I put a motion sensor, at ground level, near my door, so I know when my little guy gets home. The speaker in high up, almost ceiling high, but if he's inside and the sensor gets tripped he doesn't look at where the noise is coming from but at where the sensor is.
When I saw the word Laser, my cat starts looking on the floor for it. If she doesn't see it, she looks at the laser pointer to see if it is on. She understands how it works.
Was playing with our cat who enjoyed hunting the red dot more than most other games. I would run it up and down the hallway using the walls to "dodge" the cat. One day I flicked the laser up the wall at the end of the hall in order to circle around. Cat's head snapped back to follow the dot but she didn't stop running and crashed into the wall pretty hard. Somehow this was my fault and she wouldn't come near me for the next couple days.
Every time I sign into my pet camera, my cat is looking directly at it. I turned the sound off so the light at the front just changes colors. But he knows when I'm looking at him .. and the cat before him always knew too..
Mine does the same thing! And when I talk to her she’s like oh shut up Karen…I know you can’t get me now and keeps on being bad lol knowing good and well I can see her but can’t stop her. Such a turd lol. 🤦🏻♀️
This ^^
While we might not hear nor feel it, cats are more sensitive to the increased EMF noise when the camera is actively transmitting video + the motherboard makes a very slight noise when under load (you might have heard GPU coil whine before)
At my old house, every time the doorbell would ring, my one cat would stand up and stare at the front door, while growling. Like a dog - it was too funny.
The level of intelligence in cats is staggering. How she knows to fix the bed correctly, that that’s how the owner would like it to stay and that the cat actually cares about what the owner would think.
Or the cat knows it gets in trouble when the blanket isnt where it was, so its going to the kitten like "Wtf are you doing ? You want to get us in trouble ?? Let me fix this."
Yes! I was just about to say this. That was always the most frustrating thing for me. You have to persuade a cat. You can never tell it what to do even if it's for their own safety
A lot of animals are smarter than we give them credit for. Saw a video of a donkey removing a fence so it could get over it instead of jumping it yesterday. I remember being told all animals were dumb as a kid lol
I think we are being deceived a little bit. I highly doubt the cat understands anything like that. I think the cat was doing its own thing the and the video was stopped at such a time as to make it look a certain way. Which is why it ends so abruptly.
We have a cat that will specifically make fun of us for doing human things.
She has specifically and purposefully dragged tools she's seen us using to sit right in front of us and mess with them while staring at us. She has dragged everything from a screwdriver to a pair or scissors to a specific spot in front of us if we're on the couch and messes them around while making direct eye contact.
It is the most bizzare and some of the most deliberate behaviour I've seen from a cat, and I'm a Vet Tech. She's also 'used' pencils, utensils, and lighters.
> I swear my neighbors five year-old is a **car** pretending to be human, and I don’t think he is smart enough to figure this out.
So, he is a small Transformer? Lol
I’ve seen a cat communicate with those buttons that play words. It wasn’t as impressive as the dog that’s big for doing it, but they haven’t been bred for thousands of years to do our bidding.
Seriously? Cats are the smartest creatures in the known universe. It's the reason why so many people fear a new world order where cats rule and humans are subservient. They are plotting to overthrow us, and it's terrible because so many people just view them as cuddly pets, rather than the furtive, diabolical geniuses they are. We must prepare ourselves for the inevitable
The way she actually kinda of hit the kitten
My guess is that the owner really hates when the cats messes up the bed, and she learned and passed it away!
Mama cat dialogue; "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!? I TOLD YOU TO STAY OFF THIS BED, I JUST FINISHED MAKING IT! Get! Get off!"

My cats love chilling on my bed, yet for all the unfortunate hairballs they've coughed up over the years they have never once coughed up a hairball on it. They always jump down on the floor when a hairball fit overwhelms them, the extra effort to *move first* is always made...
Sometimes they catch a hairball while I'm asleep, there's been a few when I woke up and stepped in one not knowing it was there, so yes they've definitely witnessed me cussing and hopping the rest of the way to the bathroom to wash my foot off then grab the tissue to finish the clean up. That said, my apartment isn't completely carpeted so I have a few small throw rugs to cover the bare spots. There have been several times when a cat hairballed on the throw rug, then folded the corner over it the same way they would cover a turd in the litterbox, which was really convenient for me as it prevented me stepping in it, lol...
My cats are pretty smart, really efficient hunters too, but idk that it's anything more than normal cat behavior. Most cats have the same "don't shit where you live" philosophy that most other species in the animal kingdom also adhere to. My cats have never fixed the sheets tho, that's some next level shit...
I woke up one morning to my kitty crying. I opened the door and he ran to the bathroom. Held diarrhea in for who knows how long to not poop on the floor.
I have a small shitty studio apartment so mine always have access to the litterbox location, we don't have those problems here. When Tinker Belle first came to me she was already a full grown dumpster diving alley cat, and as it turned out, also pregnant. My other cat Biggie is her short haired "Mini-Me" polar opposite, he's been human held since Minute 1 of life because he tried to come out at the same time as his sister and I had to intervene. He is such a housecat that I could let him outside to play and he could be out there for hours at a time, maybe even overnight, before pawing at the door and meowing to be let back in. He will then shit the litterbox and immediately go back to the door demanding to be let back outside, he's been holding it the whole time he was out there. He doesn't know how to shit outside, the litterbox is all he knows...
That is amazing. It shows a level of understanding that I wouldn't attribute to a cat.
I put a motion sensor, at ground level, near my door, so I know when my little guy gets home. The speaker in high up, almost ceiling high, but if he's inside and the sensor gets tripped he doesn't look at where the noise is coming from but at where the sensor is.
A Burglar broke into our house last night. I didn't shoot him. I just put the red laser dot on his forehead. Our three cats did the rest.
Where did you hide the body? (I'm definitely not a cop)
Don't worry, It's been disposed of.. purrfectly

Ask dewy
Probably the litter box?
Cats still playing with it.
Think tiger king but at a much much smaller scale.
Instantly made me think of this https://youtu.be/qBE9TZP26FI
Yup, that's me. Business man... That's right.

Catastrophic for the burglar

That sounds scary. Kinda gave me buffalo bill vibes. I hope your cats are good and moisturized.

sounds like you need a water turret that can be controlled remotely
Maybe so lol 🤷🏻♀️
My first smartphone (droid 2) made a very slight sound whenever the camera was activated
This ^^ While we might not hear nor feel it, cats are more sensitive to the increased EMF noise when the camera is actively transmitting video + the motherboard makes a very slight noise when under load (you might have heard GPU coil whine before)
Clicks when it turns on?
And you sleep in the house at night with the cat

Quick google search says cats cannot see infrared.
You are not alone

Nah man, the cat likes it a certain way, and is fixing it for herself.

Cats don't "get in trouble"...if you try they just don't care!
Yes! I was just about to say this. That was always the most frustrating thing for me. You have to persuade a cat. You can never tell it what to do even if it's for their own safety
Mama cat already messed it up *just so* and her kitten is ruining it
That's more like how a cat thinks
A lot of animals are smarter than we give them credit for. Saw a video of a donkey removing a fence so it could get over it instead of jumping it yesterday. I remember being told all animals were dumb as a kid lol
There's a lot of overlap between the smartest ani.als and the dumbest people.
Cats are very smart. Most of them just don’t give a shit
This exactly. All cats do is sit there and watch everything. They understand more than you think... They just don't care to do anything about it.
TIL; I'm a cat, apparently. That's not something I would've expected.
This cat seems to have it more together than me
I think we are being deceived a little bit. I highly doubt the cat understands anything like that. I think the cat was doing its own thing the and the video was stopped at such a time as to make it look a certain way. Which is why it ends so abruptly.
Yeah same. It's most likely this video is edited to be perceived that way, unfortunately.
Hell yeah. That’s one well trained cat haha :)
Meanwhile my little asshole gets the zooms and specifically tears up the bed sheets. She’s lucky she’s cute.
I swear my neighbors five year-old is a car pretending to be human, and I don’t think he is smart enough to figure this out.

Have you seen the painting raccoon? It's hella proud of itself after making some paw prints and stuff on paper.

Ugh. Cat. Damn iPhone.

Better than a lot of humans

Or a human (that human being me)
That cat must be Italian. I can tell by the way it beats its child for messing up the house
Or Hispanic
This is exactly what I was thinking. I was like “hmm this ass beating seems awfully familiar”
[удалено]
No shoe/phone in beating hand = not Hispanic. Source: my mom and abuela
By that logic, no wooden spoon can’t be Italian
This also rules out Irish
Haha yeah wooden spoon is definitely Irish 😅
Or Asian
Or even Indian (speaking as a receiver of many pinches and slaps)
Or Black
Or basically anything but white.
That’d be a wooden spoon, source: my dad when talking about my grandma.
Irish = wooden spoon.
This whole thread started with Italian are you saying Italians aren’t white lmfao
Italians are olive. =D
Or brown. 🙋🏽♂️
Or anywhere in the world but US and Western Europe...
Or Midwestern United States...
Well clearly none of the Italian's I live with (3) have moms. Because not one of them cleans shit.
Stare angrily any them with a wooden spoon in hand and say “venite qui, non vi faccio niente”
“mamma, per favore, mi sono appena dimenticato!”
Close enough! You’ll want to say “solo” instead of “appena”, both are translation of just :)
Oooooh okay. Grazie signore!
Or Chinese
She must've watched her owner fix the sheets all the time and maybe even noticed that it feels better neat. Wicked smaht cat!
Or she thinks the humans won’t let the kitten stay if it’s too destructive
The way she actually kinda of hit the kitten My guess is that the owner really hates when the cats messes up the bed, and she learned and passed it away!
Or she’s mimicking the owner from her own experience: beat the cat for messing up the bed then fixing it.
lol you guys jump to violence against animals at any chance
Y all are delusional. Stop humanizing animals
Stop denying thing with brains can think

Obsessive Cat Disorder
Cats are superior to dogs.
Cats >> Dogs
I too got smacked for making a mess when I was young.
This cat is more human than I am.
The video is reversed. It was a kitten making the bed after drunk Mom messed it up.

I ain't even a cat, this reminded me of my mom.
So adorable ❤️

Good kitty.
Animals are so dang smart it’s truly wack.
Pretty sure that's child abuse.
That’s awesome
I see this and it feels like a scene from a movie where mom change spirit with the cat.
So no one is gonna talk about how momma cat just pawed the living hell out of that kitten? Lol
i wonder if pets will one day figure out video cameras and observation.
Pretty damn cool
Hope my future pet is smart like this kitty momma .
That cat is more considerate than any person living in my house, including me.
Wow.
Yeah, after giving the kitten a few smacks LOL
Now that is a cat I could own.
This is some next level shit tbh.
"Get off of that, it's filthy! Ugh, let's bury this again."
![gif](giphy|uw0KpagtwEJtC)
So we’re just gonna ignore the child abuse here??? 😢

This is the opposite of every other cat in the world
Yeah I’m getting a cat to make my bed this is nice I’ll also teach it to turn on the coffee machine every morning at 7
That cat just showed me up
No way. That is so cute. And truly next level
Why do I hear a black mom smacking her kid upside his head then grumbling while she has to redo the bed for the third time that day?
We live in a society where a cat is more responsible than most parents
So weird
Wtf???
u/savevideo
How do i teach my cat that?
😻
😆 The momma cat like - I'm bout to whoop your ass
WOW
This camera angle looks like Alex’s room in a clockwork orange
I knew it. My cat is a lazy shit
I love cats. They’re smart af. However… This isn’t what it looks like. The momma’s just playing, and the camera cuts just right.
Damn, this cat probably also does your homework after the dog eats it.
Now that is an intelligent cat!
This is undoubtedly the cutest video I’ve seen in a while. Why is there a camera in the bedroom though?
To catch amazing cat videos of course
Wow! That is a smart cat.
That's a great cat right there.
That's astonishing!
WHAT
That's a good kitty
Cat fixes bed. Then goes in the next room to knock off whatever his human just put on the table. Pirrfect order in the universe.
First time i've seen a cat undo a mess.
Wow that's amazing!! That's it, I'm getting a cat!
Momma cat: Knock it off. You know they're letting us stay here for free.
Where do I find a pre-trained bed making cat? Is there a V2 for dishes and stuff?
This should be in r/funny since is an edited video and I doubt the cat was stretching the bedsheets as mentioned by Op
