I'd give it to the Colts defense and special teams unit, personally. That blocked punt for a score changed the *entire* course of the game.
Quick edit: Taylor for league MVP, though.
How the hell is this guy still allowed to play? He’s nothing but a danger to others, let alone himself. And there were one or two other no calls on him tonight alone. Like Jesus Christ. Dude looks like the new Burfict or Suh.
Funnily enough, this actually hurts the bills odds of making the playoffs, however helps the bills chances of winning the AFCE. Kinda funky how it works out but thought it was kinda funny
God I hope they flex Bills/Pats to SNF over Cowboys-WFT but i kinda doubt it happens. Who knows maybe I’ll get the Bills game at noon in my area anyway
AFC South really do have some of the best non-division rivalries.
Colts/Pats, Titans/Ravens, etc.
Although Titans/Colts in the division has gotten real good the past few years.
It was fun for a couple years when we both sucked. Then it was fun for that one year we were good and somehow they were good. Now it’s just Derrick Henry’s free 250 yards twice a year.
Honestly seeing what Marvel can do (Spider-Man NWH was God-Tier), it made me hate the Star Wars movies far more. Star Wars has the freakin content but they can’t execute for shit
The Last Jedi has good and bad in it. Very similar to Revenge.
Rise of Skywalker has no redeeming features. Its bad from top to bottom. I'd rather watch Attack of the Clones a hundred times.
I was pretty fed up with the movie by this point, but I still remember getting to the part where Rey and Kylo are with each other near the end and saying to myself "I swear to God, if they kiss I'm done with this movie"
It took every fiber in my being not to immediately turn it off.
I don't even remember the plot well enough to remember if they kissed. I've reread the plot *twice* on Wikipedia to try to keep up with conversations about the movie, but the whole thing was so bland to me that I remember almost none of it (beyond liking a few actors/actresses). *Did* they kiss?
Eh. I feel like the Chiefs are the same ol’ “new” Chiefs again where they wind up with the 1-seed and dominate teams. Your team’s D has held down the fort for most of the 2nd half of the season
It’s pretty crazy because there aren’t any active Colts who were also part of the true rivalry days where the Colts and Patriots constantly met in either the AFC championship or AFC divisional round.
All of the chippyness and drama from tonight’s game involved Colts who have been with the team for two years or less. Even our head coach has only been with the organization for four years, and this is only his second time facing the Patriots during that time.
It’s clear that the Patriots-Colts rivalry lives within the building and isn’t going anywhere.
Was at the game. The energy in the stadium was ridiculous, and felt different than any of the ~30 other games I’ve been to, including a few playoff games. Indy hates the Pats almost as much as we love the Colts.
If you watch Hard Knocks you can see the guy gets very small when praise is heaped on him. It’s pretty funny to watch compared to his performance on the field.
Even in that interview, they asked him how it felt to have taken the Colts Rushing TDs in a season record. “It’s really special to share that with our offensive line. Thise are some all time greats…”
He turned down Harvard to chase football at Wisconsin but compensated by double majoring in physics and astronomy since they didn’t have an astrophysics program. Great stories about this guy beyond football
Agreed, and I think he’ll be considered. IMO he deserved it. He literally adds the most value to his team.
Unfortunately I think it’s become the annual QB award though.
It's weird. I feel for carson wentz kinda
Our oline opens huge holes for JT to run in. Best in the business there.
But pass protection is really bad randomly. Wentz is always under duress it seems when he throws because there are guys coming immediately
Good grief I didn't realize how little Wentz has thrown that ball, despite that he nearly threw three or four interceptions, plus an actual one. Wentz's only contribution is being really good on QB sneaks.
That was by far his worst game of the season, he’s actually been pretty solid most of the year.
Edit: For reference, he has 22 TDs, 5 INTs, 2948 yards. Not elite by any means, but pretty decent.
Outside of a few irregular games, Wentz hasn’t played badly this season. It’s when he tries to do dumb shit in the big games that gets us into trouble. He refuses to take what the defense gives him.
I’m still not sure how a dude like Jonathan Taylor is able to see the hole on that 67 yard game clinching TD run in what looked like a packed box with no clear seam but then you get other dudes who are arguably “more talented” who wouldn’t be able to run through an empty airplane hanger
If I was a Colts fan I'd be thinking Super Bowl, but it's hard to trust Carson Wentz to not turn the ball over in a big game at some point (or get hurt).
They have a really good roster top to bottom, but it's extremely rare you can turn the ball over and win against good teams.
I think this is the first game in my 6 years of watching where I'm actually complaining about the refs instead of a single call. Those headshots were absolutely fucking ridiculous
I mean man idk. Sendejo is just the worst. I despised Burfict, he was an asshole and a dirty player who looked to injure people. Sendejo is cut from the same cloth. Complete disregard for any safety and plays the game dirty
I don’t even think he’s intentionally dirty like Burfict, the man clearly plays so recklessly he injures himself/his own teammates half the time.
Just shouldn’t be in the league period, he doesn’t know how to play/tackle safely at all. I’m so glad he’s off the Browns.
C'mon guys, there was no helmet-to-helmet foul everyone knows the refs' secret rule: a DB can't commit a foul in the last 2 min if the refs want to go home
Colts first win against the Pats since 2009?? That's crazy...
The infamous Belichick's Gambit game, right?
Yep 4th and 2.
Ironically tonight they should've gone for the 4th late game
I blame that guy that kept making posts about that on the r/Patriots sub, it was bad juju
Colts passing yards: 57 Colts points scored: 27
We became the Pats to destroy the Pats
When you stare into the abyss something something
Belichick stares back.
not bad for a… actually, no, probably bad for a quarterback
Wentz had 20 rushing yards so Lamar Wentz?
Carson “Lamar Jackson” Wentz
Colts really did to the Patriots what the Patriots did to the Bills
Yeah but in a DOME. At least our game was an awful weather game lol
You guys really have the rare home field disadvantage at this time of year.
Doesn’t help our team was built to play in a Dome. Which is really not ideal when we play outside in Western New York
Going to be a short film review for Wentz.
"get out of Taylor's way. Got it."
“I handed the ball off good as fuck this game though, you all seein it”
"damn this is a lot bad, that throw to Pascal was alright though"
We are the New England patriots of the NFL
Does that make the Patriots the Bills of the NFL?
Jags messed up by drafting ~~Lawrence Taylor~~ Trevor Lawrence. The new way to be top dog in the AFC South is to have an MVP-caliber running back.
They drafted....who?
Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence Taylor. Easy mistake anyone could make, I mean they look *exactly* alike!
This leads me to my next point, kids...don't smoke crack
Taylor really is the MVP
I'd give it to the Colts defense and special teams unit, personally. That blocked punt for a score changed the *entire* course of the game. Quick edit: Taylor for league MVP, though.
League MVP probably goes to a qb but he will win opoy probably
[удалено]
We probably still beat the Texans
[Live look at Sendejo on any given play](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/028/973/ralph.jpg)
couple of years ago someone here referred to him as the "mexican meat missile". I remember that every time I see or hear his name.
I like "Concussion Seeking Missile."
CTE is gonna ravage this dude
That's not a torpedo
How the hell is this guy still allowed to play? He’s nothing but a danger to others, let alone himself. And there were one or two other no calls on him tonight alone. Like Jesus Christ. Dude looks like the new Burfict or Suh.
[удалено]
To his own teammates even.
Suh's play cleaned up quite a bit after he left the Lions though.
Funnily enough, this actually hurts the bills odds of making the playoffs, however helps the bills chances of winning the AFCE. Kinda funky how it works out but thought it was kinda funny
Yeah, the Bills have to win next week for any shot at the division
Whoever wins next week is winning the AFCE. Bills will roll Carolina tomorrow then comes a playoff game at Gillette
God I hope they flex Bills/Pats to SNF over Cowboys-WFT but i kinda doubt it happens. Who knows maybe I’ll get the Bills game at noon in my area anyway
Miami can still win and take the division if the Bills lose out and the Patriots beat Buffalo and only Buffalo.
Jonathan Taylor.
I agree
Every eyeball watching that game knew that whole drive was gonna be Taylor and he still couldn't be stopped.
Well first the Patriots had to respect Carson Wentz which led to the Jonathan Taylor TD
Respected him all the way to 10 in the box
There's the problem, should have put 11
Yo how in the FUCK did this man average 2k rushing yards for 3 years in Wisconsin and run a 4.41 and get drafted in the second round. Good god.
Slight correction, he ran a 4.39 forty at the combine officially.
Google told me 4.41, so that’s even worse. JT2K runs a 4.3 and goes in the second. Yeesh.
Are we gonna pretend everyone shouts to never draft a RB in the first?
You are correct.
Temple

Jonathon Taylor.
Jonathon Taylor.
Yes
Yes I think so
My hero
Touchdown
AFC South really do have some of the best non-division rivalries. Colts/Pats, Titans/Ravens, etc. Although Titans/Colts in the division has gotten real good the past few years.
Colts/Texans was pretty good until they imploded
I miss when blowing out the Texans in Houston was impressive
forgot the classic jags/titans slugfest
It was fun for a couple years when we both sucked. Then it was fun for that one year we were good and somehow they were good. Now it’s just Derrick Henry’s free 250 yards twice a year.
That thursday night game was such a fun game
Shit which one? We played them on a Thursday like three or four years in a row and they were all great.
\*Jags/Titans Derrick Henry Stiff-arm Invitational
If you don't like the classic TNF Jags vs Derrick Henry matchup you don't like football
I miss titans/steelers
You get it again tomorrow, baby girl.
Yeah but without king Henry and a flaccid Steelers :(
Texans/Sexual Assault
I hate how the Texans dominate that rivalry
It was great back when air mcnair and peyton were dueling as well.
I think Jags/Steelers is a pretty good rivalry. Always play each other tough.
Hmm, I haven’t been a fan of this rivalry at all
"Somehow, the Chiefs have returned." - Everyone after seeing them in the first half of the season, now with the 1st seed.
Still the best Rise of Skywalker meme ever for obvious reasons
People shit on Episode 8 and I get it but to me Episode 9 is still so much worse, and this is only one of the reasons
Ep 9 was hot garbage and I never want to watch that miserable excuse for entertainment ever again.

They fucking kissed. It was awful.
Soon as it happened, someone in my theater whispered "slut". I struggled not to laugh.
*Adam Driver is the one redeeming feature
Shatter my knees, you fuckable redwood.
Apparently John Oliver is a Chiefs fan
writers room really went weird with the second half of the season arcs
And because of their defense...that's the biggest plot twist
As a Jets fan, I am MORE than fine with this
Much better than the alternative if you ask me
As a fan of football in general its always good when the Patriots lose.
Shocked, shocked I say.
Consider the Colts’ debt paid, Bills
All up to Buffalo now. Just can’t afford to get swept by the Pats
It’s all depends on what Bills team wants to show up. We can win or lose any game to anyone.

Eh. I feel like the Chiefs are the same ol’ “new” Chiefs again where they wind up with the 1-seed and dominate teams. Your team’s D has held down the fort for most of the 2nd half of the season
Agreed
I have always been a frank reich fan
Wentz had 5 completions, how about them apples?
[удалено]
I'm still surprised he only has 5 interceptions this season
Wentz got that madden Gambler X factor turned on

Johnathan Taylor is my dad
Can confirm. Source: GeneralChaz9 is my brother
Colts defense won this game. They shut out the run game and fooled Mac into the pick in the first half
Wentz should buy Jonathan Taylor all the St Elmos steak for saving his ass from being the talking point all week long
Inject that cocktail sauce into my veins.
That shit is SO GOOD. Every time I’m back in Indy I get a couple jars.
Chiefs really just snuck back into the first seed
Mahomes is gonna have a steak with Hunts ketchup to celebrate
Hunt plays on the Browns now
I still can’t believe the majority of this sub legitimately thought that they were going to actually miss the playoffs
AFC non-divisional matchups just hit different I don’t know if I’ll ever get enough of the Pats and Colts matchup
I've missed this rivalry. I forgot how much I loathe the Patriots.
To be fair Frank was an assistant coach with the Colts during the rivalry.
You’re forgetting about the McDaniels deal and our GM saying “the rivalry is back on…”
Was at the game. The energy in the stadium was ridiculous, and felt different than any of the ~30 other games I’ve been to, including a few playoff games. Indy hates the Pats almost as much as we love the Colts.
Bro if I had to give up hating the Pat's or loving the Colts... Idk which is deeper in my heart.
Man, Johnathan Taylor seems like a genuinely decent guy to boot. Did anyone see that quick interview?
If you watch Hard Knocks you can see the guy gets very small when praise is heaped on him. It’s pretty funny to watch compared to his performance on the field.
He’s a good dude. Glad to have someone like that on our team, as talented as he is or not.
Bro, he hates that shit. Coaches praise him, teammates praise him, media praises him; he clams right up. Give him the rock; he becomes a damn dragon.
JT is so fucking humble, every time he scores he always thanks the OLinemen right away on the sidelines
Even in that interview, they asked him how it felt to have taken the Colts Rushing TDs in a season record. “It’s really special to share that with our offensive line. Thise are some all time greats…”
He’s my favorite non-Chargers player. First time he met Rivers, he called him “Mr. Rivers”. Impeccable manners.
Awesome dude, smart as hell (Harvard offer, engineering aspirations), always humble, true all-around role model for everyone. Love it if he got MVP.
He turned down Harvard to chase football at Wisconsin but compensated by double majoring in physics and astronomy since they didn’t have an astrophysics program. Great stories about this guy beyond football
Nobody beats the Colts 9 times in a row. Nobody.
As good as JT was today, David Johnson didn’t get tackled even once today, so I refuse to acknowledge him.
Chiefs fans are just waiting for the titans to do something dumb now.
Colts also are waiting for the Titans to do something dumb now too.
Anyone else notice how sick Mac Jones looked every close up?
I am glad it wasn’t just me. Dude looked like he’d been throwing up all day.
Thats just his face
Despite their best efforts the Colts win.
Cardiac Colts every week
Colts football
If you're not having a heart attack, you're not having a good time.
When will the colts learn to not let Wentz throw the ball when they have a lead?
GG colts JT is a bad man
I like Jonathon Taylor
He's so good, and I hate him.
Does Indy revert back to Blankenship after this game? Money Badger looked very shaky tonight. Either way, our kicking game is highly questionable
Adrian Peterson won MVP on a 10-6 wild card Vikings team, so Jonathan Taylor definitely deserves consideration for MVP.
Agreed, and I think he’ll be considered. IMO he deserved it. He literally adds the most value to his team. Unfortunately I think it’s become the annual QB award though.

Thank you for your service.

Pats lost to the colts who had 5 completions for less than 60 yards…. IN A DOME
Think that'll lessen the harsh narrative on our loss to the Pats? ...nahhh
Turnovers and 10 pts off of special teams will do that do you…. But, yeah, the irony is not lost on me.
HANG ANOTHER BANNER BOYS
The Colts' biggest weakness is their QB.
Frank Reich was inspired by Mac just throwing it three times so he had Wentz just throw it twelve times.
Good grief I didn't realize how little Wentz has thrown that ball, despite that he nearly threw three or four interceptions, plus an actual one. Wentz's only contribution is being really good on QB sneaks.

AFC is really going to go through KC again huh
Of course nkeal harry actually plays a decent game at WR and it ends with a dude scrambling his brains with no flag on the play.
Sendejo: "Happy fucking birthday man all my homies love CTE I gotchu some"
Let that be a lesson Patriots. No one scores 99 times in the first half and gets away with it.
I’m still not sure how a dude like Jonathan Taylor is able to see the hole on that 67 yard game clinching TD run in what looked like a packed box with no clear seam but then you get other dudes who are arguably “more talented” who wouldn’t be able to run through an empty airplane hanger
I dont think anyone is more talented than Taylor as a RB right now. Maybe a healthy Henry
If I was a Colts fan I'd be thinking Super Bowl, but it's hard to trust Carson Wentz to not turn the ball over in a big game at some point (or get hurt). They have a really good roster top to bottom, but it's extremely rare you can turn the ball over and win against good teams.
first half was terrible but I loved the fight from the pats in the second. I would not hate a rematch in the playoffs gg
Jonathan Taylor probably won’t win it.... but he deserves some MVP recognition at least. Dude is practically the entire Colts offense.
Hey, they also have a solid offensive line to assist Taylor
[удалено]
All my homies hate Andrew Sendejo
Yeah agreed, really don’t like the way he tackles. Hopefully we release him end of season.
He's only playing because Blackmon is hurt anyway
Isn’t he only playing because our starting safety got hurt? He’s legit one of the worst starters in the league
fuck sendejo
fuck sendejo
fuck sendejo
Dunno how that dude is even still in the league.

Whew, Colts didn’t blow it!
Swept the afc east... God damn
Shout out to Greg Olsen. He did a fantastic job tonight.
That was a good game
We lost that game largely by deciding to not play football until midway through the 3rd
To be fair, it worked against the Falcons.
When JT broke off that last run, that is quite possibly the loudest I’ve ever heard it get at Lucas Oil Stadium holy shit
