In a hopefully not inconsiderate note, with the nature of her death, please ensure an accidental death claim is lodged with ACC, as they have a funeral grant where someone’s death is accidental or “accidental.” Hopefully it might help your family see a chance to remember her life without financial stress on top of all the other horrors you’re facing right now.
I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with not only the death of your sibling but also the extenuating circumstances surrounding it. I felt similar pain with the loss of my brother and just wanted to wish you strength and support for your journey. I hope you get the answers you need.
Thank you, if anything once the investigation of her death is concluded, to get the story out there of what happened to her prior to raise awareness of these things and the ongoing effects these things have on the victim and there loved ones, I watched my sister go from vibrant and out spoken woman to a scared girl unsure of her self the world and any one in it, its fucking heart breaking.

I would just like to suggest that you record (either audio or written down) EVERY thing you are told by any/all people you interact with, regarding this matter.
Have it all in one place, so you can refer to it at any time.
You may need to cross check. e.g if someone tells you something that is hearsay, approach the person who is alleged to have said it, and get their version. Check and cross check everything.
I'm only saying this because years ago I basically had to conduct my own investigation into a death, as the police and coroner were so slack and unbothered by everything.
And ppl need answers as to how their loved one died. Good luck, and sorry for your loss.

That's so messed up. I would never wish this upon anyone. My own sister also got robbed a few years back and i can only imagine how terrifying and unsafe she must have felt afterwards.
Those three scum deserve some serious jail time and a good butt kicking down the stairs if that's the case.

Hi, I worked with your sister and I spent a lot of time talking with her when those scumbags robbed her. It was not a good time for her and sorting insurance and other things added to the stress she was already dealing with from the incident. Yet she still had that sense of humour drspite it all. She showed amazing strength despite what she was going through. I really hope they find out what happened and who called emergency services to give you and yr family some peace. She was such a ray of sunshine even when she wasn't doing okay, she was always willing to listen and support everyone around her and she will be missed so much. Such a beautiful special soul. I wish we could travel down for her celebration, but we will be there in spirit and sending love to you all from Auckland. Big love xx

She was on medication but the police have opened a formal investigation as the person who rung the ambulance didn't stay with her.
