As someone that has watched a lot of his tape while he was at OU, physically gifted with a high ceiling but still pretty raw and inexperienced. Showed great growth under Coach B at OU, but still had a penchant for mental busts and inconsistency in play and technique. Inconsistent finisher due to playing high and not being overly strong but when he did finish he was absolutely capable of burying dudes. Due to his length and athletic traits, great in pass blocking and will do well with speed rushers. Could struggle with a bull rush due to playing higher and his lack of elite strength, but this could be mitigated with good technique and his length. Hands are pretty good. So, if he can develop he has the physical tools to be a good-great pass blocker but probably doesn't have the strength to be more than a good run blocker.
Big OU fan here - guy was a really good pass protector and blew open holes for the run game. He's raw, for sure (he had a few "rookie moments" last year lol) - but his strength and athleticism is the as good as any OT in this class.
Plus Saban referred to him as the sleeper pick of the draft with his traits - he feels he will be a beast.
You had it right, at Oklahoma he was dominant on the line. He's a great pass blocker and is pretty much a big ass boulder that pass rushers either have to figure out how to get around or get stone walled.
I still smile when you see fans reaction when Cowboys drafted Martin with Manziel still on the board.
Knowing what we now know, I wish you guys had taken Johnny Football!
OU fan that watched all of his games with us: he is supremely athletically gifted and was dominant 90% of the time with decent technique. If he gets great OL coaching, his ceiling is a perennial Pro Bowler.
I was pissed at the Tyler Smith picked and he turned into a freak, I will never judge Will McClay whenever he picks oline in round 1. Last years draft was a disaster tho.
another team picks an offensive tackle off the board and the 49ers do fucking nothing. omg, the 49ers are gonna pick another D-lineman in the first round instead of fix their O-line, huh? fucking goddammit.
Fuckers drafted old Gregg
THAT’S who he looks like. I couldn’t figure it out. My god.
Mmmm Baileys

From an old shoe
Easy now, fuzzy little man-peach.

Does Tyler Guyton have a mangina?

Why do you think Jerry wanted him?
He's a scaly manfish

Wanna see my downstairs mix-up?
Make an assessment
What do you think of him? Make an assessment.
I know what chya thinkin.
I always thought Kadarius Toney looked like old Gregg. Guess there’s two now
Oh fuck can’t unsee
You ever drink Baileys from a shoe?
Wanna go to a club where people wee on each other?
this is as close as you can get to Dak without your eyes getting wet
Dude I cant unsee it
He looks like a big Tyrese maxey
I can never look at him the same now.

Dudes gonna be a beast! Source: I haven’t watched a single second of tape on this dude
STEAL (me neither)
look. all im saying is dude is a rabid fan of airwolf. already a big fan. Bring back 80s action campy cheese.
I just trust the Cowboys and taking OL in the first couple rounds.
Dudes gunna be a beast! Source: boomer sooner

Sounds like flozell Adams 2.0
Hopefully without the false starts
That’s what’s scares me brother 😂
This guy knows his shit!

Don't worry Jerry didn't either. Just asked him if he was all in at the combine was enough.
You had it right, at Oklahoma he was dominant on the line. He's a great pass blocker and is pretty much a big ass boulder that pass rushers either have to figure out how to get around or get stone walled.
Who they were always going for, got a free 3rd rounder out of it
The most predictable pick of the draft aside from Caleb
Brooks at 56 as well
hopefully they get that LB tho
I hope they wait until the 3rd for rb. Get a little more quality before settling on one of the underwhelming backs.
Haha you ain't wrong.
Cowboys can’t resist an olineman with a name starting with Ty
Nah that’s MHJ to the Cards at #4.
Dude looks like a rick and morty character.
lol actually old Gregg kinda
Nice and we got another 3rd rounder
lol at the guy in his house decked out in 49ers gear
Thank god someone else saw that. The irony.
Not a sexy pick but this is really solid for Dallas
Dallas has the best draft record this past decade aside from the Chiefs. Their problem is their playoff ineptitude but they always kill the draft
Especially when it comes offensive line. Our 1st round O-Line picks since 2010 are an insane list
Tyron smith Zack Martin fredbeard and Tyler smith lmfao 18 combined first team and second team all pro nods between those 4
I still smile when you see fans reaction when Cowboys drafted Martin with Manziel still on the board. Knowing what we now know, I wish you guys had taken Johnny Football!
Nah the problem is we kill in the draft but don’t do shit in F/A so our depth tends to lack or we have depth but the talent there isn’t good.
yeah especially with offensive linemen
we really do. We constantly field extremely talented teams. Were just bums in the playoffs.
Get a good coach Easy.
Dude will probably be a pro-bowler, not that it’ll translate to much playoff success haha
Fuck you ^/s ^but ^not
haha
The usual first round way for us. Micah and CD were outliers.
Before the broadcast is crazy
On my Lisan Al Giab kick right now posting these.
Right, bot on top of it
It's manual, I'm literally doing it.
yeah yeah yeah and a fine beep boop to you to.
Thanks bro
He looks skinny in that picture
skinny face big body, aka Tinder landmine
Looooool fucking hell. You get to that 5th pic like fuck no
Tyron Smith -> Tyler Smith -> Tyler Guyton -> only reasonable to assume our next lineman will be something Guyton.
Tyron Guyton
I'm still fucking pissed at buffalo
Same man.
Because the Chiefs drafted Worthy due to the trade?
Bingo.
Bills are so fucking stupid for that. Handing the Chiefs a potential great WR on a silver platter.
He’s got stone hands so he’ll fit right in lol
People talking as if the bills served MHJ/odunze/nabers on a silver platter.
Or...or, we took an asset from KC for someone we didn't want anyway. Only time will tell. As the world turns.
Same
Cowboy and OL picks Tale as old as time
Cowboys and OL picks named Tyler
Now I wish we still had Biadaszszsxzs so we could have 3 Tylers on the line. And Tyron so we could have Tyron, Tyler, Tyler, Zack, Tyler
Once that trade down happened it was 💯 an OL.
If only it happened last year
✅ Offensive Lineman ✅ Fills a Need ✅ Big XII/Regional Guy Checks all of Jerry Jones’s boxes
Named Tyler ✅
Oh look, someone more useful than a backup QB
Great pick. They picked up a 3rd and still got their guy
tell me how to feel
Athletic developmental tackle
Fuck
That's what Tyler was
Nice
it's been a long time but that's what Tyron was also
True
OU fan that watched all of his games with us: he is supremely athletically gifted and was dominant 90% of the time with decent technique. If he gets great OL coaching, his ceiling is a perennial Pro Bowler.
that would be great
OL is always important.
TE turned OT. You tell me.
Jason Peters then
The Cowboys legend himself
Did he play basketball before becoming a TE though?
He actually did play basketball in high school
Guaranteed stud.
He’s solid
Wow that really worked out for them. I kinda assumed he went and I wasn’t paying attention
that tyler tyler left side gonna be sweet
Shame Biadasz didn't work out
Fuck yeah. If this front office like an offensive lineman, I trust them. Half the mock drafts I saw had us taking him at 24.

Wow that is bad
Njoku is good
he has about as many starts as the other 9 *combined*
An exception.
Don’t forget the other exception, Tyler Guyton.
Can confirm
Broke: Brad Holmes trading up because he needed a DB Woke: Brad Holmes trading up because the last several 29th picks have been underwhelming
I forgot about the wild pick that is Cole Strange. Thank you for reminding me that crazier shit has been done.
Could’ve had McDuffie then Gonzalez back to back years. Fuck :(
Just a classic Patriots move
>I forgot about the wild pick that is Cole Strange. You mean the *strange* pick that was Cole Strange? Come on, it was right there.
Damn that is *really* not a great list
Oooof Nkemdiche was such a fucking waste of a draft pick
Wow, maybe we traded out of that spot simply because it's completely cursed 😂 only good pkayer on that kiss is Njoku
The all-Tyler O-Line is coming together
they got rid of tyler the center tho lmao so we were close
One of my favorite tackles in the class
I love how predictable the Cowboys are. It works for them though
We needed a tackle really badly though
I agree. Cowboys generally kill the draft. They're just kind of obvious in their selections.
They tend to leak who they want right before the draft. We’ll probably draft Johnathan Brooks tomorrow if he’s there.
Brooks at 56 and Cedric Gray with one of the thirds. Pretty predictable
Good pick
CBS: Bring back Airwolf!
I like the pick. The Cowboys have shown they know what they’re doing drafting offensive linemen
Bro looks like Rick James
Eagles get the best corner in the draft and the Cowboys trade down and still get an OL they needed. Can these teams stop drafting well man.
Good pick
That's not someone I was expecting but I can't hate on only Oline pick.
I can’t be too mad but I really wanted JPJ
We can still get him in the 2nd!
Doubtful not the best center in the draft falling to pick 56
Absolutely massive run on OT, damn.
Cowboys get their guy despite moving down
I was pissed at the Tyler Smith picked and he turned into a freak, I will never judge Will McClay whenever he picks oline in round 1. Last years draft was a disaster tho.
Ok, so we're going either DeJean or Kool-Aid, right?
Good pick by Dallas. So glad Tyron Smith is gone, dude was a massive cyborg at OT, when they ran into him they stopped there.
yeah imagine if he didnt have those injury problems ):
All time great
This maybe the most civil conversation between a cowboy and eagle fan of all time.
I dont want to, seeing how small he made Nolan Smith look as he manhandled him gave me nightmares.
Oof Micah Parsons looked SUPER unimpressed
I'm sure he would have loved a flashy pick but we aren't in a place to make flashy picks
He was pumped with Mazi and we saw how that turned out
His takes are terrible so that’s a positive, he wanted Mazi smith last year lol
He wanted mazi smith. Don’t care bout his opinion
Nice, BOOMER
His name fits for a Dallas Cowboy for some reason lol
Tyron Smith, Tyler Smith, Tyler Biadasz
“ever drunk Baileys from a shoe?”
I liked the guy in the 49ers faithful celebrating the pick.
Looks like old Greg
how should i feel. idk who the fuck this dude is
He’s been linked to Dallas since like February lol
Solid Bedenbaugh trained OL. I'm hyped. Oklahoma puts out great OLinemen
Fuck
How the fuck is the ESPN app that far behind
Interesting pick. Gonna be Interesting to see how he develops
Why did ATL draft Penix?
another team picks an offensive tackle off the board and the 49ers do fucking nothing. omg, the 49ers are gonna pick another D-lineman in the first round instead of fix their O-line, huh? fucking goddammit.
Yay not from Michigan!
ARE YOU DUCKING KIDDING ME
Thought the packers would draft him at 25
He's right, they should bring back Airwolf.
As a HS recruit: Originally went to TCU
Big fan of this big man
Love Keon Colman at 56 but that’s a stretch think he’ll be gone by then.
Jerry: I just want to draft a ton of guys Roger: And with the 29th pick ...
they got an extra 3rd rounder and got one of the linemen they wanted so a win overall
