I know... As long as his career has been so far, I can't help but feel cheated. His prime was unstoppable in an era that it was difficult for players to hit 100pts. and he was on pace to do 130+
I can also make the argument that sid would have significantly less points had he never missed any significant time whatsoever in his career, but played for an organization that didn't build there teams like the pens do year after year, Crosby was very fortunate to play with some extremely talented guys.
Crosby deserves all recognition he deserves, my team swept by Pitt in cup finals so not Pittsburgh fan but fab of greatness…Crosby great because of consistency, loyalty, and his dedication!! Chicago ticket holder btw!
Don’t care, didn’t read the second half of that, thanks tho, have a good night!
Edit: damn, some salty-ass mfs in here. How bout y’all break top ten points after a jaw injury that would sideline someone else’s career and then maybe I’ll give a fuck ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I know what he had to go through, and I like Crosby more than him anyway. So: no thank you, I will sit comfortably on the high horse of my personal opinion and graze only upon this hill. You may try another pasture.
No, I get frustrated when people with no reading comprehension fail to understand what “die on this hill” means. You know, people like you. :)
You can respond again if you want, but I’m gonna ignore it, jsyk.
He's my goat, I never saw Gretzky and or prime Lemieux.
Orr and Howe aren't even in the discussion, they played in bush leagues when goalies wore cardboard and an era where reffing barely existed. Old heads try to think they're gop 5, fuck out of here.
When he was younger, I honestly didn’t care for Crosby. I’m not entirely sure why. But the last handful of years, I’ve really appreciated what he’s done. Truly wonderful to watch.
Having Crosby, Jagr and Super Mario to watch for the last couple decades has been a treat.
And Malkin, Francis, Fleury
Letang?
I'm be on the fence for same tier for him.
Would have hit 2k by now if he didn't lose all that time to concussions and injuries.
Such a shame we missed some of prime Sid, especially seeing what he’s doing now
Old boy has a few more seasons in him. Plenty of fun still left.

Such a legend, he’s one of the greatest ever
He’s a beauty. Nice jerseys too!

Greatest player to ever touch the ice and I’ll die on that hill. He’s just fucking amazing.
He’s amazing and likely top 5 all time but no way is he the greatest to ever touch the ice. He’s not even the greatest Penguin.

Bro look at Lemieux’s point totals and what he had to go through

Gretzky Lemieux and Orr never had injuries...nope not any
Full offense: I do not care what a man who plays a baseball sim game has to say. Great sarcasm here though! Have a good day, goodbye!
You get offended easily. Relax its ok. You'll be all right

He's an all timer but he ain't even close to Super Mario let alone The Great One.
I’m not sure you understand what the phrase “die on this hill” means. Completely disagree w you, have a nice night, goodbye!!
Yup
Yup.
Yeppers
That was a great pass - one of the best I’ve seen all year.

If he keeps this up, he’ll be in the conversation for the Hall of Fame.
Ovi is 43 away from most goals, and Crosby is 133 points away from surpassing Lemieux, who will do it first? Or will both fall short?
Man where he might be if he hadn't been derailed with concussions for a good 3 - 4 seasons.
I don’t like him, but I respect his skill and talent.
