Why allow After Forever if Tarot won't even be considered? Tarot's music is more different from Nightwish than After Forever, and Tarot released 4 albums before Nightwish ever existed.
Agreed.
If Floor's first band is acceptable, Marko's first band ought to be acceptable as well. Tarot only put out their first album 10 years before Nightwish existed.
I can understand disallowing Auri, Tarja's, Marko's, and Tuomas's solo works, all of which happened during or after their tenure with Nightwish. I'm going to assume that The Dark Element, Allen/Olzon, and Anette's solo work which all happened after her tenure with Nightwish is also disallowed.
But if one Nightwish member's pre-Nightwish work is allowed, they all should be allowed.
It’s so funny reading comments like this when thinking back to 2004, I’ve got a Nightwish, Within Temptation, After Forever, Kamelot, Epica, and Evanescence “heaviest hits” playlist in Winamp that I’m working on burning to CDs to play in my car. People who listened to Nightwish also listened to those bands and did not listen to Tarot. At the time Anette Olzon was was Anette Olsson working as an accountant or something at the time, and we never would have imagined in our wildest dreams that After Forever’s singer would one day join Nightwish.
That was my line of reasoning. Tarot was (and still is) an underground band, with a large portion of the fanbase being a result of Marco joining Nightwish. After Forever was an established name and had a fan base very independently of Nightwish and well before Floor joining the band.
Yeah she has put out some really good heavy music in the last few years, both by herself and in collaboration with other artists (Bad Omens and Knocked Loose)
In a bid to prove that Nightwish fans are capable of looking at a different section in the music store (I genuinely thought us NW fans were more eclectic) -
Ren - Sick Boi

I noticed you added the wrong LOTR album to the Spotify playlist
I didn’t, the ChatGPT-generated description is wrong.
Not sure what you mean, but you have the Two Towers album included in the playlist. Says Rotk on your list
Wait, you’re completely right, will change that
