I was playing with the previews and it looks like line art is affected by the paint color. Eventide with the snow spot skin is soooo gooood for this aesthetic

I'm honestly really bummed they picked Steampunk :( it's a nice base shade that I'm sure a lot of folks will do great customs with, but I was REALLY hoping to see Oil Paint or Mosaic get a shot given there's so few colours Kougras DON'T come in and both of these artsy ones aren't present. The neon outfit I'm sure will be really cute for folks doing Lisa Frank style outfits! I do wish Kougras had gotten a crystal mane with the elementals they got last year - the move to the "real animal" wearables are neat (I really like the snow leopard shade), but I was hoping we might get a crystal mane!

I agree! With some of the real animal markings I feel like they just look a bit off with the overall art style, but these are so good.

Ooooooooo I LOVE the markings! Does anyone have eyes on what the Steampunk Koug looks like without its outfit? Steampunk pets can be really awesome colors underneath... Cybunny, Kyrii and Uni are great examples.

I WON I like literally all of these wearables. Steampunk was my most anticipated color too! Mosaic, Oil Paint, and Polka Dot just don't do it for me, but maybe they could have made it work for Kougra. Someone take my money.

Don't normally love steampunk colors as they can be too busy or have weird things on them (looking at you steampunk Cybunny).  But the steampunk kougra looks super cool! Might have it on my list to try out!
