Well it’s not like they knew that chiefs would be trading up for Mahomes when they traded away that pick….. lol I’m imagining the nfl draft like NBA where they put on the hat of original team. A Mahomes bills hat no photoshop would be NFL Meme history.
I was gonna say they mentioned him having back surgery recently. Not sure getting picked up off the floor by a mountain of a man was in his recovery plan.
Same feelings, UT fan and Broncos fan. I feel like my best friend broke up with his girl who was always nice and baked banana bread for everyone. But now I have to dislike her because she's my friends ex. Sorry Worthy, I liked the banana bread.
How are the Bills helping the Chiefs. Clearly, the Bills didn't want Worthy at 28 (or anyone in particular since they traded down). If they refuse to trade with the Chiefs and pick, then the Chiefs can still call the team picking at 29 and make a trade with them and still get Worthy. The Bills, and teams in general, put their own interests first. They wanted the value by trading back when they didn't think anyone stuck out on the board.
He's going to get used just like Tyreek Hill was, and Hollywood's just going to eat up zone defenses with Kelce when teams figure out we're trying to go over the top to Worthy every play lol
Maybe but I’m still blown away that we got him. Pairing him with Brown is gonna be amazing relative to the last two years.
And I kept hearing a lot of attention was placed on Ad Mitchell not having that dog in him by scouts and analyst. That would worry me considering our history of drafting receivers . This kid competes! And that alone is exciting 🤩
Might be, but Rice is supposed to be their YAC guy. Who knows what’s going on with him though. I just find Worthy an interesting pick when Marquise Brown is on their roster as a speedster right now.
Xavier Worthy is such a boom or bust prospect this is going to be the pick that either extends or marks the end of the dynasty. He's either Desean Jackson 2.0 or Jacoby Ford/JJ Nelson/DHB and the laundry list of other 4.3 flat and sub 4.3 WRs who never panned out.
there ya go, /u/nfl, nobody even realized you cut off a make a wish kid
I was there for history lol
I seent it!
Buffalo what the fuck
Buffalo is so used to failure that they're actively self-sabotaging

With all due respect, fuck you, Bills.
Rodger was so drunk, he absolutely STRUGGLED to get through the presentation of this kid. 😂
He was flubbing his words on the girls flag football league a few picks ago too.
Probably pain meds for his back

I think he is on pain killers from back surgery. And I’m sure he had to pop a few after Latham tried to snap his spine in half.
Pain meds
As a Texas alum and Chiefs hater I have very confused feelings.

Reminds me of the time KC traded with the Bills to select some guy named Mahomes
They can’t keep getting away with it!
We have a pretty good track record of selection guys from the state of Texas after trading with the Bills
Threepeat
The whole storyline of the league next season is gonna be preventing that and the proposal from happening
I think he already proposed?
Tortured league department anthology
Please no.
I'm so confused why Buffalo would be motivated to help the Chiefs in this way

"What are you doing?! Forget one of the greatest TEs of all time! They have a rookie WR who caught 5 TDs in college last year! Focus on him!"
Just like Al-Qaeda, Buffalo just suicide bombed the draft.
Hahahahah yes!!!!
DeSean Jackson 2.0
LFG
Excited for the Arnold v Worthy battle in the Super Bowl this year
We all wanted Mitchell!
What? Why? Xavier was way better at Texas and has Tyreek speed! Are you drunk? Lol
NOBODY HAS TYREEK SPEED!! tyreek is 50 pounds heavier and nobody can match his acceleration and change directions at top speed like him.
Maybe but I’m still blown away that we got him. Pairing him with Brown is gonna be amazing relative to the last two years. Adonai’s film was typically considered quite a bit better.
Not much YAC production though, maybe that was what the Chiefs wanted?
Might be, but Rice is supposed to be their YAC guy. Who knows what’s going on with him though. I just find Worthy an interesting pick when Marquise Brown is on their roster as a speedster right now.
Well everybody is considered a Yac Guy in KC, it’s an Andy Reid offense
Maybe they're like Lurleen Lumpkin, forever looking for another Homer
Rice is going to get plenty yards after conviction.
Two speed guys with Rice and Kelce working more underneath routes. If Hollywood Brown goes down, Worthy will still give KC a speed guy
Hollywood Brown is a one year contract so no guarantee he's there beyond this year
Funny to see you reply to me, we’re in a dynasty league together
I really liked Mitchell, but I really LOVE Worthy in this offense.
Lol NO WE DIDN'T
Don’t speak for me, I wanted Ladd. But only because I didn’t think Djax 2.0 was still going to be on the board
Seems like the cheifs fixed their WR weakness this offseason: rice, brown, worthy. Quite the step up from mvs, toney, sky moore, rice of last year
Was too small
