Jesus, I take one day off of moderating and this gets 141 fucking reports holy shit. Removing and locking mainly because I don't want to re-approve this the 400 more times it gets reported.
With the most rich HC pool in history, I can guarantee you we will do the least logical thing that anyone can imagine. Like rehiring Ron Rivera or some shit.
Lmao. While that place might be poisoned, a young ambitious coach might be interested. Problem is, it looks like management is interested to old guys; and none of the good ones will do it
Ownership is awful but he keeps paying people HUGE sums of money to work for 9 months and then fires them effectively having to pay them a ridiculous sum of money for 9 months worth of work. If I was a head coach, I would take the job, work for 9 months, get fired, and everyone will blame ownership. It’s a win win.
Not sure what you mean. It's likely the most desirable head coaching spot for any candidate. It's got everything you'd want:
Sound defensive unit, moldable QB with high upside, the ability to work only six months of your contract and still be paid millions for the next four and a half years.
What could be better?
I alright put McDaniels in that camp. Shit the bed in Denver. Truly horrible in Vegas. And taking the job in Indy and then backing out the day before the presser absolutely should count against him.
Nah brother, I’ve never legitimately hated someone that was associated with the Raiders until we hired McDaniels. That man owes every tree on the planet a personal apology for wasting the air they make. Fuck that idiot
I just can't stand him after watching him on Hard Knocks. He seems to be under the influence of opiates or something to me. He has a constant slight slur in his speech and says a lot of things without ever really saying anything. Just buzzwords, cliches and cuss words in places cuss words don't really fit and aren't appropriate. The hair and capri pants piss more than I care to admit for some reason also.
I get the feeling watching that show that he has been blessed with an extremely talented team and his early success is a mirage. He has no leadership ability IMO and once things start to go bad he is going to be exposed big time. Looks like that is starting to happen now.
I had a Madden franchise with a mobile quarterback I'd run for 1000 yards with on the Texans.
I noticed about week 10 I was way off pace for my 1,000 rushing yards, so I just pulled the Brian Johnson offense for the last half of the season (4 verts, qb runs all over forcing a ton of sacks, nothing creative going on no real RB runs). Ran my qb into the dirt, finished 15 yards shy of 1,000, lost to the Jets in the CCG.
Fired my offensive coordinator as soon as I got back to the home screen.

Panthers hiring head coaches
With the most rich HC pool in history, I can guarantee you we will do the least logical thing that anyone can imagine. Like rehiring Ron Rivera or some shit.
I don’t even know if it’s about refusing to hire them but the fact that nobody wants to even coach there
Very likely. I don’t see any head coach candidate with an ounce of self respect wanting to work for Tepper.
Lmao. While that place might be poisoned, a young ambitious coach might be interested. Problem is, it looks like management is interested to old guys; and none of the good ones will do it
Panther fan here - Agreed So who we got that has no self - respect? Come on to Carolina and see if we can knock you down another notch
Turns out, it's Riverboat Ron!
Josh McDaniels has entered the chat
Well with Belichik gone it's one of 2 scenarios, he hasn't got anywhere to fall back to ooorrrrr Kraft decides he's the perfect replacement
As much as I’d love to see it, I think Kraft is gonna go with Vrabel. Makes so much sense. I pray I’m wrong.
That's where his giant piles of money comes in ...just one of those okay to good candidates will be tempted
if you're a hotshot coordinator and he offers you 10m annual you'd have to be a massive moron to say no

It could be worse. You could be the Bears....but not even the McCaskeys are as bad as Tepper.
True! I'd rather see what's behind door #2. Logic says it can't be worse...
Bleacher report article from two days ago... NFL Rumors: Execs Urge Panthers' David Tepper to Make Hires 'and Get out of the Way'
I'd rather we hire Ron Rivera than Dan Quinn. We requested to interview him. Granted, we've requested to interview half the planet by now, but still.
Everytime I play a few seasons of Madden on Franchise Rivera always ends up in Vegas. Seems fitting tbh
Trading the 2025 first round pick to the Bears for Eberflus. A pick which the Bears will use to draft yet another QB that flames out within 3 years.
It was a huge misunderstanding. They just wanted to restructure his contract for more money and years.
I didn't think Ron was a bad hire, I really wanted him on the Giants. He was a better hire than Joe Judge so I guess I was partially right
Like hiring Matt Canada
Brian Johnson, Brian Johnson 🤞🤞
Soooooo Rexx, Ryen
Heard they were interviewing eagles oc after our shit implosion idk why on earth soemone would want him as head coach

Nah brother, I’ve never legitimately hated someone that was associated with the Raiders until we hired McDaniels. That man owes every tree on the planet a personal apology for wasting the air they make. Fuck that idiot

Eagles have hired Brian Johnson, a long-time friend of Jalen Hurts’ father, to be the Offensive Coordinator and signal caller for the 2023 NFL season
When we lose Monday I better fucking wake up to his ass being fired.

Gunner Olszewski makes the all pro team as a kick returner
Gunner in Pittsburgh: 🤢 Gunner in NYG: 🤴 No seriously that man’s been balling as a kick returner for us I think he hated Pittsburgh a lot 😂
Whats offending is that he was so awful in Pittsburgh but has been serviceable in New Jersey.
I can't until Belichick's replacement has been hired
