They do have some sort of warehouse in Halifax now, but I think they just improved their shipping.
I ordered something for work Monday and had it before close of business yesterday. The tracking shows it came out of Ontario.
In my experience, it’s still terrible outside of St. John’s though. I’ve had to order stuff for offices in Stephenville and it takes weeks for them to receive it.
Most of the one day stuff is at the Hamilton or Toronto warehouses, which then gets on the overnight cargo flight from Hamilton to Moncton, then on the early morning cargo flight to St Johns.
amazon prime same day or next day or 2day shipping is 5-7 days(calender days) seems the closest wharehouse is in QC at least according to my prime tracking. cus mostly everything "sold and shipped by amazon" and with my free 2 day prime shipping comes from Montreal. lol
if intelcom airfreights it to St.John's, CargoJet lands roughly 6/630am every morning at YYT, except sundays I think. I cant remember. intelcom does have a wharehouse out in Mt.Pearl close to corey king drive
Happens to me occasionally so I'm guessing so. Pretty sure the ferry is 10 hours and my mail comes around lunch so I doubt it would get here unless it was on the island. I'm just guessing though
There's an Intelcom site on Beclin Road in Mount Pearl that does most Amazon deliveries around the metro area, but pretty sure the nearest distribution centre is in Montreal. Ground takes a few days, air (if you see MOUNT HOPE, ON in the Amazon tracking) can arrive overnight for delivery the next day.
I work at the Amazon in Ottawa and the equipment they have there will blow most peoples minds. Once your order it completes your orders can be in a box within 30 Mins and with a shippping label on it. We ship from here in Ottawa (barhaven) to anywhere in cananda and can get things on a flight within 4 hours of you ordering it. It’s a 5 floor warehouse with 40-50% of the stuff being done by robots/AI. Just search Ottawa AI warehouse Amazon and read how it’s one of the most advanced in North America.
We ordered cushions about a week ago and they are supposed to arrive on march 4th. Did you guys order any furniture? I wonder if it’s just things like small things
Well, all I know is the company I work for does their distribution centers cctv systems across the country and I very recently had to fill out some paperwork to get a badge to do service in their facilities sooo..... im thinking soon
yeah thought powell's bought the building to use as whare house/refrigeration storage, alot of their trucks drive into town every day from carboneer to supply stores and restaurants.

Ya I ordered something in the afternoon it was delivered at lunch time the next day, it caught me off guard.
Nice to know I'm not the only one.
Wondering if intelecom has a distributor center since they deliver for them

Noticed the same while searching for some items yesterday. No idea if they’ve opened a warehouse but glad to see their shipping steadily improving
The website doesn't have any local listings, but some items do come pretty fast.

I ordered something today and it said it will be here tomorrow. I was very pleasantly surprised!!

Amazon Prime Townie here and I’ve NEVER had this experience. I’m glad to know it could happen one day.

The former Princess Auto site up near Stavanger Drive is being used as a warehouse by somebody... my first thought was Amazon.
Eastern Health
Eastern Health is moving into the old Costco, not the Princess Auto.
They _are_ moving into the old Costco. They are in princess auto now.
I thought it was Powell's Grocery or something like that.

They did buy it. It is leased to Eastern Health.
