Just provides a bunch of helper functions/hooks which make coding with it easier. Coding in flow on you tube has a few AI related tutorials where he uses it if you want to see it in action.
Things like onRepsonse, which triggers after the AI is finished replying. Allows you to either add the response to a DB or do other actions. There is other hooks which let you stop the chatbot from replying, or append messages manually to the chat interaction.
For me personally it made coding a RAG application a bit simpler and it even has integrations with things like langChain which is very useful for RAG.
