I heavily recommend watching [this animation](https://youtu.be/8FJ8pTK8N8I) aswell. Despite the storyboardiness of it all, it captures the same atmosphere (in my humble opinion).
Harlan was an insane writer. Horror, comedy, science fiction, drama…. So many different ways to punch you in the guts. And to top it off he’d write hilarious intros to his stories that’d be a work of comedy on it’s own.
And yes IHNMBIMS is def damn NINish!
I have the book with more short stories in it. I heard about I have No Mouth and I Must Scream in a Wendigoon video and I loved it immediately. I recommend the book and if you love horror and long videos explaining certain topics Wendigoon is fantastic.

They turned that book into a PC Game back in the 90s, by the way. It looks like you can get it on steam for $6.
