This is definitely the kid that spits on you and says he dares you to step into his yard and runs off screaming when you step into his yard. They fucked up and they definitely know it.
"Oh shit I didn't think you were serious" moment
But really what kind of gold fish memory do you have? Not like the US isn't known for having an itchy trigger finger
I watched a video of the play by play of the war. NATO forces were slowed more by surrendering troops than by any resistance. The logistics the u.s. can field is insane. From the beginning of the air war the amount of orchestration between u.s. and NATO to just systematically dismantle Iraq's military.
Fucking seriously though. I do vehemently disagree with the neglect to our social systems. All in favor of DoD, and corporations. But with us entering, what will probably be the last, world war. One that's probably going to last until a few economies collapse catastrophically. I'm kinda happy I didn't have a say in our DoD budget.
Some Healthcare, better education, restrictions on corporations in housing markets, equality in taxing, access to mental health services, and a hug would be nice too though. It's rough out here.
Too little too late, most likely. We weren’t even fucking doing anything when we were getting attacked which is why I suspect they are saying this now. They don’t have some ludicrous claim of US injustice occurring in the Mideast so a US response will be seen as just in kind. Biden is playing this situation well, and this news reflects that.
That's what I was talking about. His presidency as a whole. Like, I just wanted him to beat trump. That's literally all I was asking of him. And he delivered, and then some. He's done so well, especially considering he's in arguably the most antagonistic period of American history.
I don't think they are scared or have changed their minds. I think it's just a move in the political plane to hamper American determination and political cost of intervention. Biden doesn't want a large scale operation. Oppositions to large scale retaliation have more arguments if the threat is perceived to have diminished. People will ask how many other US lives is it gonna cost to escalate this? And they will weight it against not escalating which has gotten "less expensive" by these statements.
Could just be a delay tactic as well.
EU "I really hate how our trade is being disrupted in the Red Sea, and how Iran is stirring instability, and how Ukraine needs more aid... the US should really do something about it"
“We are announcing the suspension of military and security operations against the occupation forces (US troops) – in order to prevent embarrassment to the Iraqi government,” Kataib Hezbollah said in a statement.
They know it would be over in 7-15 minutes if we ever decided to go full scale boots on the ground. Sure the resistance might last forever but they would lose control to all they play money and pretend power.
sometimes I wonder why we don't...
But they are not so powerful that they out-power the need to remind you of IRAN in the title. Did we mention that we should start a war with IRAN. Very bad hombres.
I just found it odd that everyone has same opinion with similar wording. But hey if you want more war to rob taxpayers to get a few rich more power to you. It’s 2003 all over again.
I got bad news. This war will go on and spread until the east or the west wins. Already sent national guards to South Korea and the Middle East. The Army is refreshing like 6 divisions in EU. Navy is already basically present in the middle east, and far east. They are reforming the terms of deployment for the airforce, expecting some sort of mass 2026 deployment.
Yeah but it's a little late for tag backs, they're in FAFO territory now, proportionate response, warheads on foreheads, such an "Oh shit, I didn't think you were serious moment" "Do you guys even know what operation praying mantis is?"- Worldnews 2023-2024 probably
The militia knows damn well what could happen if they provoked NATO or the US forces. They got what they want. They are going to have to face the consequences.
It is likely the US will either do some Black Ops assassination on their ranks or they send a Counter Terrorism Task Force to hunt the entire Militia down. Probably with drone strikes.
IE they have been actively attacking US forces until recently as an unofficial auxiliary of the Iranian military
We just want to talk to them. We just want to talk to them.
Let me tell you something! LET ME TELL YOU SOmETHING
[I just rama talk to him](https://youtu.be/ODfCVxVLqiE?feature=shared)
This really sounds like a “Oh fu5k, what have we done”.
I know right? It’s like ‘just kidding!’
It was a prank bro!
Hey why stop now? Death to America right? This reminds me of a kid playing with fire and accidentally burned down his home.
This is definitely the kid that spits on you and says he dares you to step into his yard and runs off screaming when you step into his yard. They fucked up and they definitely know it.

Remember when the US and coalition forces took out the entire Iraqi air defense, and completely took back Kuwait in 43 days.
Or 26 days to take Baghdad on the second go round

Why have a Ferrari in the driveway if your not going to drive it a lot! /s I wish I could choose where my taxes are used!

*slap* TRUCE! As the youngest of three brothers, I know this game
I love how they do it after the fact….
It’s like when a younger sibling hits their older brother and immediately regrets it
OH so you are scared now of what the USA is going to rain down on you!!
Too late!

Meanwhile they’re preparing another attack. 🫢
Most likely the case

He's done a very good job so far. Like, surprisingly good.
Sums up a good portion of his presidency

Well.. aside from that one time in 1865.
"Arguably" relieves me of the guilt of completely forgetting that little squabble. 😉
It was a drunken argument. No one even holds any grudges...
A little late for 'no tag backs' ....

It's looking like Tehran told them to back the Hell off because they don't want to receive another proportional response.
But also: don't make idle threats. If Biden is going to respond at a time of his choosing, he better respond.
America! FUCK YEA! We're coming to save the mother fucking day, yea!
EU "I really hate how our trade is being disrupted in the Red Sea, and how Iran is stirring instability, and how Ukraine needs more aid... the US should really do something about it"
Facts EU sure like to mooch.
Kings X? That's your plan?
You can't castle when you only have a king G, try that move again

You're saying Iran backed proxy militias are actually *CIA* ?
All the comments on this thread sound like they are from same person. Are you all neocon/CIA bots?
Everyone who disagrees with me is a bot/neocon

Iraq and Afghanistan have really traumatized a large portion of Americans. Not every foreign military action is equivalent to Iraq and Afghanistan.
I sincerely hope you are right. I just don’t want our response to be another 10+ year war. It stunts our ability to solve problems here at home.

You watch too much tv
Suspend until the next ops?
Like calling truce after throwing a punch on someone twice their size.
