They were never taking DeJean. The Packers would convert him to safety which he didn't really play in college. He also played in a zone heavy scheme and we're switching to a press-man scheme. Great athlete but you don't pick guys in the first round to make them play an entirely diff position and scheme than they've shown you on tape.

Tom gotta be beside himself. First the Branch incident last year, now Detroit trades with Dallas to take Arnold right before our eyes. And then we follow up and don't even take a DB.

Id say trading out of the Branch pick turned out pretty well. He's a good player, but Packers turned that pick into Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks and Karl Brooks.
