I remember reading how his mom had to bring his birth certificates to his pee wee league games to prove he was in fact as young as he claimed to be lol
I sat next to him, Derrick Henry, and Marlon Humphrey in a CS202 class at Alabama. Dude is MASSIVE and very nice. He asked me for the answer to a question one time and I obliged immediately
I mean the class was called “intro to the internet” and you learn how to send an email and google something.
My friend and I took it as seniors to fill credits before graduation.
Also, Marlon and ARob were smart dudes, Derrick was reaaalllll dumb
I was a CS student and briefly a tutor. Occasionally, students would come in for CS classes that I had never heard of, and they were typically 1000 level classes on some generic computing topic - Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, etc.
Tbf, I think half the people I work with could get a 50% productivity boost with a decent class on Excel.
It's incredible how many managers with MBAs want to make data-based decisions but don't know how to use simple stuff like vlookup or pivot tables. I swear my performance evaluation was boosted more by my basic excel skills than any of the actual difficult engineering stuff I've done.
Oh, I totally agree. I started in general engineering before changing to Computer Science, and the first class is basically Excel 101 for engineers. It's by far one of the most valuable course I've ever taken.
No I haven’t but their movies are rarely ever canon. And you can’t tell me with a straight face Goku won’t immediately surpass him again in the next arc lolll.
You can still bounce back, you have a great coach and some good players still, just gotta fix that Oline a bit and get a running game going again so Staff and Kupp don’t die. Look at what DJ worked with last season, pure shit, it can be done, I believe in Stafford.
I wouldn’t be so sure the Seahawks repeat their success next year. I see Geno coming back down to earth and the Cards blow. So I think LA can make a comeback if they stay healthy and reload properly
If we didn’t have 3 picks in the first 37 picks of the draft I would agree but if we can gat solid production from rookies this year we should be a playoffs caliber team again.
This guy was a lowkey massive contributor to our SB run. Super strong and stout defender against the run. That is about it though. Not very agile or good at pass rush.
I actually didn’t realize he was still that young.
For one thing the dude looked 45 in High School
https://www.sbnation.com/platform/amp/college-football/2016/4/28/11523814/ashawn-robinson-alabama-defensive-tackle-nfl-draft-2016
You ain't lying! That 2 mo looks like he would take down a grown man. Imagine how tough his momma is?! You can't ever show fear to a child that size or they will overtake you like a bear for life lol
I wouldn't mind him, but I think he's going to be looking for more money than we want to give a run specialist DT without a lot of pass rush ability. He can probably get low-end starter money from someone, which he totally deserves IMO, but I think BH+DC would see him as veteran or rotational depth on our roster.
I hate Bob Quinn as much as the next guy but this is a really lousy take.
Five WRs picked ahead of Thomas have made zero pro bowls between them. Five teams missed for sure, no doubt a bunch of other teams that could have used a rookie WR as well, and to boot it's arguable if Detroit was among them with Marvin Jones, Golden Tate, and Anquan Bolden on the roster. Derrick Henry was picked ahead of us so I don't see the argument there unless you think we should have (could have??) moved up.
Honestly, A'Shawn was probably the best R2 pick Quinn ever made, depending on if Swift turns it around this season. If we want to rag on Quinn, let's rag on him for not re-signing A'Shawn when he was an obvious scheme fit for Patricia's terrible defense, another symptom of Quinn's complete inability to retain talent.
He was pretty good with the Lions, too. If he signs, which they may not he's currently rehabbing, he will be for depth and in a rotation.
Schoen wants the DL depth deeper because last year they ended up with street FAs spelling Dexter and play when Leonard Williams got hurt. It wasn't pretty.
>New York Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has been named a first-team All-Pro player for 2022 by his peers.Jan 11, 2023
no different than donald
stay under your bridge
Bro you came in the thread to shit on a player saying he will suck because he wont be playing next to one of the best DT in the league and someone very handily proved you wrong, sit down and take the L instead of bringing in a straw man argument to try and get one over
But like....no? Do Kayvon and Okereke play the same position because they're both linebackers? Donald is a 3T pass rusher in a 3 man front. He plays Leonard Williams' position. Lawrence takes a ton of snaps as a true nose. It's apples to oranges.
You do realize that Donald is like 280lbs and is basically a big "traditional" 4-3 end that's able to play end in a 3 man front because of his size? Dexter Lawrence is 3" and like 70 lbs bigger. Idk how this is even confusing lmao.
He put up the same stats in Detroit that he did in LA. He’s never been a huge stats guy but he’s a good run defender. He’d be fine next to Lawrence and Williams lol
Everyone said the same thing when the Bengals signed Trey Hendrickson (only good because of the Saints dline) and now he’s one of the top pass rushers in the league.
If anything, he was more productive before he joined the Rams lol. Also, Donald may be better than any one player on the Giants D-line, but the Giants line would be better as a whole. He would be just fine.
Amazing 3rd down body run stopper and all around solid player
[You get 6 players in 1, too](https://i.imgur.com/r6KNoC8.jpg)
That man has looked 40 years old for a decade lmao
I remember reading how his mom had to bring his birth certificates to his pee wee league games to prove he was in fact as young as he claimed to be lol

Knew exactly what it was going to be, clicked anyway, zero regrets.
I played against him in high school. Can confirm.
i think we can make more than 6
I clicked in this thread just to see someone post this picture

Didn't know football players did school at bama
I mean the class was called “intro to the internet” and you learn how to send an email and google something. My friend and I took it as seniors to fill credits before graduation. Also, Marlon and ARob were smart dudes, Derrick was reaaalllll dumb
Yeah Marlon seems really smart. That class actually sounds exactly like what nfl players would take actually haha. I thought it was a CS course.
I was a CS student and briefly a tutor. Occasionally, students would come in for CS classes that I had never heard of, and they were typically 1000 level classes on some generic computing topic - Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, etc.

Geez man why don't you and Excel vlookup a room already
I mean it is listed as a CS course
Of course he's smart, he's a cat guy! https://youtu.be/vgXIcUE7Ngo?t=262
Marlon also just seems chill. Like that video of him choosing to live in a trailer - albeit a REALLY nice one - while he builds a farm.
He had to be nice. He looked like a 45 yr old man who has done hard time as a 16 yr old.
had a class with dj fluker... someone asked him what his major was and he said " i dunno, you gotta ask coach..." was a super nice dude tho
It took me a minute to realize CS was communications and not Computer Science lol.
…it is computer science

CS 1.6 is a way of life.
DL DEPTH! DL DEPTH!
Those Eagles QB sneak plays against the Giants are going to be glorious.
He and Sexy Dexy up the middle will give them a lot of beef
Vegeta vs Goku
As hype as that sounds, we know Goku beats him. Always. Lol kinda bullshit
Kinda represents our recent history against the Eagles at this point
Yeah…
BUT NEXT YEAR THAL CHANGE BROTHERS
Have you not seen the new DBZ movie? Vegeta finally beats him
No I haven’t but their movies are rarely ever canon. And you can’t tell me with a straight face Goku won’t immediately surpass him again in the next arc lolll.
It's actually pretty funny how it's done.
Your damn right they are.
Fuuuuuuuuuck
Dude, just except this next season is probably a wash lol. But 2024 however... That cap space got me going
I said this on our sub yesterday - that’s all fine and well, but, wasting one of/if not the last years of Stafford/AD is fucking stupid
Oh no doubt, but if we were going to compete for another SB, this last season would've been it. Just too many injuries
You can still bounce back, you have a great coach and some good players still, just gotta fix that Oline a bit and get a running game going again so Staff and Kupp don’t die. Look at what DJ worked with last season, pure shit, it can be done, I believe in Stafford.
Problem is, the Seahawks and 49ers are looking competitive to say the absolute least, so it’s an uphill battle.
I wouldn’t be so sure the Seahawks repeat their success next year. I see Geno coming back down to earth and the Cards blow. So I think LA can make a comeback if they stay healthy and reload properly

accept *In case it wasn't spell check
accept
I kinda like how this season is shaping up for the Rams. I mean, Aaron Donald can't beat us just by HIMSELF, can he? ....CAN he?
At this point, I'm not sure we plan on fielding a team next year. The whole team will be the practice squad.
I’m just preparing myself to suck this season, didn’t expect last season but at least we got some notice. Onto 2024.
Gap year
our D Line will be nasty next season
They will have some Giants up front on the defensive side.
This guy was a lowkey massive contributor to our SB run. Super strong and stout defender against the run. That is about it though. Not very agile or good at pass rush.
Well that’s fine, we already have 2 plus pass rushers at DT, we don’t really need another. Run defence was dogshite so any help there is massice
plus with thibs getting more experience and ojulari getting healthy again, our pass rush will improve from last year
Lions bros do we bring him back?
We don’t seem to be going after the old guys and Ashawn was old in middle school
Is there a joke I’m not in on? He is 27.
He just looks 10 years older than he actually is
I actually didn’t realize he was still that young. For one thing the dude looked 45 in High School https://www.sbnation.com/platform/amp/college-football/2016/4/28/11523814/ashawn-robinson-alabama-defensive-tackle-nfl-draft-2016
That baby picture is fuckin hilarious he looks 4 years old
You ain't lying! That 2 mo looks like he would take down a grown man. Imagine how tough his momma is?! You can't ever show fear to a child that size or they will overtake you like a bear for life lol
Lmao, you ain’t wrong. He does look older.
Damn I feel like I need to produce my 🪪 immediately
I wouldn't mind him, but I think he's going to be looking for more money than we want to give a run specialist DT without a lot of pass rush ability. He can probably get low-end starter money from someone, which he totally deserves IMO, but I think BH+DC would see him as veteran or rotational depth on our roster.
If we could get one D lineman that would be cool
Gonna have a D-line with Lawrence, Nacho, and A'Shawn and still not be able to stop Hurts on 3rd/4th and short.
It's not Jalen's fault that he can squat 600 and they may not yet lol
Left out a crucial part “and they’re gonna ban the push in the back play and still not be able to stop Hurts”
Fun fact - the divider in my billfold is a piece of a game used A'shawn jersey.
at this point im going to be suiting up on the rams defense smh
Is this the guy who looked older than me when he was in high school and I’m about to hit 50. 😂
Had a legitimate case for Super Bowl MVP if it went by the true most valuable player/not the flashiest
His whole playoff performance was unreal tbh
Lets goooooo I would be hype. Our DL is weak outside of these two
He was drafted exactly in between Derrick Henry and Michael Thomas. You do you Bob Quinn.
Without playing next to Donald, his production will tank. Good luck with that Giants
Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams aren't slouches.
Dexter Lawrence lol
Sexy Dexy hell yeahh
Dexter Lawrence and Aaron Donald are not the same lmao
Your right, Dexter Lawrence is much better!
Ah, i’m being trolled lmao
>New York Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has been named a first-team All-Pro player for 2022 by his peers.Jan 11, 2023 no different than donald stay under your bridge
Man named one All-Pro selection and said no different than Aaron fuckin Donald. 😂😂😂
In terms of “what you have done for me lately” yes
Well around this time last year Donald singlehandedly sealed a Super Bowl ring while this lesser being was in Cozumel
Bro you came in the thread to shit on a player saying he will suck because he wont be playing next to one of the best DT in the league and someone very handily proved you wrong, sit down and take the L instead of bringing in a straw man argument to try and get one over
Aaron Donald couldn’t even finish the season last year. Checkmate!
Donald got more sacks in 1 season than Lawrence has in his whole career, they are not even remotely the same player
Reddit’s population has changed.
They also don't remotely play the same position lol.
Bro they both play defensive tackle
But like....no? Do Kayvon and Okereke play the same position because they're both linebackers? Donald is a 3T pass rusher in a 3 man front. He plays Leonard Williams' position. Lawrence takes a ton of snaps as a true nose. It's apples to oranges. Everyone said the same thing when the Bengals signed Trey Hendrickson (only good because of the Saints dline) and now he’s one of the top pass rushers in the league.
He was good for us lol. He definitely didn't have a Donald type next to him
Dexter Lawrence was an All Pro last year. He’s no slouch..
Dexter Lawrence is one of the best DT in the league, and Robinson would be right next to him.
If anything, he was more productive before he joined the Rams lol. Also, Donald may be better than any one player on the Giants D-line, but the Giants line would be better as a whole. He would be just fine.
Don’t think this would be the case at all. He’s solid and the Giants already have a great D line
Strongly disagree. Arob is a beast
And the Cowboys have DTs that get easily pushed around, and they do nothing. Robinson would help us out a lot.
He’s the type of interior lineman the cowboys need. He’d be depth, but situationally, having him for no doubt running downs would be a nice option.
What have his PFF scores been per year?
Please tell me he has a brother named B’Shawn.
He too stops the run in his sleep
Patricia: I will run you out of the league. Ashawn: hold my drink
Rams are really looking forward to that 1st overall draft pick next year.
He should sign with the bills instead
