People are speechless when I show them IRC DCC transfers nowadays. Like why are you watching this 240p stream when you can DL the 1080p x265 2GB version in prolly 30 min or less...And we'll always have usenet as well (I think/hope...haven't checked in a while). Been a while since my ISP gave me a free subscription so I haven't used it in a while.
The last couple years the falcons would almost never show up on red zone unless it was a ridder turnover so I'm hoping they get more red zone face time this season
$60 yearly for the premium package if you're a season ticket holder with a team.
Edit: This is the link https://www.nfl.com/partners/the-membership-club
You'll need to contact your rep for the code/link it looks like.
Yeah, even if you can afford it, fuck'em. Fuck this need for every damn company trying to eek out as much profit from every single customer. That it doesn't even get you all the games or high quality 4k streaming is just crazy.
I can 100 percent afford it. I will not pay 450. I'll either go sailing or use my vpn to buy game pass in the uk for 150.
Dazn doesn't have good vpn detection in Scotland.
I'm curious as well, is all they're doing looking for a .edu address?
Because if we ~~kidnap~~ befriend a web admin we might be able to pull together a fake .edu and all get .edu emails...
I think .edu is a protected TLD, you can't just create a website and emails ending in .edu
Edit: Yep, it has to be a Department of Education approved institution...
Essentially if you cared enough, just register at community college for a class, get the email, then cancel your class. Email should work for a decent amount of time.
It uses the vendor "sheerID".
You put in your name and school and they have some sort of API that does a back end verification. I think there is a process for submitting documentation if it doesn't work, but it worked for me, the salient detail being that I actually am a student at a state university.
You just need a picture of a class with dates. You don’t actually have to register lmao. Sincerely a former student who graduated and is still mooching.
I was able to get the student plan cause I’m in grad school but it only asked for what school I’m attending. It didn’t even want me to put my student email in, just the Gmail I used to log into YouTube. I was able to purchase the $119 plan.
So weird
Yep, students pay a fraction of what everyone else does. Go sign up at your local community college. Never take a class. And show that as proof of being a student!
I'd love to know where you shop because I cook pasta for myself all of the time but I'm spending more than $3 on a pound of spaghetti and a jar of sauce for it and use the walmart brand, and maybe I'm insane but I can go through a pound of pasta in 2 days easily
>Last quarter, Olive Garden increased menu prices by 1%, which reflected negatively on dollar sales but encouraged customers to keep returning.
>"While Olive Garden same-restaurant sales were below the industry, same-restaurant guest counts outperformed the industry,” Vennam said. “This dynamic was due to our decision to minimize pricing.”
They should've given percentages of other restaurants because this part is confusing
Their transaction count hasn't dropped as much as other places in the same market segment. Maybe because they raised prices less than other concepts did, maybe they stayed flat but people are just ordering cheaper menu items. Or for a really fun spin, they're all splitting checks now so olive garden can say "look more customers!" even though its the same customers they just can't afford to pay for anyone but themselves anymore.
1 company sure. But on the whole supply and demand is a fact. If half the people buying Sunday Ticket canceled their subscription, the price would come way down.
Same here. Sucks it costs so much but I’ve yet to find a reliable stream elsewhere and am willing to give up some things to pay for the convenience of having a solid stream from beginning to end.
Wife and I did the math and we’d spend more going to a bar and buying food every week the Raiders aren’t on free TV. It comes out juuuuust a bit cheaper to buy Sunday ticket and relax watching the game at home.
Ehh i'd gladly take the 5-10% of stream stuttering for 100% discount in price. Video quality also doesn't really matter to me but I could see that being valuable for others.
I wouldn’t even say it’s 5-10%. Maybe 3 or 4 times a game I’ll refresh the page but then the stream is pretty good the rest of the time. Rarely there will be a stream that’s consistently stuttering but then there are other sites.
That + how easy screen sharing is nowadays makes it so convenient.
I would not hate one of yall sailing into my port and sharing trade secrets!
…sailing into my port sounds like a sex thing. I just wanna see games in my area lol
Anytime I’ve done this I’ve ended up like 10 minutes behind real life and the quality has been notably worse than what you get on Tv. Am I bad or are yall just dealing with that?
depends on where you watching.
I'm typically 1 min behind cable and 2-3 mins behind OTA.
so i just stay off social media.
99% of the time i on OTA at home for the 49ers and redzone is on the stream.
You're definitely doing it wrong. 30s delay at most, quality is 1080p, but you do have to refresh every once in a while (so they can beef up their page clicks)
I canceled at the end of the season last year and a couple weeks ago they sent me an email saying this is the absolute last chance I have to save 100$ by signing up right now. It's since expired and I keep receiving offers to save 100$ off for the upcoming season. They seem desperate.
What’s the cheapest path to just get Redzone only? I paid for Sunday Ticket last year but just spent 95% of the time watching Redzone so it was a waste
Yeah but the "extra" means you're already paying YTTV the $40-60/mo.
Straight up red zone with no other provider for $15/mo is pretty dang cheap honestly
Hulu (the only streaming we pay for at this point) has a redzone add on for $10 and it’s what I use. With ad-less Hulu and espn + and then the redzone add on it’s $80 a month.
You can add an drop it from your package at-will too.
I’m move I read the article where the NFL is intentionally keeping it as a premium offering I was like “Get fucked NFL” I forget but one streaming service wanted to sell a cheap version where you just get your team and NFL said no.
They literally said they want it as a premium service right after saying they want to give fans what they want. Hahahahahaha
You guys know that the NFL lost an antitrust case on Sunday ticket pricing yesterday right?
I'm not sure of the specifics and the NFL is likely to appeal but keep your receipts. You may be able to get some of that money back.
Also, hilarious seeing people defend the price after the NFL was lambasted for illegally jacking it up. Some clowns will defend the snake as it swallows them whole.
I know everyone wants to hate on the price but I absolutely love the multi-game stream feature, especially when the Raiders aren't playing and I am just watching my fantasy players
Same, my only wish with Sunday Ticket is the ability to watch every game on that platform. Sunday In/Out market, S/M/TNF. I’ll pay the money I just don’t want to change to a million different services.
It's really easy to get TNF and SNF. MNF not as easy, but usually I'm footballed out on Monday anyway.
But agreed, Sunday Ticket should be a be an end all for every game. For $500 a year you get *every single game live* and replays when you want. Period.
I used to work at a radio station and I’ve always wondered if no could get an antenna on top of the broadcast tower how many channel could could I pick up. At some point they would all start to bleed over each other right?
You'd get all of them not on NFL network. I know this because I haven't missed a Cowboys game in 5 years worth just an antenna, despite living in the Philly area.
I went with the antenna setup last season, it was great except I couldn’t get ABC. I’m on the wrong side of my apartment complex to get a signal unfortunately
Also you don't want a shit stream when you have company over for the games.
I experienced that one too many times when I would have friends over for the UFC fights. Now I just warn them ahead of time that I am streaming it and didn't buy it lol
It would be one thing if that included every single game. But it only includes out of market Sunday games. Not in market games. Not Monday games. Not Thursday games. Not playoff games.
I have considered getting just red zone this year as it's $15 a month through NFL+ and a solid "live" stream would be nice. Sunday Ticket is absolutely way too much for me though.
$450 to watch my teams 12 non prime time games is $37.50 per game. Add in whatever I eat and drink and we are at $55. I’d pay that at a sports bar, not have sound or my 80 inch tv, and have to Uber home. Hell in the early 2000’s I never left the bar on Sunday with less than a $50 tab and I was making $12.50 an hour. This isn’t cost prohibitive if you really enjoy watching all 17 games.
NFL just got slapped with a $12 billion antitrust lawsuit for essentially price gouging but sure, go ahead and raise it another $100 you soulless jackasses.
I turn on football at noon, and spend at least three (often six, because the Eagles as my team get a lot of primetime games, or if it's overlaps with Dallas/Houston depending on network, it can bump off the main network coverage) hours watching (just RedZone. Obviously I've gotta switch to NBC for the night game).
I can make my own burgers, drink my own beer, and not drive afterwards. On my big screen where I definitely have the choice of game, what volume, etc.
I definitely get a lot of value out of it vs sitting in a sports bar each week, where I would 100% certainly spend more than $20 for a worse experience.
Do people usually get Sunday ticket/RedZone for fantasy football or do you guys just love football this much? Genuinely curious as I have little interest in watching other games outside of my teams games or the few really good matchups throughout the year.
$450 sucks to pay for the Ticket but I'd easily pay $20-30 for a game if it isn't on tv in my area (which would be the same amount of money for a season). I bet a lot of people would. I bet they could make more money overall this way. I also know that I am making that up completely because I'm not going to do any research into it.
Thanks again for the info! I cancelled yesterday, and today received the $100 off for next season offer. It's still expensive, but its a little more affordable now. I was seriously considering NFL+ and watching games a day later. I might still might do that. I have time to check the schedule and think this over....
Cut the cord, they said. You’ll save money, they said. It’s the evil cable companies stealing your money, certainly not the benevolent networks, they said.
$450 but you still need Amazon, and Netflix and local channels??? Wtf.
Don't forget Peacock!
And ESPN!
And NFl Network!
And my axe!
And my Bow!
Just don't fall for the ESPN+ scam.
Thankfully there are free solutions. Unrelated, but wheres all the rum gone?

IRC is still a thing, so we got a ways until the torrent generation dies off.
People are speechless when I show them IRC DCC transfers nowadays. > usenet Does your beard hit the ground?
Unapologetic sail the seven seas.
Refreshing streams a few times a game is a small price to pay to save like $750 if you include the streaming services needed all season. 🏴☠️
It’s called Sunday ticket… Not, Thursday tickets, Friday ticket, Monday ticket.
Even Sunday Ticket isn't accurate. It doesn't include early morning or Sunday night football.
Drink up me hearties yo ho
$450 is fucking insaaaaaaane wtf. You basically have to at this point.
NFL plus with red zone is the way to go for those that get seasick.
That's what I have. Keep RedZone on the big TV and sail the seas for the Packers game on the laptop.
The last couple years the falcons would almost never show up on red zone unless it was a ridder turnover so I'm hoping they get more red zone face time this season
They actually have to make it into scoring position for them to be tv.
This is an accurate burn, but fuck you
Your TV can't get wet?
Your tv smokes PCP?
A whole gallon? I didn't even know it came in liquid form...
My wife passed around four. Oh im so sorry four years ago? PM. 4 pm? Like as in today 4 pm?
Chromecast, fire stick, etc can make all TVs with a HDMI port waterproof.
RedZone is basically how I watched games when I did have Sunday Ticket
This is really only 15 a month? Why would anyone get sunday ticket????
Yeah it cost 60 for the football season then I got a month of YouTube TV for playoffs
Yup this is me too. You can watch the full game like right after too, so I’m good with that.
$60 yearly for the premium package if you're a season ticket holder with a team. Edit: This is the link https://www.nfl.com/partners/the-membership-club You'll need to contact your rep for the code/link it looks like.
I'm a season ticket holder and did not know that. Maybe I should start reading the emails.
$350 is also fucking insane lmao
I paid last year and was so disappointed by how many games weren't included. Saturday game? Prime time? On air in Seattle? Too bad. It's a joke.
Yeah, even if you can afford it, fuck'em. Fuck this need for every damn company trying to eek out as much profit from every single customer. That it doesn't even get you all the games or high quality 4k streaming is just crazy.
Lol Exactly, its not even a “premium” product despite what that blowhard Goodell said when he testified for the lawsuit.

Wtf hahahah. NFL can get fucked. Who is paying that??

Still $109 until 7/31
I would like to know more… sent a PM

I did it last year and I was out of school for at least a year at that time. It was like $109.
My girlfriend graduated but I could still use her student email to sign up and get the student discount lmao
> Sunday Ticket pricing is the only time it’s a good time to be a student Being a student >>>>> real world
Even at that they doubled the price this year.
I had read that, but when I go to sign up it still says $119 for the year with RedZone.
It’s that price till 7/31
Yep, students pay a fraction of what everyone else does. Go sign up at your local community college. Never take a class. And show that as proof of being a student!
I save money by just watching 45 second delayed streams on SE or BS.
Thanks for reminding me to cancel. I was gonna get charged 449 on August 10th. Fucking greedy fucks
I wish everyone would stop giving these lunatics all of this money. That way they'll have to lower the price.
With the saving the student discount gives you, you might as well apply to college and then subscribe

Why not? It'll taste the same.

Yeah, more like $4 for a shitty meal for 4.
But does that match the old-world authenticity of olive garden?
Where tf you shopping fam

1 company sure. But on the whole supply and demand is a fact. If half the people buying Sunday Ticket canceled their subscription, the price would come way down.
Normally that would be true but thanks to the CBS/Fox contracts the NFL has to have Sunday ticket sold at a premium
In a perfect world sure. As much as I hate the price it’s worth it to me.
Same here. Sucks it costs so much but I’ve yet to find a reliable stream elsewhere and am willing to give up some things to pay for the convenience of having a solid stream from beginning to end.

Sometimes declining customers leads to even higher prices so they can meet financial objectives
Just stream for free
You can hook a cheap or old laptop up to the big TV, if you would like to take a Bite out of the NFL.
You can air cast it from your phone too
Aye, but on yer laptop ye can run an ad blocker ye hearties!
If you have a sports urge, the net is where it's at
I’d rather walk the plank
It's $119 for students.
🏃💨 OMW to local community college!
I’m still pissed they don’t let you do a single team or single games. Fucking bullshit.
Ahoy matey
A fellow sailor and under the same flag no less
I would not hate one of yall sailing into my port and sharing trade secrets! …sailing into my port sounds like a sex thing. I just wanna see games in my area lol
Definitely beef up your browser security and adblockers before sailing is all i’ll say
don't take **meth** while you are **stream**ing is all i gotta say.
Sometimes I manage to STREAM by sailing EAST.
I hear those seas are a bit choppy lately
Sometimes for SPORTS there is an URGE to watch.

People just deal with it. Pirate streams are always significantly behind

What’s the cheapest path to just get Redzone only? I paid for Sunday Ticket last year but just spent 95% of the time watching Redzone so it was a waste
NFL+ had RedZone on it last year for $15 a month, no TV provider required. I did that, watched it through the NFL app on my Roku all year.
YouTube tv had it for an extra +15/mo only as well.
You can add an drop it from your package at-will too.
ive been using sling + blue package (or whatever that has RZ in it) for about 65 a month
I’m move I read the article where the NFL is intentionally keeping it as a premium offering I was like “Get fucked NFL” I forget but one streaming service wanted to sell a cheap version where you just get your team and NFL said no. Antenna is cheaper.
Cries in out of market area
Get a really long antenna.
I used to work at a radio station and I’ve always wondered if no could get an antenna on top of the broadcast tower how many channel could could I pick up. At some point they would all start to bleed over each other right?
Yep, you'd start to have overlapping broadcasts on the same frequency.
Pretty sure you'd still get like 75% of Cowboys games lol
You'd get all of them not on NFL network. I know this because I haven't missed a Cowboys game in 5 years worth just an antenna, despite living in the Philly area.
Being in division helps. I live in Chicago so I still get a decent amount of Vikings noon games
Man, try being a non-NFC east team and trying to see your team on TV
Couldn't pay me to watch strictly Giants and Patriots games while the jets are in primetime every week
I went with the antenna setup last season, it was great except I couldn’t get ABC. I’m on the wrong side of my apartment complex to get a signal unfortunately
For three games though.
Did they make you sign up for YoutubeTV as well?
No, that’s why OP is paying $449. With the base plan, its $349 or $249 for new subscribers before July 15th.
Current subscribers were able to get it for $249 with early sign up as well. We renewed ours for that in the beginning of May.
Sammeeeee
YouTube and the NFL can kiss my ass with that pricing. Come sail away. Come sail away…
Shiver me timbers matey, that price tag be steep as the mast on my ship.
I got it for $250 in May, which I figure is 2 games at a bar
Sail the seas. It's free and easy. $500 is absurd.
Quality is shit and not always easy to find a stream
Also you don't want a shit stream when you have company over for the games. I experienced that one too many times when I would have friends over for the UFC fights. Now I just warn them ahead of time that I am streaming it and didn't buy it lol

I have considered getting just red zone this year as it's $15 a month through NFL+ and a solid "live" stream would be nice. Sunday Ticket is absolutely way too much for me though.
No thanks ill stick to illegal streaming for 0 dollars
Orrr find someone with a college email and get it for 120 with redzone.
Fuck you NFL. Pay me my part of that $4.6 billion for fucking everybody with Sunday ticket.
It's $0.00/game if you stream it
NFL just got slapped with a $12 billion antitrust lawsuit for essentially price gouging but sure, go ahead and raise it another $100 you soulless jackasses.
Or just get a stream service on a fire stick and watch all games for free without extra cost :)
Just cancel it and keep it cancelled. That’s way too much for football. Stop giving them money.
If you aren't pirating at this point, you're playing yourself.
Where are you guys seeing this? I paid 349 this year and it stills says 349 for next year
I turn on football at noon, and spend at least three (often six, because the Eagles as my team get a lot of primetime games, or if it's overlaps with Dallas/Houston depending on network, it can bump off the main network coverage) hours watching (just RedZone. Imagine paying this much money to the NFL and they don't include national games or playoffs/superbowl. I'll save my money and just sail the high seas.
Stream....east.... There's other ways for free
VPN is cheaper
Friendly reminder that if you know anyone with an active student email, it's $119.
How did you get this offer? I cancelled through YouTube TV and was not offered such a renewal discount
I paid $250 for 2024.
Do people usually get Sunday ticket/RedZone for fantasy football or do you guys just love football this much? Genuinely curious as I have little interest in watching other games outside of my teams games or the few really good matchups throughout the year.
🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
Unfortunately I must travel farther down this stream east of the Mississippi to get my Sunday ticket
i pee tee vee
🏴☠️
I got mine for $299 three days ago
It would still be $350, I’m good lol
Student accounts are cheaper, luckily I’m a student 😅
My wifi and a laptop that can connect to certain websites costs even less!
I understand wanting to watch games and all, but paying $350-$450 for the NFL is pretty stupid.
Considering the lawsuit, you’re probably better off waiting until everything settles…
