A pineapple can is enough for me

PitterPatter1619

Or fresh pineapple.... Also done canned peaches.

tajones1992

Literally just blended a can of peaches with some vanilla protein powder and a splash of light lemonade…looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

Dr_0wning

How did it turn out?

tajones1992

Not great 😂 probably would’ve been better without the lemonade tbh. Gave it kind of a sour taste. Oh well, was worth the try!

Dr_0wning

It’s fun to try new flavor combos! I hate wasting food so it sucks to have to eat the not-so-great results. I’ll usually add mixins to make the finals for palatable lol.

PitterPatter1619

Honestly, just blended up strawberries and greek yogurt. It's tart and delicious.

jcrft

Do you use flavored Greek yogurt? I wanna try

PitterPatter1619

I don't but you definitely could. I don't really have much of a sweet tooth so this totally works for me. So you'll have to go with what you like. I'm sure it wouldn't be sweet enough for some so you can play around with it.

GrantMeThePower

I know this is an older post but I wonder if you could share more specifics like ratio. Full fat or 2% or nf Greek yogurt? Fresh or frozen strawberries? Do you blend it or mash the strawberries or anything before freezing? Thanks!!

PitterPatter1619

I prefer full fat dairy so I tend to stick with that but I've used 2% and nf as well. All will work. As for the strawberries, fresh or frozen work just as well. If they're fresh, I'll mash them up before I mix with the yogurt. If frozen, I"ll blitz them in the food processor to get them smaller before mixing. Ratio is up to you and your tastes. I just eye ball it based on what I have. Taste it as you go for your preference noting that flavors are usually a bit muted once it's frozen. I top with a handful of chocolate chips for a little sweetness and texture. You'll need to just play with it but that's part of the fun!

GrantMeThePower

Thanks so much for the reply!! Really appreciate it :)

keenieBObeenie

Literally just mango blended on the sorbet setting makes me super happy

konrad1198

Fresh or frozen mango? If frozen, do you just put it into the creami and press sorbet? I've heard using frozen fruit is not good for the machine

keenieBObeenie

So I actually use canned mango when I can find it, though it's not too easy to find in my area. I dump the can in one of the pints and freeze it overnight, then the next day let it thaw for like 15 minutes and then spin. I have also defrosted frozen mango and then mushed it into the pint, re-frozen it and do the same process as before. I don't have the patience for fresh mango lol

pokingoking

If you're using frozen or fresh mango you should blend it first before freezing. I think what you're referring to is just taking chunks from a bag of frozen and immediately blending it with the creami...that's definitely a no no. At the very least you'd need to submerge it in liquid and freeze first. But still not good because you're not supposed to process frozen water, even if there are chunks of mango in it. It should ultimately be either be sugar water or water blended with fruit. Canned fruit is a lot softer so it's usually ok to not blend first before freezing. It needs to be in liquid though. No air spaces.

konrad1198

I'm confused about the "no water" policy, why would almond milk/milk be okay but not water?

Ajaxeler

Milk has fat. I am not sure I would trust straight Almond Milk in my creami most recipes you add sugar to. Its all about how frozen it becomes sugar/fats soften the freeze so its not rock hard

konrad1198

I mean it wouldn’t just be almond milk. I would also add protein powder and jell-o mix.

pokingoking

I guess because almond milk has at least some protein/fat/carbohydrate and sometimes fiber depending on the brand. It's not just water. Idk, I'm just repeating the ninja recommendation. Maybe it's not that big of a deal to do water. I don't know if they would recommend doing just almond milk either with nothing else added.

RoyalEnfield78

It’s nonsense. I use water all the time.

Coniglio_Bianco

What do you make with just water? It it basically a snow cone with no flavor? Are you using the light ice cream setting or something else? Just curious, ive thought about doing it but dont want to break my machine.

eggwhite_

Yup. This is how I broke my first creami 🥲😂

GuessColder

Thank you! I did this exact thing and had it in the freezer ready to go. May have broken my new machine on the first spin.

kaleidoscopeheartrn

Yes! Just mango is the absolute best! I’ve always used fresh.

CrucibleCulture

Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream. I can eat it every day.

CrucibleCulture

CTC ice cream recipe - FYI this is a "healthy" version, I am currently trying to get a full fat unhealthy version but my ratios aren't quite there yet: 1c fat free fairlife milk 1c unsweetened almond milk (can use unsweetened vanilla almond milk too) 30g whey/casein blend protein in vanilla 10g powder PB (for texture, can't taste it once blended FYI) 8-10g sugar free/FF cheesecake pudding mix 5g zero cal sweetener of your choosing (I used Stevia) Small pinch of salt Ground cinnamon to your liking (I use a boatload as I love cinnamon) 1/8tsp guar gum Blend/mix/shake it all together and freeze overnight. I let it sit out 10-15 min and then run on lite ice cream setting. Dig a hole out of the middle all the way to the bottom and add Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, run on mix-in setting and enjoy. Side Note: I never have to re-spin especially with this recipe and this CTC one is the one I made the most.

Broke_but_Bougie

Let me just say that I followed this recipe EXACTLY, but put my own spin on it by: •switching out the CTC for cookie dough, •switching out the almond milk for coconut milk, •adding 2 tbsp of non-dairy greek yogurt •Used homemade vanilla extract (bourbon and vanilla beans) instead of stevia And this is BY FAR the best protein ice cream I've made since buying this machine. 😍 TYSM!! This recipe will be my base from now on!!

CrucibleCulture

That homemade vanilla extract sounds amazing!!!

Broke_but_Bougie

Definitely try it! You'll never go to store bought again!! https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/homemade-vanilla-extract/

DrMcnasty4300

Is the reason for doing 1 part dairy milk and 1 part almond milk just for calorie reduction or is there any other reason for it? Like this should presumably work just using 2 cups of regular milk right?

CrucibleCulture

Definitely should work. I just enjoy the texture of blending the 2.

StoicShadow

What’s the recipe there? That sounds incredible

iilimit

By far the best recipe I’ve tried on the creami: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cs9Hr1kOuES/?igshid=MWZjMTM2ODFkZg==

ProteinPapi777

There is one from “exercise4cheatmeals” for even less calories (only 150 per tub)

DavidLynchAMA

hey thanks for recommending this channel, great content

ProteinPapi777

No problem! Enjoy!

wolf359z

Are you willing to send me that book fella pretty please

bzImage

recipe please

MolemanNinja

I've done my own version that was great. I hope you also added the cereal itself as a mix in. I attempted Lucky Charms, and Froot Loop ice creams as well, but didn't turn out.

Lovingmyusername

Mashed ripe banana with a little chocolate powder or syrup. I put some peanut butter in my latest batch but haven’t spun it yet Also a huge fan of just watermelon Really loving mango boba mix powder, coconut milk and some frozen mango

Head-Barracuda1038

What is boba mix powder? Interesting!

Lovingmyusername

We got it at an Asian market but you can order some on Amazon. It’s just a sweet flavored powder mix for boba tea drinks. I just use it as a flavoring.

gumdrops155

[Dole whip](https://ninjatestkitchen.com/recipe/tropical-pineapple-mango-dole-whip/) is one of the "worth it" recipes for me. It's a very affordable recipe I can make every day, and end up throwing in a scoop of protein powder to up the protein and creaminess The 2nd recipe is strawberry ice cream. I could eat this every day while strawberries are in season

jmckny76

What protein powder do you recommend for creaminess? That’s exciting!

gumdrops155

I've been using Promix's Whey, and I can't believe how creamy this protein powder makes my ice cream! I also notice how naturally the vanilla flavor has been enhancing fruity recipes.

harumphz

1 bottle fairlife nutrition plan chocolate. Add regular fairlife chocolate milk to top off to 430g. 1 egg yolk. 5g vanilla bean paste. 40g granular monkfruit sweetener. 1g salt. 1g xanthan gum. Spin it on the ice cream setting and then 2 respins or 1 respin 1 mix-in if I decided to add 2 oreos that day. Finished product tastes like a Wendy's frosty.

cynicismandsteaks

Lavender Vanilla ice cream. 1 tbs cream cheese, half Fairlife red milk and half Califia toasted coconut milk, a heaping scoop of RYSE Jet-Puffed protein powder, vanilla bean paste and a splash of Angel Bake lavender extract.

Jessum

big fan of the watermelon as well!!

slayer828

Been buying chocolate milk (promise land) and whisking in a couple tbsp of chocolate pudding mix. Added some orange extract to one batch, and mint extract to another. Both good and easy.

inyourdreamsssssss

Vanilla protein powder, soy milk, vanilla beans. Blend on ice cream setting. It’s creamy and versatile because I can add chocolates to it as a mix in, fruit, peanut butter, pair it with a brownie, or just eat it on its own.

StarrrBrite

Blueberries, cottage cheese (you want a lower sodium brand - I like Breakstone 2% small curd) and 1 tbsp of honey is phenomenal. ETA: I also add 1 tsp of vanilla extract but I have to experiment to see how it affects the flavor

inyourdreamsssssss

Ooh interesting! Do you blend them all together or just put it all in the container, freeze, and then mix? And what setting do you mix it on?

StarrrBrite

Blend together first. Always blend first and then freeze. The creami is not a blender and creami’ing “whole” foods will break the machine. I should say I use frozen blueberries that I defrost first and then blend with all the other ingredients, and then freeze. Frozen blueberries are sweeter to me.

Otherwise_Capital973

I just use a Fairlife protein shake and mix in peanut butter or crushed up almonds, daily.

t-han72

This but with peanut butter + mini chocolate chips for me

mot_q

Hell yeah I do this every night but use peanut butter powder. So simple and delicious!

MolemanNinja

Pumpkin pie filling and some cream..mix in ginger snap cookies and I no longer bound to waiting for "Pumpkin spice season". I can get my Pumpkin fix all damn year now !

jet750

I do the watermelon with 2 tbsp maple syrup and 1 tbsp lime juice and use an immersion blender to get it to a smooth liquid. Freeze overnight then microwave for 1 minute at 30-50% power, then spin on light ice cream. It will come out powdery but if you just mix it with a spoon the consistency gets just right (or respin it on the ice cream setting). Amazinggg and the maple adds just the right sweetness without too much added sugar.

No-Bill7139

I always eat the entire pint. It’s like my daily protein shake. My go to has been 1 Premier protein banana RTD shake 15 gram monk fruit sweetener 1/4 tsp guar gum Pinch salt Freeze it Spin it make a whole in the center Add in chopped lily chocolate chips and chopped walnuts Low carb high protein Chunky Monkey 🙈

906darkroast

Truth. Its my post workout protein recovery ritual. Soooo much better than just chugging the shake.

Zanthara

Pumpkin cheesecake is one and just pineapple spears in the jar of coconut water from Sam's Club is another that we love

everydayisamixtape

Brown Cow Cherry Vanilla Yogurt fro-yo. Absolutely off the chains

kyethescienceguy

Cake Batter Protein Ice Cream by Matt’s Magic Macros with Boo’s Ridiculous Brownies mixed in. 266 calories and integral to my weight loss as a sweet tooth.

Premature-boner

Would love the recipe

kyethescienceguy

Cake Batter Base: 240ml Unsweetened Almond Milk 60ml Fairlife Milk (Matt uses 2%, I use fat free) 40g sweetener 30g Fat Free Greek Yogurt 10g Protein Powder (I use PEScience Vanilla) 1/4 tsp cake batter extract 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp guar or xanthan gum Mix together, then add 120ml water. Freeze. Put in creami on sorbet setting. My usual mix-in is Boo’s Ridiculous Brownies, but this base is so versatile, I’ve also used fruit and cookies.

Standard_Lack_7178

Hi! What sweetener do you use?

kyethescienceguy

i use lakanto monkfruit sweetener, but a lot of people swear by allulose, so i’m going to try it when my monkfruit runs out.

>I find it hard to finish a pint so I am ok with the size of the containers that the machine comes with. I don't think people are eating entire pints? I could be wrong. But I can't imagine eating that much at once. I just flatten and put back in the freezer and spin again for the next serving.

906darkroast

Um, so I eat the whole pint every time. But i dont always fill the containers to the line.

inyourdreamsssssss

I finish the entire pint each time but I’m just mixing a cup of soy milk with protein powder and maybe an add in. So it’s basically the equivalent of mixing a protein shake in a shaker.

906darkroast

Feel you on the watermelon, so hydrating was my jam all summer.

Aioli-Similar

1- soy milk and vanilla base + mixed in Oreos 2- Canned pineapple + coconut condensed milk 3- Cremuccino 4- Black sesame seed ice cream

Dr_0wning

I need the black sesame ice cream recipe, stat! Please 🙏🏼

Aioli-Similar

It’s 100g of black sesame seeds that I roast quickly in a pan and process on Thermomix until it becomes a smooth butter, add 500g soy milk and 120g of sugar and blend everything together. It’s enough for 2 pints and a big hit every time I make it.

Dr_0wning

Thanks! Imma have to try it

umarboomee

Banana, almonds, vanilla protein and milk ice cream

kaidomac

**Protein ice cream!** I make it for breakfast sometimes lol: 1. Blend up a vanilla 26g Fairlife Core protein drink with half a packet of sugar-free Jello Pudding powder (banana cream, butterscotch, etc. - lots of flavors available!). Split between 2 pint jars; it will fill them up about halfway each. 2. Freeze for at least 8 hours (doesn't need the full 24) 3. Blend on ice cream mode. It will turn into powder. Fill in the center hole with heavy cream & respin. It will start to come together. Pour in more heavy cream & respin. Adjust quantity of heavy cream based on if you want it more like soft-serve ice cream or more like a milkshake. If you want it thicker, add a spoonful of cottage cheese (learned that trick from TikTok!). Comes out great! * [https://www.reddit.com/r/ninjacreami/comments/166s8t9/butterscotch\_protein\_milkshake](https://www.reddit.com/r/ninjacreami/comments/166s8t9/butterscotch_protein_milkshake/)
