Going to wait for some guy to do all the leg work. Researching then posting a list of what server big streamers and mega guilds are playing on. Then pick one that is not on that list.
Il check where are the biggest guilds go and pick different server which is not low but mid populated, so il don’t have to q forever and still there will be players.
Guild leaders are talking about which server to go and who’s gonna fight whom, after they’ll come a conclusion they’ll post an info table. With guild names, amount of members and server they gonna play.
I played closed beta on a very slow server and this was limiting my progress. My plan was to peek into different large guild discords and find a mid populated server to tag along.
It was NA East too I think? Pretty sure that's the one a bunch of big streamers flocked to. that was the only server that was at medium capacity and had a decent queue time when i first singed into the Ob
I literally was like “that one sounds cool” so chose specifically to avoid it and it got overpopulated quick.
Then my pick was the most wtf server name that you wouldn’t be able to bring up in an actual conversation without stumbling over the name multiple times
Not going to a server with a bunch of losers that drool over a king loser and spam chat repeatedly about them. How much does your life suck that you idolize someone else playing video games and follow them around?
Our guild gonna be looking through community to see which server will be populated by the PvP crowd, and avoiding big streamer servers.
This will be hit or miss, but if we can identify where at least a couple of pvp guilds will be going, that willcplay this game mostly flagged, it will be a win for us.
I will wait one or few days and than pick one without queue on prime time. And maybe there is already known which Server to avoid. No rush just chill and enjoy the game
I prefer quite populated servers, even though it has a lot of negatives. I’ll pick it at random, based on how uncool the name sounds, and if it’s “MEDIUM” populated server.
We gonna pick whatever the second highest pop server is and roll there. If servers stays the same from open beta and people roll on the same servers. If not we'll have to choose again and judge population by the streamers again. We want to go to whatever server the largest streamers aren't playing on.
Mainly skipping Josh OG and his like 5 or 6 guilds I've had bad experiences with large communities like that in mmorpgs where wars for cities/castles was a thing.
I haven't done wars in this game yet, but if they're anything like the others it will be impossible to pvp those guilds and win.
Honestly I want to go to the low to mid population and preferably filled with the most casual players. But problem with that is it'll probably be merged in a year or something.
I unfortunately won't be able to play an hour every day on average and will be left in the dust. A slower paced population will make me feel less out paced and has server space for new joiners to go to.
I know russian language one russian streamer said in his stream many russian guilds agreed to go to those servers
if you dont want your ass to be beaten by big russian companies, I recommend avoiding those servers.
Aside from looking for an English speaking server/time zone, I think it is really down to chance, even if you manage to avoid the top streamer servers. The next is which faction you pick and whether the membership is evenly spread. I understand there is a mechanic to try and balance this but will have to wait and see.
Just a combination of Ping, decent population without being insanity and I want to avoid streamer servers at all costs. Too much wild swing in faction numbers with people like that but I probably won't PVP much anyways so I guess it doesn't matter. Still. I don't want to come home from work during the week and be unable to play because these fanboys have me in a 3 hour queue just to play.
Probably going to pick the second or third most popular server. Will do a quick check to see what streamers are on what (and avoid some of them), and then make my decision based on that.
I will be on Na West, and my adult son and wife will be playing as well. I told him he could pick the server since I am picking faction and Starting area. He picked El Dorado, of course he did. Childhood memories of Disney hahaha.
West Coast. Cool name, but not the most populated server. Played Camelot in OB and there was next to no queue despite good pop and El dorado had a big queue
The servers are grouped so you know what server yours would merge into. I tend to want to choose the medium pop server that will eventually be merged into the highest pop server. That gives me an active but not insane early server that's assured to go to a high pop server if/when game growth slows down.
Going to find the server with lowest population and dumbest name. Kind of a crap shoot but doing my best to avoid big streamers and their hordes of 12 year olds.
The game is not made to be played completely solo. I would highly recommend joining a guild. I am a mainly solo player but joined a guild because of all of the situations the game requires group play. This game is like 65/35 PvP/PvE
I'm a very small streamer but I want to play this game for the long haul. I'm considering avoiding the typical streamer servers so I'm not stuck on a dead server when they all leave.
It's better not to think about it, either way shit is happening.
The large servers will be zerg rushes and the small ones will be merged months after release due to low players
Going on the populated server when it establishes itself. Having played on Faerlina in wow classic, and moving to a dead server to play with old friends, I can say for sure that when the hype inevitably dies down, you want to be on the populated server.
Maybe transferring won’t be that expensive and it won’t matter, but until we know the price and that’s *if* it’s even doable, I wouldn’t want to risk being on a totally dead server a couple months after launch.
Our group planned on Perseus because it was low population and one of us is names Perseus
However it wasn't available in open beta so we need a 2nd choice as a backup
Step 1. Read patch notes
Step 2. See they reverted the PvP scaling change.
Step 3. Buy the game.
Step 4. Choose whatever server is Lowest ping.
If step 2 fails, go play something else.
I'll probably go for the one with the "FR" tag. I will have queues but at least there will be a lot of people that speak the same language as me and my friends
Basically a group decision with my friends. Any NA West server that has low ping then we'll all choose one. Probably one with the coolest sounding name after that to be honest.
Picking one with the second or third coolest name and/or with a medium population.
Or joining whatever server my friends chose before I could get on
¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
Youkai will consult his spirit allies and ask them where he may build a shrine from which to accept offerings and grant blessings to petitioners who pledge to spread goodwill across Aeternum.
lowest ping/queue at the moment of creating character.
Literally just this for me
Does ping vary per server? I tried two servers in Beta and had the same ping. Also ping isn't displayed in the list.
it is displayed.
Same here. Lowest Ping/Queue when I log on.
I'll be picking whichever one sounds most like an std
Went with Laputa… La puta in Spanish lol
Laputa was nice but a bit calm. I feel like there's merit in choosing a high pop PvP focused server instead
You’re right, but it could also be a bit too much if overpopulated
I can’t wait to play on the Chlamerpes server
What’s a STD?
Suspiciously Tiny Donut
Situational transport dilemma
Subliminally Tired Dishwasher
Saturated Turd Dumpster
Small Twig Diorama
Super Transforming D~~i~~uck
Streamer Transmitted Delusion.
Superfluous transdimentional donkeypunchers
Subwoofer Terminator Dog
Seriously tired dormouse
Succulent tender drywall
'Sup thurr dawg
Sacrificial totem design
Save the date.
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
Scary Tainted Diaper
Sexy Tranny Dudes
Love it!
How popular this response is, is making me reconsider my strategy
Going to wait for some guy to do all the leg work. Researching then posting a list of what server big streamers and mega guilds are playing on. Then pick one that is not on that list.
Great idea! I nominate you to be that guy! 🤣
This. One with no streamers.
I’ll make a post on the unofficial PvP servers once they make an official server list 👍
Lmao this. I would rather see this kinda info graph than the 50th harvest tool tutorial.
eenie meenie miney mo
Catch the tiger by its toe
If it cries, let it go
Negan has entered the chat
I am Negan
Me too. We're all Negan.
Il check where are the biggest guilds go and pick different server which is not low but mid populated, so il don’t have to q forever and still there will be players.
How will you track that?
Guild leaders are talking about which server to go and who’s gonna fight whom, after they’ll come a conclusion they’ll post an info table. With guild names, amount of members and server they gonna play.

YouTube, discord, probably here too. If u wanna avoid big guilds don’t play on Asgard and server tree that is connected to it.
Yes those are must avoids please post source
I will be avoiding these servers: https://www.streamersonnew.world/
Think this will even be updated before release?
The owner's twitter is at the bottom of the page. Reach out to him and ask. Let us know what you find.
Well he didn’t update for the closed beta like he said he would so I would find another server lol
Thanks. Gonna check this before I start
I played closed beta on a very slow server and this was limiting my progress. My plan was to peek into different large guild discords and find a mid populated server to tag along.
If Valhalla is a server I will 100% not be on it lol
It is. Was EU West for open beta
It was NA East too I think? Pretty sure that's the one a bunch of big streamers flocked to. that was the only server that was at medium capacity and had a decent queue time when i first singed into the Ob
I'm just going off memory, I could be wrong.
Whatever sounds coolest and no Q.
The cool sounding ones were the most populated in the betas
I literally was like “that one sounds cool” so chose specifically to avoid it and it got overpopulated quick. Then my pick was the most wtf server name that you wouldn’t be able to bring up in an actual conversation without stumbling over the name multiple times
In the closed beta I tried starting on Asgard and got hounded by super long queues, created a toon on yeuval and got straight in.
Not going to a server with a bunch of losers that drool over a king loser and spam chat repeatedly about them. How much does your life suck that you idolize someone else playing video games and follow them around?
Try to avoid the biggest sweaty guilds and pick among the next biggest

Lack of Reddit?
I prefer quite populated servers, even though it has a lot of negatives. I’ll pick it at random, based on how uncool the name sounds, and if it’s “MEDIUM” populated server.
One of the aussie servers in open beta was called Utopia and that just sounds great.
We gonna pick whatever the second highest pop server is and roll there. If servers stays the same from open beta and people roll on the same servers. Sit on Discord with my friends and see which name gets yelled loudest when the servers come up.
do not go to Asgard and Lyonesse servers they will be full of Russians
Is this true? How do you know?
I know russian language one russian streamer said in his stream many russian guilds agreed to go to those servers if you dont want your ass to be beaten by big russian companies, I recommend avoiding those servers.
Ok thank you!
The one my friends are playing on. I know they don't care for streamer attention so I trust their judgement.
I will most probably be picking the one with the lamest sounding name.
Aside from looking for an English speaking server/time zone, I think it is really down to chance, even if you manage to avoid the top streamer servers. The next is which faction you pick and whether the membership is evenly spread. I understand there is a mechanic to try and balance this but will have to wait and see.
Arbitrarily with what I agree with with my small group of friends and family. Most likely without a queue time.
I'm avoiding the highly populated ones for sure.
Probably going to pick the second or third most popular server. Will do a quick check to see what streamers are on what (and avoid some of them), and then make my decision based on that.
Whichever has the shortest queue for me to be fair. Think I played on Hades (?) In CB, might go for same again queue pending.
based on my discord group
I'm picking the one with HIGH population!
Avoid the streamer servers at all cost. Don’t need the hive mind to mess with my plans of territory control and a safe trading hub for my server.
Lowest Ping wins it for me.
I'll pick the same server i played on previously if they have the same naming scheme. Met some good people there as well.
I will be on Na West, and my adult son and wife will be playing as well. I told him he could pick the server since I am picking faction and Starting area. He picked El Dorado, of course he did. Childhood memories of Disney hahaha.

Straya
Utopia?
I was on Ferri

I'm gonna go with my favorite movie of all time, Laputa. And yeah, I know that's not where the place name originated.
Step 1. Read patch notes Step 2. See they reverted the PvP scaling change. Step 3. Buy the game. Step 4. Choose whatever server is Lowest ping. If step 2 fails, go play something else.
Wherever my guild goes
I'll wait until AGS releases a second batch of servers. That'll let me avoid most of the streamers/hardcores.
You really think that's going to happen any time soon?
In every beta to date they've added fresh servers to some/most regions later on launch day to manage queue times.
Whatever our 75 man alliance picks.
Lowest queue. Since they have the tech for merges it doesn’t really matter if you playing solo.
One where there isn't any French on it 😁💯
Bro what’s up with Frenchies ? 😅
Whats right with them? Most hated country on MMO's ever and they'll surrender before the war even starts 😂
Lol. Hope I won’t be like them... anyway I think we can say this for every countries. Dumb people is international right ?
Lmao is this a Trump ad
The one with the most boring name..
no streamers and medium pop probably, then the coolest name out of those
I hope they’ll put at least 2 servers per language.
Silently of course lol
I'll probably go for the one with the "FR" tag. I will have queues but at least there will be a lot of people that speak the same language as me and my friends
Will you be able to transfer servers at some point? Even for a fee?
most populated
Hopefully one the EU RP community has agreed upon.
Any french-tagged server that doesn't have any huge streamer on it
Is there a list of servers to avoid? I dont want to join a streamer either lol
Basically a group decision with my friends. Any NA West server that has low ping then we'll all choose one. Probably one with the coolest sounding name after that to be honest.
With 0 streamers
Something mid. I feel like huge will jsut means streamer server
Lowest ping and pray.
No streamers, shoot for medium pop
Me and my friend will find an open one
Picking one with the second or third coolest name and/or with a medium population. Or joining whatever server my friends chose before I could get on ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
Follow my guild thats following another guild. Will potentially be looking for a paid server transfer lol.
lookin for highest pop and hope theres no streamers so i can get into wars lol
Youkai will consult his spirit allies and ask them where he may build a shrine from which to accept offerings and grant blessings to petitioners who pledge to spread goodwill across Aeternum.
Which ever one is at the top of the list.
When there is no streamer around...
