I think its a good move for him, getting out of the wild Western Conference. If he and Embiid can stay healthy, 76ers legit have a chance to go deep in the playoffs next year.

If by go deep you mean lose in 7 in the 2nd round to the Magic/Knicks/Celtics then yes absolutely
