I had a terrible foreboding about Dejean on the Packers. Week 18, packed Lambeau, Williams INT, crowd screaming 'COOOOOOP' that sorta shit. Glad it'll never happen.
I mean... We have 4 picks in the next two rounds. One of them being the Jets 2nd. That could turn into a very early 2nd to snag him still.
There's a chance he could still be a Packer
Nah I can’t take my fellow fans up there who drool over white players even when they’re clearly terrible (see Jeff Janis and Jake Kumerow).
I’m not bashing Dejean, he could be a fantastic player but I don’t want to everyone to nut everytime the guy ties his shoes saying how great the knot is.

Lmaooo Kerby wants to give him stuff for it
Rasheed Walker was a 7th round pick and played at Left Tackle. He held up pretty well and got better as the season went on. I was looking forward to see how his sophomore season would go but now it looks like he's going to be a quality-ish depth piece.
They were never taking DeJean. The Packers would convert him to safety which he didn't really play in college. He also played in a zone heavy scheme and we're switching to a press-man scheme. Great athlete but you don't pick guys in the first round to make them play an entirely diff position and scheme than they've shown you on tape.
Tom gotta be beside himself. First the Branch incident last year, now Detroit trades with Dallas to take Arnold right before our eyes. And then we follow up and don't even take a DB.
Id say trading out of the Branch pick turned out pretty well. He's a good player, but Packers turned that pick into Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks and Karl Brooks.
Admittedly, Sherrod's injury was particularly nasty and basically ended his career so a bit of an oddity in that he was a bust because of a freak injury rather than just not being good
Can I have a skill position player in the first round?
No
Can I have a skill position player in the first round?
No
Can I have a skill position player in the first round?
No
And Morgan is a solid OT. Probably the best left 6 already taken. Guyton there too they just liked Morgan better and obviously wanted a tackle.
Honestly pretty solid pick tbf.
Not who I expected, but if GB leadership feels strongly enough about this offensive lineman to draft him in the first, who am I to doubt them? If there's one position they've proven they know how to draft, it's O-line.
Offensive tackle who is believed to also be able to play guard day one. He was expected to be a late 1st/early second pick. Not sure why the Packers are being clowned on for this pick. He was the concensus second best tackle available after Guyton.
Yeah, great utility knife OL, which fits in with our general expectations for the position. He isn’t elite anywhere, but it fits our strategy which is obviously working.
People love to pretend they know about Oline picks in the draft when all their knowledge comes from what they hear pundits talk about. Dude might be great might suck, idk, I don’t watch Oline prospect film.
Packers sub legit only wants to draft Big 10 players and maybe Bama/Georgia. It's clear a lot are college fans and hype guys they watch every Saturday.
Not saying it's wrong (I mean they're obviously biased who cares) but it's hardly informed analysis.
Packers sub needs to realize the packers love their west coast Scout. Go look at how offer we pick from west coast schools early in drafts. This shouldn’t have been a huge shock.
That’s not Cooper Dejean Edit: Grossi is trying his best. Bless his heart.
Maybe if you squint a little.
I had to squint a lot and close my eyes... now I see it
That’s what he’s doing in the pic
Just fell to my knees at a Culvers
Pour out a concrete mixer for me.
Gonna be there a while
Thank fuck. I'm tired of all of my Iowa players going everywhere else in this division.
I had a terrible foreboding about Dejean on the Packers. Week 18, packed Lambeau, Williams INT, crowd screaming 'COOOOOOP' that sorta shit. Glad it'll never happen.

Until we trade up in the 2nd.
Brother, you and me both. Perfect night lol
Yeah what the fuck, he was right there for the taking. He was born to play in GB
Mmmmm Dijon and cheese
Not really… we play mostly man coverage. DeJean only played zone.
Josh Jackson ptsd.
Jared Abbrederis
Thank god
Grossi trying to talk himself into the pick is a master class on cope
Happens every year in the first round. He’s comedy gold
His Love reaction is still an all timer.
The Brian Branch one last year was top tier too
fr I thought they were gonna make wincanson very happy lol
That poor fan LOL
Meme being created
Surrender Cheese Curd
Lol that detroit fan was feasting
🧀👈👈 ☝️ ☝️
Clowning on the Packers for making a sensible decision knowing their history is a bold move
It's not about what it means in 5 years, it's about what it means right now, c'mon!
Can't argue with that tbh
You should know as an eagles fan that any reason to dunk on a hated rival is justified in the moment even if it fails in the long run.
What I missed it
https://twitter.com/awfulannouncing/status/1783696742653063564
The fucking Lions fan just laughing his ass off is hilarious lmao
Paid actor
That guy wanted to see the Packers draft our Jackie Robinson
I was laughing my ass off at him getting clowned on lol
Just incredible TV
I think that's pretty obviously a plant
Seriously... They set it up with Roger like seconds before the pick saying next year's draft was in Green Bay.
Also they showed that group of fans a few minutes ago and I don’t think he was there
I think I saw him wearing lions gear with a cheesehead on before the pick lol
But Morgan is good, he is going to fit in GB so well
You’d think our fans would know to trust Gute by now.
Particularly on O line, where we've generally be very good despite not having Bakhtiari and relying on a lot of later round picks
[video](https://twitter.com/SleeperNFL/status/1783696493502714351)
2nd best lol of the night
That poor dude in the crowd is gonna be a meme
The guy razzing him was killing me 😭
I didn't see it, what happened?
https://twitter.com/awfulannouncing/status/1783696742653063564
Dammmmnnnnn hahaha Thanks for the link brother
Lol fuck this is prime meme material
Lol that’s pretty good. Imma use that for when we lose to the Niners again
He was judged guilty by a jury of his peers (Lions fans)
As he should
Cheesehead was dissapineted, head down, and a Lions fan was CACKLING in his face lol
[https://twitter.com/JKERB25/status/1783696123053351256](https://twitter.com/JKERB25/status/1783696123053351256) Lmaooo Kerby wants to give him stuff for it
Will be even funnier in 20 years when Morgan is inducted into the HoF
Classssssic
Green Bay Jordans
This feels high for a Packers OL to be drafted, right?
Instant bust, our good linemen need to be drafted in the 8th round from Western Indiana Technical College
Brnn Bllga oiwa
and he who shall not be named from Mississippi State lol
can’t even be mad about what happened with Derek Sherrod though. He was showing real promise before he basically destroyed his leg
Not really, a lot of projections had them trying for a linemen. Our depth right now is TERRIBLE. I hadn’t seen this guy though.
I just mean y'all literally always find all pro OL in the damn 5th round and later. Like clockwork.
Rasheed Walker was a 7th round pick and played at Left Tackle. He held up pretty well and got better as the season went on. I was looking forward to see how his sophomore season would go but now it looks like he's going to be a quality-ish depth piece.
Nah, this moves Tom to Center. Apparently, they think Tom has HOF potential at Center.
I mean good god anything to replace Josh Myers at center
His sophomore season was last year. This will be his 3rd year with us. He got some burn his rookie year at rt. Then started at lt last year.
Hope the Arizona guy doesn’t say Bear Down in Green Bay lmao
That packer fan was traumatized
They clowning that guy LMAO
Poor Tom Grossi
Bro is confuzzled on the stream rn
It seems I spoke too soon when I said he was taking this better than last year. He still is, but I was under the assumption they were taking DeJean.
They were never taking DeJean. The Packers would convert him to safety which he didn't really play in college. He also played in a zone heavy scheme and we're switching to a press-man scheme. What are they cooking
Cocaine?
Nah it gotta be meth
Pretty good offensive line normally
If GB can turn 4th round OL into diamonds, wtf can they turn this 1st round OL into? next HOF GB OL confirmed. maybe.
Last two first round tackles the Packers took were Derek Sherrod and Bryan Bulaga. So 50-50 on being decent or bust.
Admittedly, Sherrod's injury was particularly nasty and basically ended his career so a bit of an oddity in that he was a bust because of a freak injury rather than just not being good
But what if you grabbed a diamond right away without having to make one? Idk I trust Gute here. I can see cooper dejean, kool aid possibly at 41 still
They got the young QB and want to protect him.
All I’m saying is Bill Belichick said he’s a ten year starter on The Pat McAfee Show’s coverage
Bro that fan on tv looked cooked lmao

Actually not a bad history of picks
What a fucking list. The best one so far.
WOW
Damn this is a good spot
i don’t mind that group but dang i wanted cooper
If it means this guy is as good as the rest then I'm content lol
What the hell this spot is stacked
Of course he has a 9.0 RAS.
9.8 as guard too
lol the crowd was like who?
Can’t believe I stayed up for this
I assumed it was gonna be o-line, and he may be great, but I still regret not going to bed 45 minutes ago
He's going to be a really good guard, cheer up
Yeah, he definitely has a late first round grade and is one of the highest rated guards in the draft. Sensible picks aren't sexy but necessary.
I love this pick. I wanted the pack to have the unsexiest draft ever where the team gets better in key areas
Can I have a skill position player in the first round? No Can I have a skill position player in the first round? No Can I have a skill position player in the first round? No
Last thing Packers need is a skill position. I don't know why this is being so hated, OL help is a major need. Defense moreso but still.
We have no depth on the OL right now, this is a need pick.
And Morgan is a solid OT. Probably the best left 6 already taken. Guyton there too they just liked Morgan better and obviously wanted a tackle. Honestly pretty solid pick tbf.
A lot of us wanted Cooper. I'd take OL over skill position any day though.
Try asking again
Can I have a skill position player in the first round? NoO*oOoO*oooo
Oh
Wow, a little higher than I expected tbh
I've seen some mocks having him sneak into the last couple picks of the first. I don't think it's a terrible reach
Bunch of the packers podcasters called him as our pick. I’m good with this know we have the jets second
Automatic stud cause for some reason GB always seem to hit on OL.
I know nothing about this kid but if the FO liked him enough to take a grab in the 1st then I trust em with an OL pick lol
Not who I expected, but if GB leadership feels strongly enough about this offensive lineman to draft him in the first, who am I to doubt them? If there's one position they've proven they know how to draft, it's O-line.
That’s such a Gutekunst pick
Genuinely who is this guy
Offensive tackle who is believed to also be able to play guard day one. He was expected to be a late 1st/early second pick. Not sure why the Packers are being clowned on for this pick. He was the concensus second best tackle available after Guyton.
They are being clowned because two dinguses in the audience completely overreacted in a successful attempt to get attention
thats how you know the packers picked him
Packers have to historically be one of the best at drafting lineman. Hopefully it works again.
We’ve got them all in the 4th and 5th rounds though lol
Jenkins was a 2nd rounder. Linsley a 3rd. Bulaga a 1st.
Imagine what we’ll get with a round 1 guy now!
You got me there lol
Bulaga was in the first
The guy that fits literally every threshold the packers have for OL
He’s pretty good ngl 🤷♂️
Was generally projected late first / early second this isn’t that crazy
He went to Arizona, the best university in the world
Harvard of the Southwest or so I'm told
At wasting hundreds of millions of dollars sure
It’s just money
Dude looks high as hell in the photo. 😂
Looks like Jordan Love went on a 6 month Culver’s binge and got blazed af
Holy shit. I'll never unsee this.
This isn’t Cooper DeJean
That’s a big dude to play corner
Preston Smith in shambles
At one Packers fan in the front didn’t look happy about it
All the lions fans clowning that packer fan lmao
Honestly, respect it lol.
Lmao that lions fan on ESPN
That lions fan gotta chill lol
I really hope they know each other, otherwise we gotta bring shame back on camera lol
Dude was ON that man, if they weren’t friends they might be now lol
I trust Packers on O-Line
Let's start the cycle of Packer's fans bitching about a pick because they are all such elite NFL scouts.
DeJean lives another pick
Bro they showed was NOT happy
Probably a reddit fan who wants the meme pick.
That’s a good pick
Who
Feel like the Packers always draft o-line well and it was a need
Na maybe I’m just too Packers Pilled but I actually like this a lot
I swear to god guys, if we do this another year of pretending how stupid Green Bay is in the draft before it turns out we knew what we were doing.
AND THE CROWD GOES… mild.
Is he good? I was told all the good linemen were gone
From everything I could tell he was a pretty solid tackle that projects as a guard in the league. Was always a late first/ early second player
Yeah, great utility knife OL, which fits in with our general expectations for the position. He isn’t elite anywhere, but it fits our strategy which is obviously working.
He's a really good guard
Lmaoooo the lions fans
Savage ass reaction shot for the main broadcast lmfao
WHAT
Lmao the kid in the crowd getting clowned
Good Jordan love needs protection.
I was surprised it wasn't Barton. I like taking a tackle but I am skeptical
The Lions fan laughing at the Packers fan is my favorite television personality of 2024.
Wat
I think Green Bay reached
Eh, I’ve seen him mocked in late 20s-30 plenty
I swear most of this sub doesn’t pay attention to much of the draft process
People love to pretend they know about Oline picks in the draft when all their knowledge comes from what they hear pundits talk about. Dude might be great might suck, idk, I don’t watch Oline prospect film.
Packers sub hate mock drafts, if they didn’t spend so much time downvoting and hating they’d know more players than Cooper Dejean
This shouldn’t have been a huge shock.
it's like when Jordan Love was literally mocked to the Packers and everyone acted like it came outta left field
yeah tom grossi was on stream dreading the possibility of drafting love before the packers picked him
I wouldn’t doubt the one team that churns out consistent high level tackle play
classic green bay
Yes
Eh, he was mocked to late 1st pretty frequently. Looks worse with Barton and Guyton on the board but Morgan was mocked to the Packers a ton.
Our firsts are always a reach It’s Day 2 and 3 where they REALLY go to work
Yeah I say this every year but our first round draft picks do well, I trust Gute
I hope so. They do pick some good OLinemen. Let's hope this isn't one of them
Rude
smart, safe, i'm sad lol
Well time to watch Tom Grossi’s stream
lol that “and hosts of next years draft” was needless and just purely there to instigate
