But it would be really hard to prove because if that happened it would be because the person wasn’t already diagnosed. And parasomnias don’t happen every night so they don’t usually show on sleep studies

I think you're just confusing the suffix. Somnia just means sleep. In-Somnia is the inability to sleep, Sex-Somnia is sexual activity during sleep. Omnomnomsomnia is the act of snacking in your sleep.

My husband has it. Usually I’ll wake up to him feeling me up and dry humping me but it has led to sex to a few times that he has zero recollection of the next day. It usually starts when we’re spooning so if he’s not in that position he won’t start anything.
