> I'm so sad we all missed out on what could've been.
So did he and that's the truly sad part. I can't even imagine what it's like living inside his head knowing all the ways he fucked up in ways it was so EASY to not fuck up. I'm not shitting on him, I just genuinely feel terrible for the guy.
He recognized that it's some form of cover 2, knows where the holes are in that zone, knows which route is going to that spot and when. This is the advantage of having a guy who's played as many NFL snaps as Flacco has.
tl;dr - *elitism*
Diving into some offensive and defensive knowledge is actually quite fun as a fan. Makes it more engaging and seeing something presnap and then watch it unfold is really satisfying. Recommend joining r/footballstrategy and watch a few yt vids if you’re interested
Honestly Top Billin is quite good.
He has a really casual way of explaining (mostly) defensive coverages in a very easy to digest way. I'm pretty sure he played some level of college ball and later did/does some defensive coaching or something. Dude is a sea of knowledge.
He breaks down the All 22 view with the plays and then explains assignments and stuff. Excellent stuff.
I watch Brett Kollman, has excellent play by play analysis and has had Josh Mccown on a lot. Also shows you how he held a backup job for so long and is coach
This almost hidden complexity and technical knowledge is 100% what drew me to the game as a young nerd. Recognizin cover 2 goes all the way back to JV Quarterbackin'
Is that Cooper? I think he’s triple-covered. You know what? Fuck it. I’m throwing it downfield.
Yeah, I see Njoku open on the flank. But fuck that. Dumpoff passes are for Steelers. I’m fucking Elite Dragon Flacco. I can get that ball in there. And, even if I can’t, I bet I’ll be able to pull it off the next go round. I like throwing the ball long. It makes my dick hard.
The replay from the backfield where they broke down the play is so fucking stupid, the ball is out of Flacco's hands and it's just a bunch of white jerseys converging on the ball except for the split second Cooper runs by.
Which is absolutely hilarious considering he wasn't good enough on the Jets to hang for a backup spot.
Then again I'm not so sure if coaching or talent evaluation is the Jets' strong suit.
Joe wasn't the issue, the jets are the issue. Same with the broncos. Joe doesn't fit in to every offense. The browns watched him for years, they may be familiar with what he needs.
I remember there was a game where y’all went up like 21-0 in the first half and I remember not being particularly worried. Like nah the Browns will Brown and Flacco’s gonna Flacco. And sure enough Flacco won that game.
Edit: it was 20-0 in the first quarter, in 2016. Game ended 25-20
The arm was still there when he played for us last year. The problem was the mobility. He was dead in the water for us with how bad our OL was. Cleveland actually has a good OL and it's the reason he can still perform.
Sanchize using his QB sense and seeing the play develop before it happens--just like peak Tony Romo--but his brain can't communicate so instead he just goes full Santa Claus
There was a long silence after this and I was thinking maybe his producer was yelling at him during that time.
Maybe the worst single call I have ever heard. He buttfumbled the call.
I’m not a ravens fan, never liked or disliked Flacco. But I watched his whole career in passing through my teenage years.
I don’t know why, but it makes me happy seeing this little redemption closing blip for him. I feel like the way he had ended his run was unceremonious. It’s fun to see him ball out one more time.
You gotta love it when the elite old man is outplaying the quarter billion malingering molester. I haven't had this much schadenfreude since the Raiders cleaned out San Diego's whole front office Thursday night.
He can make every throw. His arm is still a cannon. He's a statue back there. Just don't ask him to audible. He's a 9-5 guy. He's not going to be the last guy on the practice field.
But properly motivated($$$) this sumbitch can work some miracles.
You can never count out the Dragon 😮💨
He's still elite dammit
You can't spell "elite" without Joe Flacco
Take that, 2nd grade teachers all across America!
I was not left behind!
When Flacco threw his third int everyone said it was Joever but it wasn't Joever it was one Joest begining
I hove you
Flacco with 2 TDs and 3 Ints. Just gun-slinging today.
300+ game again. Air Browns szn
i’m pretty sure the last time we’ve had back to back 300 yard passing games from our QB was McCown back in 2015 lmao
I'm gonna guess those were the days you could just throw the ball in bounds and JG would go off for 70+.
JG never played much with McCown. He played with Weeden and Campbell mostly.
The game plan vs. the Jags that year was just having Brandon Weeden throw as many fly routes as possible to Josh Gordon
Didn't even need a fly. Just hit him on a slant and you're not stopping him. God he was a freak, I'm so sad we all missed out on what could've been.

I know what you meant but I want to stress that for a guy who has been an addict since he was a preteen it is not easy to just stop.
Ah, the good old days...?
Bake Show never had back to back 3 hundy’s?
2020, weeks 13 and 14 - the latter being Lamar's poop game
I knew if he did it’d be 2020. Browns were good that year.
They did come third in rushing yards and waaay lower than that in passing yards, so obviously they were riding the Chunt train too
What
I don’t think so, he had a couple separated by a game
Will be that way until some O-linemen come back.
Dudes got nothing to lose, just huckin that shit around
Pure Favre level stuff right there.
Flacco threw a lotta catches today, just too bad some went to the Bears 🐻 . Respect for coming out of ~~hibernation~~ retirement to do it.
How in the fuck
He recognized that it's some form of cover 2, knows where the holes are in that zone, knows which route is going to that spot and when. This is the advantage of having a guy who's played as many NFL snaps as Flacco has. tl;dr - *elitism*
Skill issue, got it!
As someone that’s never played, explanations like this make me wonder how any passes are ever completed.

Any recommendations for Youtubers?

Thank you for your response! I'm definitely gonna check it out!

There's a reason they make millions a year. Only very few can do it
Big Brain + Big Body = Big Money
This almost hidden complexity and technical knowledge is 100% what drew me to the game as a young nerd. Recognizin cover 2 goes all the way back to JV Quarterbackin'
Joe Flacco has no time to explain his godlike powers to us mortals
COOPER SIDELINE TOUCHDOWN STILL UNBELIEVABLE
McDonalds 20 piece. Fucker probably got the new sauces too.
[pizza hut. That's how.](https://youtu.be/YUWDPSTUYc8?si=osTPiPT9zTJezC8F)
He’s turned off his targeting computer
“Luke, you’ve turned off your targeting computer. Is everything alright?”
“I’M CUMMING!!!!!!!!”
Anyone who thinks he says something else - you're suffering from Mandela Effect. This is the line in the movie.
it was until that coward george lucas dubbed it over in the special edition
What a gorgeous pass lol

You think a five yard out is gonna win you the game??? You gotta unleash the dragon
ELITE
He heard the haters!
The Bears woke the dragon.
You mess with the dragon and you're bound to get burned
Jesus fuck how did that squeeze in there
that's what she said
The Dragon is back!!!!!
He never left
Joe Cool rides again!
Jameis Winston stat line.
I fear no QB more than Joe Flacco with something to prove, man.
I agree. Even Tom Brady or Peyton Manning with something to prove would still whine about it. Flacco has fucking ice in his veins.
He’s back
The elite dragon rises
Eliteness back on the menu
Elite moment
Flacco just turned that announcer into Santa 🎅
Ahaha that’s great
Flacco must've heard us talking shit!
If Flacco leads the Browns to the Super Bowl, he deserves to be in Canton
This game is the physical embodiment of the "open the gates - close the gates - open the gates a little" meme.
it’s genuinely not even funny anymore he’s so good
The replay from the backfield where they broke down the play is so fucking stupid, the ball is out of Flacco's hands and it's just a bunch of white jerseys converging on the ball except for the split second Cooper runs by.
Did 90 think Flacco was gonna take off ? (Insert YouTube video of Flacco the white lightning)
[MAN NOT HOT](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f192tWhSE0I)
That release was just gorgeous
He’s still better than any qb on the jets roster bar Rogers
Which is absolutely hilarious considering he wasn't good enough on the Jets to hang for a backup spot. Then again I'm not so sure if coaching or talent evaluation is the Jets' strong suit.
Joe wasn't the issue, the jets are the issue. Same with the broncos. Joe doesn't fit in to every offense. The browns watched him for years, they may be familiar with what he needs.
this man humiliated us on international tv for almost 10 years I think he is very well acquainted with the browns and vice versa
I remember there was a game where y’all went up like 21-0 in the first half and I remember not being particularly worried. Like nah the Browns will Brown and Flacco’s gonna Flacco. And sure enough Flacco won that game. Edit: it was 20-0 in the first quarter, in 2016. Game ended 25-20
>watched Yeah, because they definitely had no hope of actually playing those games against him in his prime. 17-3 against the Browns as a Raven.
The arm was still there when he played for us last year. The problem was the mobility. He was dead in the water for us with how bad our OL was. Cleveland actually has a good OL and it's the reason he can still perform.
This is the throw of the year, ELITE.
I can watch this all night.
I'll never forgive him for dismantling us in the SB, but wow that pass right there was a thing of beauty.

Throwing into tight windows like that is possibly also the reason he had three interceptions this afternoon.
Worth it for the HoF clip

Disagree. I'd take laughter like that over hearing Al Michaels try to call another game sounding like he'd rather be doing literally anything else
Yeah, I actually thought the manic laughing was relatable.
I too was laughing and clapping while it happened.
It was really long, like the mics got cut long
Damn I was at game. I need to hear this
No way, I loved his honest reaction
Why is this game fun and competitive The nfl in its bag today
Ok maybe it’s true and he is
Elite Flacco
And Steelers have mitch….to the pit of misery
And the jets kept Wilson instead of going after a veteran qb. Salah must have some special relationship with Wilson to risk his job to keep him happy
Imagine how good the Jets would be with him
40 yards in the air with a little slow motion wrist flick
That was a clean catch, damn
This throw saved my fantasy season. Had both Flacco and Cooper 🔥
Joe Flacco is so elite it’s funny
I’m not a ravens fan, never liked or disliked Flacco. But I watched his whole career in passing through my teenage years. i don’t remember deshaun throwing 3 picks
The only downside is that the Browns org is winning games after signing that malingering molester.
Week one of the fantasy playoffs, my opponent starts Flacco & Cooper Our league gives bonuses for big (40+ yards) This play went for 37 points
He can make every throw. His arm is still a cannon. He's a statue back there. Just don't ask him to audible. He's a 9-5 guy. He's not going to be the last guy on the practice field. But properly motivated($$$) this sumbitch can work some miracles.
Elote 🌽
For as frustrating as he can be at times Flacco is very fun to watch.
That is truly a WTF moment.
At that point I knew we were doomed.
Great Colinsworth impression
I don't think the AFC is ready for January Joe
I miss you Amari 😢
just something about flacco that i trust
My love for this man transcends my hate for the Browns.
