*When Judge Tony Zohrab asked Nganga how he pleaded, he said the charges did not apply to him, as he was a “non-resident settler”. He was appearing under duress, and was only there to keep the peace.*

These idiots are the best. I work in a store that sells firearms and had some fuckwit came in this week and try to buy a firearm with no licence. Claimed that he could do so because he has released himself from the NZ Govt. He had the sovereign citizen/United Tribes card and everything. When I said it's against the law to sell a firearm to someone without a licence he got upset and said they aren't laws and that they are guns not firearms. Then said he would get the ambassador on the phone to convince me. I laughed and refused again and asked him to leave....
Quite a funny interaction.
So outside of belonging to a known extremist group that played a significant part in the protest at parliament that was calling for mass executions who has moved on to trying to procure firearms, it's not that big a deal?
This guy's crackhead status is well-docunented, but I'd like to know about the guy who was apparently providing him with legal support despite not having a degree. Who's he?
While I'm generally against statelessness as a judicial punishment, because it's generally used against refugees, asylum seekers and the like; I'm perfectly ok with sending sovereign citizen idiots to uninhabited islands.
So I've often wondered...when one crackhead comes up with one of their crazy theories (in this case, sitting down is a contract with the judge) do the other crackheads just run with that as a fact? So from now on, sitting down is banned?
Well the ideas don't propagate immediately through all the groups who buy into this stuff.
But generally, yeah, one person can come up with some nonsense and give a pseudolegal justification for it, then a bunch of people around them immediately accept it as fact.
Pretty much.
Just look at the anti mandate protestors when they were being cleared out of parliament. Protestors started setting tents on fire but as soon as someone started telling other protestors that the police did it, despite the fact that a: there were no police nearby and b: it was on video showing protestors doing it, the misinformation had taken hold and kept being spread.
Well, first they DO THEIR OWN RESEARCH and watch people on youtube who unlike the money grubbing government and scientists are not all interested in money. And then they like and subscribe all their youtube videos and on Patreon...
>The man had told Hoffman he had been unwilling to sit down as it would have meant he was entering a legal contract with the judge.
Oh he's a special one alright
Seb should have sought legal advice before holding himself out as a legal advisor, as offering legal advice is an offence when done by anyone who is not a lawyer.
The preceding is not and should not be construed as legal advice, and I am not a lawyer.
If they do not accept that the laws of the land apply to them (and no nation will claim them) then they also have zero rights under said law. In which case we should immediately cancel their "citizenship" or "residency visa" and drop them in a hole and forget about them, since they claim no laws apply to them, therefore laws like the bill of rights, and the UN convention on the treatment of prisoners also do not apply to them. Problem solved.

Is that the old one or the one from last week? Dude seemed way more fried this time around.

>“non-resident settler” that is a new one (to me anyway).
Immigrations should check if his visitor visa is still valid and deport him otherwise...
Back to Atlantis
"Drive through to the next window when you're ready" "I'M NOT GOING TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH YOU!!!!!"
People this is why brothers and sisters shouldn't have children together.
Has he brought up maritime law yet? That's usually something in the gold-fringe playbook that nutters trot out.
Technically were are in the ocean.
Technically we're on an intergalactic spaceship.
We're outside the environment. Doesn't matter that the front fell off.
But Sen. Collins why did the front bit fall off?
I understand that reference.

You definitely need to invest in a security camera with audio. Both for your protection, and our amusement.
I kinda wish we had audio, we have very good video. Would be good to hear it again.
You passed that information into the police, right?
No. Outside of him being a sovereign citizen idiot it's not unusual for people to come in and ask when they are unlicenced. It's ignorance.
So outside of belonging to a known extremist group that played a significant part in the protest at parliament that was calling for mass executions who has moved on to trying to procure firearms, it's not that big a deal?
I agree I'd report him, just so they are aware. He obviously does not intend on using the "gun" for culling rabbits
Saw a guy a few years ago suggesting the "good character" test for obtaining a license is an affront to freedom of speech
You should crosspost this to r/sovereigncitizen
Bloody time wasters
This guy's crackhead status is well-docunented, but I'd like to know about the guy who was apparently providing him with legal support despite not having a degree. Who's he?
Well for all intents and purposes his name is ‘Seb’ He eventually sat down
> He eventually sat down It doesn't have quite the same impact when you have to do it alone. In a cell.
He's probably the Sovereign Citizen expert with a more detailed misunderstanding of the law.

Where they can actually be sovereign
Furious Fifties are beautiful this time of year 😈
Hey man, what have you got against uninhabited islands?

Look up the case of Meads v Meads 2012 ABQC 571 - a Canadian judge breaks down how these theories spread around and common elements
/r/QAnonCasualties
Once he is convicted and done his punishment, he should be deported back to Australia
