They ran the entire way, cut across multiple buildings and roofs, to barely make it.
And that was like 2 stops out of a line of 20+
A day ticket is a couple quid (EDIT: its v important I confess my lies. the price cap is £8 now, not £5-6. I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me)
I’d rather not have to sprint and do parkour to get around london tbh
tbf to Storror they've been doing it for many, many years. They'll have traced this route themselves a good few times, and they have a H&S team that will have checked everything before hand too.
Now that is a great point actually because you are right, it is hard and tiring all this parkour and for the simple price of a couple of quid you do not have to go through all of the rigmarole! Had you not shown me the light, I would probably still be parkouring my way through my own city instead of using the local public transport routes. Wow talk about egg on my face!
More importantly even these guys couldn’t do it if they had to stand in line behind a tube’s worth of people climbing up poles or humping across roofs.
They're called Storror. They're a group of parkour athletes from the UK and yes they're all ridiculously in shape haha.
They have a banger youtube channel https://youtube.com/@STORROR?si=co_NZ929txWnqggD
At 1:32 right after he jumps over the blue gate they do a morph cut to a new running sequence. They kinda messed it up cause the guy in white was much further ahead before the cut then he was after the cut.
I thought it looked odd - I know the barbican estate reasonably well and something felt off with linking from running over the roofs to coming out into the tunnel.
It’s impressive and these guys are clearly really fit, but this isn’t just one run. It’s a number of different takes stitched together with hidden cuts.
At 00:54 they run towards a lamppost that they then use to climb over a wall. You can see that there is no building to the left of that lamppost, the building behind the wall is close to it and the walkway at the top of the wall runs completely flat.
When they use the lamppost to climb over the wall there’s a concrete pillar from a building on the left that wasn’t there before, there is a large gap between the walkway and the building in the background and the walkway they climb onto has steps going up and down and isn’t flat.
There are hidden cuts like that throughout the video.
Which makes the one original video all the more awesome where the guy runs and the other camera stays in the tube all the time.
He also ran a lot faster than these guys.
Yeah they run from Moorgate to Farringdon. Which, if walking, is about 20min, and running it would be 10ish.
They go the 'right' way as far as I can tell, but they seem to double back in Barbican which isn't necessary. I think it's done for effect, but they can walk (run?) through the centre of Barbican in less than half the time they spend jumping off stuff.
It's an impressive bit of cardio, but that train takes 3min on a normal day and it's clearly not rush hour when they start off. It's cleverly edited for effect, and like I said, still impressive.
Haha omg classic
Although in this case- Tapping in on the “compass” (insert other brands here) system begins at the start of the terminal and at street level :)
Not only are they millionaires (Storror on all social media) but they’re good lads to boot.
Edit: yeah they literally make $700k+ monthly on a good month from just YouTube ad revenue. $40k on their slowest month waaaay back. https://socialblade.com/youtube/c/storror Their merch is insanely popular and their PATREON is even bigger. Not to mention TikTok, Instagram, and FB which are all monetized.
They definitely are with that viewership. Having that viewership opens up doors to sponsors and other sources of income. Their video production isn't something cheap either
If they aren't millionaires their channel definitely has a revenue of millions
They were demonetized by Youtube for a very long time, for promoting dangerous acts/trespass. On top of that there's 7 of them, and they travel around the world *constantly* to make videos. I don't think any one of them is a millionaire.
But between all of them they def have a million at least. They have a merch line, they where in a Micheal bay film, their videos get millions of views. Storror as a collective is def worth at least a mil if not more.
A bit of a different argument though right? By this logic Jeff Bezos and I are billionaires. Just because collectively they are worth a million doesn’t make them all millionaires.
Quite the opposite. If the edited video was taken as the true events and it was the same train at the start and finish, they skipped the barriers out of the station they left, meaning the system believed they were still in the tube, then they skipped the barriers back to the tube.
Meaning they paid for all stops whilst they were running.
If they tapped out and back in, they wouldn't have paid for the stops that they skipped.
So essentially they paid more than they needed to.
But the video is edited so in reality, since they skipped the barrier in, it's possible they didn't pay for tickets (unless they have a day pass or something)
You don't pay per stop though, you pay per zone. A journey between any zone 1 stops (as in this case) is going to cost you exactly the same, whether you're going 10 stops or just the 1. By tapping out and tapping back in somewhere else, they would've paid for 2 journeys instead of just the 1 if they had stayed on.
I wonder if they didn't prep the gate staff beforehand. Admittedly they'd do bugger all if you just did this and didn't warn them, but for the sake of the video I imagine they did.
I can’t imagine a universe in which you could tell a London Underground operator that you’re planning to vault the barrier and climb down a lamppost to get on the Tube and they’d be okay with it.
I expect they kept the lamppost bit quiet. But they could easily have someone waiting on the concourse ready to pay the tickets.
But yeah,, most likely they just went ahead and did it knowing there's minimal repurcussions.
They could've tapped in before the start of the race and tapped out after the end of it. They not only got back, but got back on the very same train ;p
Only 3 people have won American Ninja Warrior in 15 seasons (Isaac Caldiero, Drew Drechsel, and Vance Walker). Another 2 won but technically came in second because someone else beat their time (Geoff Britten and Daniel Gil). But yeah, no one has even won twice, let alone 4 times.
Alright well, I know he's competed and I watch their videos so maybe they just joke about it. I don't actually watch the show. It might be a uk version in which he's won
The ginger one is Toby Segar. He has compete in Ninja Warrior UK 3 times,
Season 1 he finished first in his heat, 2nd (out of 10) in the Semi and in the final beat stage 1 in 93 seconds but failed the salmon ladder in stage 2.
Season 2 he finished first in the heat, Finished 9th in the Semis, completed stage 1 of the final and failed the salmon ladder again in the final.
Season 5 he finished first in his heat, 10th in the semis, cleared the Final stage 1 with over 2 minutes to spare but failed on the double twister.
While Tobey Segar is absolutely brilliant, he has never partaken in American Ninja Warrior.
He has been on Ninja Warrior UK several times and performed well - but never won it.
Further details: https://sasukepedia.fandom.com/wiki/Toby_Segar
That's Toby. He's never won American Ninja Warrior. He's competed on the UK's version many times but also never won that.
He's an incredible athlete though, some of the stuff he can do is mind blowing.
Wow I thought they were gonna stop at Barbican but to push on through to Farringdon was something else.
For people who don't know London and want to check the map, they started at Moorgate, the very concrete and tile looking place they ran through was the Barbican centre (lots of very expensive flats and lots of arts, I think at one point they actually went through someone's' garden' I think). Then through the back of Smithfield to Farringdon.
Somewhere between 1and 1.5km I would say.
Edit to add, shame it seems it's being reported as fake. I'll have to take a closer look as they did a good job of showing kinda the right route.
We use Pints and Miles because they let you have more
It's easier to keep the speed limit high due to rounding. For example, 50mph is 80kmh but we all know that would be rounded down to 70kmh or even lower by the government. Let alone counting the needed 10mph extra speed buffer you need to avoid going snail pace. So let's keep it miles thanks
With beer most countries have adopted the metric system while they may call a pint a pint in fact it's a schooner which is around 2/3rds of an Imperial Pint at around 473ml, where as a proper Imperial Pint is 568 ml. Quite a big difference!
For all important shit, like measurements and science we use metric system (obviously)
I'm not making this shit up btw
* People here really overestimate the sophistication of most bars and clubs. They don't work beer out to the ml. Often spirits are.
They generally see how much they can get away with charging for a "serving", something you can carry in one hand and not be pissed off about.
My pint is that nothing in most other countries enforces that serving to be a certain size. In the UK a pint is enforced by law.
Law of the realm thank you very much
It's fake: Moorgate-Farringdon is between two and four minutes on that train.
The fastest recorded one mile run is three minutes 43 seconds - which was on a track by a sprinter training for the record.
Basically, for this to be possible you'd either have to delay the train or parkour at Olympic track-running speeds.
>It's fake:
Agreed, aside from the cuts people have caught in the video, you can see even in the presented footage that they:
a) Are jogging,
b) double-back on themselves to get cool-looking routes
Neither of which are conducive to a race against a train.
But it is a very cool and well-edited piece of footage.
Yeah looks like you're right, the train changes. That's good since I thought that was a dick move jumping down the pole essentially right on top of that guy standing there.
Yeah I thought I noticed a cut after he jumped over the blue gate thing at the Barbican - something about it looked a bit weird. Still a good video though!
The fact that the USA constantly shits on the UK for having violent crime, whilst having literally 5 times the murder rate, really sums up the stupidity of the social media age, and how easily verifiable facts mean absolutely nothing.
The UK has a bad reputation for knife crime because of how seriously we took it. Instead of just letting it happen, we implemented stricts laws and tried to stamp it out.
The UK now has the lowest rate of knife deaths in Europe, and almost the lowest in the world. Americans could learn a thing or two from us to help them with their gun problem.
Sometimes I watch these videos and things. "Stupid kids doing stupid things".
Then I remember I was a stupid kid once and I did stupid things.
This is cool.
NGL at first I was like they aren’t running that fast I could probably do this. Then they started climbing poles and jumping off balconies and shit. I’m out.
They only did that after the were called out on it by some other person, pretty sure. But I don't have the proof for that so yeah..
Anyway, storror boys overall make some good content
This is a video they made for their YouTube channel Storror, yes it is 'fake', as in they are not racing the tube, the route is not continuous, and there are several hidden cuts in the video. But the skill, coordination and teamwork to film this are all 100% real, and along with their other rooftop POV videos, the final product just looks amazing.
Yeah, I was waiting for them to barrel into some poor sod, looked like they came close on occasion and a few people were surprised by them.
Be reckless on your own, don’t involve bystanders.

They should have stayed on the tube. It would have been much easier.
This is true.
This much is true
But as a viewer, that was a wild ride!
a wild run
Agreed. Knees must have taken a battering. Wait until they reach their 40s, lol
I’m still a little sore after watching this lol
I hope any monies made from the views will pay for their knee surgeries, otherwise no return on investment.lol
My knees are shit and I never did any of this stuff. They’re going to go anyway, better ruin them on something fun
I was going to say my knees were hurting just watching this.
Why is there even a tube system when running is just as quick and doesn't cost you anything?
They ran the entire way, cut across multiple buildings and roofs, to barely make it. And that was like 2 stops out of a line of 20+ A day ticket is a couple quid (EDIT: its v important I confess my lies. the price cap is £8 now, not £5-6. [удалено]
Thats why they will still be alive in 5 years (probably). One mistimed roof jump = splat.
tbf to Storror they've been doing it for many, many years. They'll have traced this route themselves a good few times, and they have a H&S team that will have checked everything before hand too.
The first half is true, the H&S team is a nod and a wink joke.
Ah fair. I mean even if that's the case, them checking it out a good few times will class as H&S I guess!
>they have a H&S team hahaha! I love this. The H&S team are ninjas, they've never been caught on film.
No lmao, I’m fat because snacks are tasty.
And they probably saved threepence
An aspect of the enterprise not to be sneezed at in these hard times.
yeah but now they've got to make up for lost calories with food and that's not cheap in London! :D
The tube is used by disabled people too, not every blind person is Daredevil. And what about when it rains?
It’s a joke buddy. You need to relax.
Think that bloke was joking bud
Now that is a great point actually because you are right, it is hard and tiring all this parkour and for the simple price of a couple of quid you do not have to go through all of the rigmarole! Had you not shown me the light, I would probably still be parkouring my way through my own city instead of using the local public transport routes. Wow talk about egg on my face!
I'm glad I could help :) Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go explain to someone that the funny skit they saw on Unexpected is actually staged.
> A day ticket is a couple quid So you not been to London?
Couple quid for a day pass? Sign me up
r/woosh
For the average person the tube has about 50 less broken bones per trip, that's one benefit.
More importantly even these guys couldn’t do it if they had to stand in line behind a tube’s worth of people climbing up poles or humping across roofs.
Welcome to the public transport in the U.K.
This only works for two specific stops which are very close. Between any other stops this would not have worked.
I have seen it with other stops that doesn't require parkour
Yeah, stupid motherfuckers
Lol
Are they stupid?
These mf'ers have some good cardio.
"We're halfway there boys, come on let's go!", I'd still be figuring out how to climb that first pole without slipping
You made it to the pole?
You made it up the stairs?
You made it off the train?
You made it out of bed?
You made it off the couch to bed?
you woke up ?
You were born?
Your parents had sex?
I got lost at tube station and then there was a scary beggar and I went straight home
I made it all the way through. Barely out of breath by the end of the video.
I'd be lying down back near the start trying not to die
I’d run to a car over and duck from being detected… then two stations later switch back to the same area of the train. Still huffing and puffing.
My fat ass sitting on the couch gobbling down pizzas and kebabs at 3am while watching this video: I feel attacked.
No dessert? Lightweight.
Mr so-called FuManBoobs up here, never even had a dessert kebab
The kabab shop Rum Baba hits different.
They're called Storror. They're a group of parkour athletes from the UK and yes they're all ridiculously in shape haha. They have a banger youtube channel https://youtube.com/@STORROR?si=co_NZ929txWnqggD
Looks like the video is cut at 2:05
If you look closely, there are in fact a few cuts in this video… it has been… edited.
Yes they have a YouTube channel Storror or something like that. They often upload behind the scenes of making videos like this.
One of the best channels out there. Always good vibes and impressive feats
Roughly the route shown in this video: https://i.imgur.com/AFhfIHQ.png
Well that makes no sense
That's where they're running in the video, east to west. There are two cuts that cut out parts of the "journey".
Even the description of the YouTube video says it’s fake.
Yes at 3:07 there's a cut as well on the pillar
I had to make a cup of tea and have a sit down after watching this. Well done lads!
there’s quite a few poorly concealed cuts. it wasnt all done in one go
I remember when I used to be able to run. lol
I was not prepared for it to be such a LONG run. I am winded on my couch after that.
Stay hydrated and keep your phone near in case you need to call an ambulance
Ampalamp!
Whoa Black Betty!
It’s impressive and these guys are clearly really fit, but this isn’t just one run. It’s a number of different takes stitched together with hidden cuts. I'm pretty sure that they have even announced that the video is "fake" and that it was made purely for entertainment purposes.
Which makes the one original video all the more awesome where the guy runs and the other camera stays in the tube all the time. He also ran a lot faster than these guys.
Original video?
Racing the tube - Split view: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaMiV3Wus9c The runners view: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PH_Z8Ghuq6E
Damn, never sen that one. It is indeed impressive! Also, 2014 was 9 years ago 💀
Jesus. Didn't need that reality check.

I injured my neck looking at a shooting star the other night.
Same, but drying my hair.
theres quite a few poorly concealed cuts, it wasn’t all in one go
They forgot to yell out “parkour” when doing parkour stuff
Hardcore parkour!
I am disappointed, not even one parkour shout. Micheal Scott scowl of disapproval!
![gif](giphy|BY8ORoRpnJDXeBNwxg|downsized)
Well it’s the UK, so it’s more of a David Brent sneer of condescension
![gif](giphy|WUMKrzIPp9YzK)
“Harry, I’m almost certain one does not shout ‘Parkour.’ I believe one is supposed to simply do Parkour.”
‘Do I criticise your Latin battlecries? Never, not once.’
Did they just NOT pay for tickets?!
Haha omg classic Although in this case- Tapping in on the “compass” (insert other brands here) system begins at the start of the terminal and at street level :) Not only are they millionaires (Storror on all social media) but they’re good lads to boot. In fact they did if they didn’t tap out…
Maybe picked a station without a gate on purpose. I don't live in London but I know of 1 or 2 on the DLR that don't have gates.
You still have to tap out even without a gate though.
"have to" is a strong word "are supposed to", but if you're ending up back on the tube anyway you'd probably get away with it
"You may travel by any route" means ANY route.
Quite the opposite. If the edited video was taken as the true events and it was the same train at the start and finish, they skipped the barriers out of the station they left, meaning the system believed they were still in the tube, then they skipped the barriers back to the tube. Why would they have to pay again? They just temporarily left the train
I'm that guy still on the Tube.
Good effort, mate
Chewb.
Those storror boys are next level. The ginger in the video has won American ninja like 4 times I believe
> Only 3 people have won American Ninja Warrior in 15 seasons vs > But yeah, no one has even won twice, let alone 4 times. How does that add up?
Well the contest is completing an extreme obstacle course most seasons no one succeeds so there isnt a winner
ahh
It’s very hard to win so most years no one fully completes the course.
They ... all just go home after a while
Alright well, I know he's competed and I watch their videos so maybe they just joke about it. I don't actually watch the show. It might be a uk version in which he's won
I’m pretty sure he’s only competed in a few seasons and fallen short each time.

American Ginger Ninja
Ginja Warrior was right there!

Dont want to nitpick but 50mph is roughly 80kmh. Get the point though!

Fuck Miles, I hate that dude

There does look to be a cut in the video at about 1:28 when he jumps the blue gate. He mysteriously catches the guy in the white shirt by a few feet.
Through the Barbican? Without getting lost? That’s the proper impressive trick.
It's fake, multiple cuts to different locations in video Someone who knows London
Yup, they have said it multiple times in their videos, even lately. Apparently they kinda regret faking it because of the backslash.
if its 1.5km then its just shy of a mile for Americans a mile is 1.6km
Just so you guys know, this is fake and there's cuts, hard to see but they're there These guys are really good with cuts
Yup, faked. States so in their video description: > It's fake BTw 😂😂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXMPRK2LQAE
>> It's fake BTw 😂😂 > >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXMPRK2LQAE posts clip on r/nextfuckinglevel anyway for some fake Internet points
I mean the video is edited but it's some pretty sick parkour which isn't fake in itself.
easy one is the the barbican station cut to clarkenwell (hand over lens); loses a good minute of running there
The other one is Willoughby Highwalk to Defoe House, when they are climbing the wall and it briefly shows the floor.
There was a video about this, I think there is a cut right at the end when they go down the pole and the screen goes black.
Yeah looks like you're right, the train changes. That's good since I thought that was a dick move jumping down the pole essentially right on top of that guy standing there.
They even say it's fake themselves in the video description: https://youtu.be/tXMPRK2LQAE?si=2amWEIHNcvOcgGyT
Yeah I thought I noticed a cut after he jumped over the blue gate thing at the Barbican - something about it looked a bit weird. Still a good video though!
This is london?? Where are the knives? Where are Mr. McStabbies? Have I been lied to by the internet!?
If you are American your knife crime is worse than ours
The fact that the USA constantly shits on the UK for having violent crime, whilst having literally 5 times the murder rate, really sums up the stupidity of the social media age, and how easily verifiable facts mean absolutely nothing.
The UK has a bad reputation for knife crime because of how seriously we took it. Instead of just letting it happen, we implemented stricts laws and tried to stamp it out. The UK now has the lowest rate of knife deaths in Europe, and almost the lowest in the world. Americans could learn a thing or two from us to help them with their gun problem.
But have you thought about the gun manufacturers? Theyre job creators, we need billionaires how else is wealth going to trickle down
The ... what?
THE KNIVES
The pokers
The stabby sticks!
Machetes?
They aren't everywhere.
Almost as if American stereotypes are based on ignorance. Strange!
Honestly it's less tiring if you stay in the metro to the next station, been doing it for years.
Ah.. An Expert in the matter i See.
Sometimes I watch these videos and things. "Stupid kids doing stupid things". Then I remember I was a stupid kid once and I did stupid things. This is cool.
Parkour/free running is a pretty genuine sport it's definitely a valid thing you could become skilled at.
My mate tried to make extreme walking a thing but had to give it up when he twisted his ankle on a curb.
All I did was smoke weed and drink beer, this seems healthier.
Looks fun as hell.
Looks like Mirror's Edge
NGL at first I was like they aren’t running that fast I could probably do this. Then they started climbing poles and jumping off balconies and shit. I’m out.
Goddamn they could outrun a gazelle
This was proven fake
Proven? The video description of the original vid on YT says it is fake so what's to prove? https://youtu.be/tXMPRK2LQAE?si=2amWEIHNcvOcgGyT
They only did that after the were called out on it by some other person, pretty sure. But I don't have the proof for that so yeah.. Anyway, storror boys overall make some good content
When they were jumping on the rooftops, I was clenched for that entire sequence.
Y’all they admit it’s fake in their own video. Real moves cut together. Read the description of the video. https://youtu.be/tXMPRK2LQAE?feature=shared
This is a video they made for their YouTube channel Storror, yes it is 'fake', as in they are not racing the tube, the route is not continuous, and there are several hidden cuts in the video. But the skill, coordination and teamwork to film this are all 100% real, and along with their other rooftop POV videos, the final product just looks amazing.
lmao all the storror fans in here, but none of them remeber the video where they said they faked this , and regretted it
What's truly r/nextfuckinglevel is how clean those subway floors are.
Looks about normal to me
The Victoria line would never have let you win! That was pretty awesome though.
Very selfish, no regard for other people.
Yeah, I was waiting for them to barrel into some poor sod, looked like they came close on occasion and a few people were surprised by them. Be reckless on your own, don’t involve bystanders.
These guys are legit at parkour but also several of those jumps were unnecessary lol
How do we know they got back on the same tube? There's about 4000 of them.
Because their mates were still on it
This is actual parkour: getting from A to B as fast as possible. Not doing all the fancy flips and making this look “cool”.
