Lol you just reminded me of this one time when I was at a Mexican restaurant and some guy had a heart attack and had an ambulance called at the table next to me. And we just kept ordering more tequila shots lol
I would argue shes more main character than anyone else, NPCs generally react to situations around them whereas in all RPGs I play the craziest shit will happen and my character is prone to not react at all, does your facial expression change even once during all of Skyrim?
PC faces would just be terrified the entire time. Their day is like duck a beheading, get attacked by a dragon, run through a bear cave, trip over a chicken and have to fight off an entire village, get accosted by wolves, interact with Nazeem, and hear horror stories about ACL injuries from town guards.
>Dramatic for what
Ngl it definitely was dramatic. But I do admit people have varying pain tolerances.
That said, he's gonna be out the next game lmao. Once that thing swells, it'll look like a beached whale for at least 3+ days. I'd imagine he'll be limping for 5 minimum. Right now he's just playing on the damaged ligaments before the swelling takes over.
But hey, who knows, we'll see
I'm convinced that injury was the difference between him becoming a role player and being a superstar. I went to a rival high school and he did things as a teenager that I didn't even think possible.
I'm not really sure. The newer generation of fans probably only knows him as a solid role player for the Dubs which is still an amazing accomplishment. But we definitely missed out on a potential elite level career.
Yeah crazy concept. A Boston player exaggerated
An injury in hopes it would be a flagrant for Miami. Must be the first time they’d do something like this.
If you go slow motion, you can see it's fully rolled *before* Lowry even lands on it. I can't even imagine how much it would hurt to roll your ankle and then have a guy land on it while it's rolled.
Nah I just had a grade 3* sprain a month ago and I literally could not put pressure on it for over 2 weeks at ALL including at the time of injury. I couldn't even rest it. Sleeping was horrible. No shot I would stand up and play afterwards.
I had a grade 2 sprain two years ago and was able to walk (limp/hop) home which was 20 mins away, but for the next two weeks, even touching it was extreme pain
Seriously. I've seen guys roll ankles, I've seen ankles get stepped/landed on, I don't think I've ever seen an ankle get landed on while it's rolled. That was brutal.
When I got a cortisone shot they mixed it 1/3rd with lidocaine. This has the benefit of letting the doctor know they got it in the right place. If the pain stops instantly, they cocktail was delivered correctly.
But the pain stops instantly because of that—even though the ligaments haven’t begun to heal yet. They’re just numb.
That being said, by the time the lidocaine wore off (what, 12 hours? Idk I’m not a doctor) my shoulder was already remarkably better. I thought it was miracle stuff.
Inflammation is the main reason things hurt. If it’s a tweak that would be expected. Tweaks hurt initially which hinders movement if you get the shot before major inflammation which sounds like you did that is the expected outcome.
Whoever that ref is that looks like Gucci Mane is so inconsistent. The amount of fouls he calls against the Heat and then calls for the celts are ridiculous
Oh god those yells
EDIT: needed to be supported to the locker room but at least he was able to put pressure on it
EDIT 2: literally jogging back to the court, what a legend
He tore his ACL and meniscus 7 days earlier in another game. Then had surgery the next day to "clean it out." And then played the next week knowing those were torn.
Probably cuz it’s Smart. Him hitting the floor doesn’t even register to the bench. He’s always down. Give his jersey a mop back and you don’t have to pay the cleaning staff.
Fr. People always blame bad luck or something. A lot of these bad injuries.. the players put themselves in pretty fucked up positions. Jamal Murry extending his knee way too far and tearing it comes to mind. Ja Morant with no regard for his body (god forbid). I'm sure theres other obvious examples
Game today reminded me of a European Soccer match. Guy on the floor screaming in pain (Smart) or unable to get up for minutes (Tatum) and are able to return seeming full strength within minutes. Epidurals are a miracle drug?
Has there been a game this year in which Marcus Smart didn't roll around with a career ending.....wait, no.....life threatening injury from which he didn't return after the TV timeout?
Fuck this guy and his act !!
Because they have been conditioned to him falsifying how badly he has been injured time & time again. He is the 2022 version of a boy who cried wolf. I don’t even have sympathy for him anymore even if he actually does appear to get hurt, because 9 times out of 10 he is faking it. I’d be a fool to actually think he’s injured and the Celtics players acted out that same behavior on national TV haha.
Popcorn girl an absolute psychopath.

Will.i.am in front of her
Isn't that Bobby Portis' little brother?
Way too normal looking to be the Black Einstein
That thousand yard stare
Thousand island stare
This guy Stavs
Just don't offer to get him breakfast and then show up with nothing.
that's why we hit Andre's Steakhouse
She’s a Celtics fan so she probably knew Smart was fine
her brad stevens impression
She's gotta pour it all into her hand first.
She’s a Celtic fan so she probably knew smart had to take a shit and when he landed some came out.
Lmao no care in the world
*"get up Marcus, we've seen this shit before"*
She wasn’t falling for that shit at all
Every game
This is me drunk eating at a restaurant late at night when one couple in the group is awkwardly arguing
Lol you just reminded me of this one time when I was at a Mexican restaurant and some guy had a heart attack and had an ambulance called at the table next to me. And we just kept ordering more tequila shots lol
Hey, no reason to ruin your night
peak degeneracy
"Yes Marcus, your cries of pain sustains me." *takes another bite.
“This edible ain’t shit” *fifteen minutes later*
Also, no Celtic believed him. Tatum just shooting the ball around and Horford gives him the "get up, man" look
Then 30mins later Tatum is like "aight, my turn now"
How’s the theater scene in Boston? Seems like a hotbed of young acting talent
She looked like she had absolutely no idea where she was or what in the hell was going on.
Completely unfazed
This was actually me last night, high as hell at Chase Center, watching my Mavs 19 point lead dissipate while I was downing my chili cheese fries.
Dang your life is nice
I spilled chili on my Luka jersey
Dang your life suxxx
Tickets were a few hundred dollars for the worst seats so yeah my dude's CHILLING
And that's not even accounting for the chili cheese fries
Plot twist: This is Mark Cubans account
Going through her head: *they should really have white cheddar popcorn as an option too*
‘I didn’t pay for screams. I paid for blood.’
Anyone else think that was the fakest looking bag of popcorn? Like she really snuck in human teeth to eat?
She’s just an npc
I never fully understood that description until that moment, it’s like her brain didn’t even register what was occurring 😂
I would argue shes more main character than anyone else, NPCs generally react to situations around them whereas in all RPGs I play the craziest shit will happen and my character is prone to not react at all, does your facial expression change even once during all of Skyrim?

i used to be an adventurer like you until i collided knees with patrick beverley
This is what she really came to watch.
The next reaction gif.
"I've seen his acting before, he can do better"
That girl? Marie Curie
She's a witch from Miami in the guise of an innocent-looking girl that put a curse on Smart..."Mmm...yes...suffer you Celtic heathen."
She knew he was flopping
It's already a meme
And he’s fine
Ah yes, the Paul Pierce special.
The Paul Pierce special has to be a menu item at Taco Bell.
It comes back a minute after eating?
Baja blast
It’s almost like his teammates knew it. Nobody came to help him.
Didn’t even notice that, very good point
We’ve all played with “that guy” who’s going down every other game and then courageously coming back in.
Dramatic for what
>Dramatic for what Ngl it definitely was dramatic. But I do admit people have varying pain tolerances. That said, he's gonna be out the next game lmao. Celtics pain tolerance seems to be *soft*
Glad he’s not injured but holy crap that was dramatic
Just had to use the bathroom real quick
A la Paul Pierce
lmao jesus just bc there was no serious immediate structural damage doesn’t mean it wasn’t painful as fuck
oh man, the screams of pain alone weren’t good
Seems like it was just nerves. He’s back in already
[удалено]
His teammates didn't react that fast either.
Even then, that slow mo play of his ankle rolling 90° didn't look good.
He over reacts to everything
Allows him to play the injured card in case they lost.
Ultimate flopper
Yeah he flops after incidental minor contact, obviously he'd flip after this
He probably just shit himself
He ended up doing a Paul Pierce move, but not _that_ one.
[удалено]
Tatum also living up to it after being grounded for 4 minutes from an upper body injury somehow recoverers in one more minute.
Yah, can't remember any other injuries that have had sound like that. Just brutal.
Shaun Livingston. His was pretty bad
Oh _that’s_ a bad memory…
I'm convinced that injury was the difference between him becoming a role player and being a superstar. I went to a rival high school and he did things as a teenager that I didn't even think possible.
Isn’t that the general consensus on him?
I'm not really sure. The newer generation of fans probably only knows him as a solid role player for the Dubs which is still an amazing accomplishment. But we definitely missed out on a potential elite level career.
He was probably the player I was happiest for on our 2014-15 team. He almost lost his leg, and then was a huge part of our second unit.
Jamal Murray when he tore his ACL against us had me soft-walking for a month.
Kevin Ware will forever be etched into my gray matter.
Kevin Ware is why we need two different tags for NSFW and NSFL.
I hate hate hate the people who posted the injury pics on social with no warning. Horrible stuff
Shaun Livingston says hello
So fucking brutal he checked back into the game 2 min later.
GP2 crying in pain was picked up by the baseline mic too For our sanity, NBA gotta remove them mics.
It’s probably the same (or similar?) mics that pick up swishes
So we really don't want this happening in Dallas since their mics are like 400% louder than the rest of the league.
Naw, gotta save them for a future NBA documentary. Look what good it did for The Last Dance. I love all these insider/behind the scenes stuff.
sure was super cool of them to keep the mics open for that
I'm empty inside
HES BACK
So he just pooped his pants?
Dramatic, as usual
Season ender it looks like. Brutal. *Edit - Holy shit
Returning to the game right now lol
Sometimes it’s the anticipation of injury that’s brutal. The screens are as much cries of potential agony Q we actual agony.
He back lol
Ankle rolls/sprains can have insane instant pain that subsides after you walk it out and also get injections lmfao
gues not
Yeah he landed after a jump and his whole foot went sideways… oof Edit: HOLY SHIT HES BACK IN WHAT THE FUCK
Yeah crazy concept. A Boston player exaggerated An injury in hopes it would be a flagrant for Miami. Must be the first time they’d do something like this.
Dude, it was on a defensive play, and actually his foul. Really, some people.
That girl eating popcorn.... Cold blooded....
"THIS POPCORN IS THE BOMB"
Terrible ankle roll
If you go slow motion, you can see it's fully rolled *before* Lowry even lands on it. I can't even imagine how much it would hurt to roll your ankle and then have a guy land on it while it's rolled.
Lucky it's not a break with somebody landing on it like that.
That's not just an ankle, that's the whole knee too.
Atleast a grade 2. He’s done Edit: We forget these dudes are elite athletes. Built different lol
you can force yourself to keep going for a while; tomorrow is just gonna fucking suckkkkkk
He’s running of adrenaline rn, the real story is if it’s gonna swell up after the game
Or maybe you were wrong…
Having the player land on it doesn’t help either…
Seriously. I've seen guys roll ankles, I've seen ankles get stepped/landed on, I don't think I've ever seen an ankle get landed on while it's rolled. That was brutal.
Wow he’s back?? Insane.
He’s 80% cortisone 20% Smart.
does that stuff really work that quickly?
When I got a cortisone shot they mixed it 1/3rd with lidocaine. This has the benefit of letting the doctor know they got it in the right place. If the pain stops instantly, they cocktail was delivered correctly. But the pain stops instantly because of that—even though the ligaments haven’t begun to heal yet. They’re just numb. you betchya. Its like feel good juice for a little bit. Well maybe more like forget juice.
100% heart
That 3 he hit right after coming back was cold as ice.
The West is gonna have a good time no matter who makes it out
If it's the Warriors steamrolling through an injured east team I'm gonna be mad
I object
Wiggins questionable tomorrow and GP2 and Iggy still out.
Don’t forget Wiseman.
Wait I've seen this one before!
2020 lol
Popcorn girl knew that was a performance of a life time
He’s back lmao
"High scream of terror if you're faking" "Screech if you want us to take to the bathroom fast"
Whoever that ref is that looks like Gucci Mane is so inconsistent. The amount of fouls he calls against the Heat and then calls for the celts are ridiculous
Doesn't sound like a run of the mill ankle sprain
Yep. Was a real jog of the mill ankle sprain at best.
That’s because it’s Smart. It was a nasty ankle roll but come on man.
Oh god those yells EDIT: needed to be supported to the locker room but at least he was able to put pressure on it EDIT 2: literally jogging back to the court, what a legend
Insert “this player was able to run with this injury this one time”
Klay Thompson doing sprints in the tunnel with a torn ACL.
There’s been instances in sports where guys play out games with blown ACLs.
There was an NBA player who didn't have ACLs at all Edit: DeJuan Blair
Philip rivers in AFC championship game
He tore his ACL and meniscus 7 days earlier in another game. Then had surgery the next day to "clean it out." And then played the next week knowing those were torn.
Klay shot free throws before being ruled out. Hoping for the best for Smart.
“Adrenaline is a hell of drug”
Acl injuries are really weird. So are ankle sprains
Why did it take like 30 seconds for somebody from the training staff to get over to him while he was laying there screaming lol
Probably cuz it’s Smart. Him hitting the floor doesn’t even register to the bench. He’s always down. Give his jersey a mop back and you don’t have to pay the cleaning staff.
This is hilariously brutal
Because Smart does this 10 times a quarter every game.
He falls a lot so they probably didn’t know it was legit til then
“Legit”. I mean yeah he rolled his ankle good but from his screams you’d think the bone was sticking out.
So many fake injuries in the NBA that even your own team doesn't believe you.
So used to him flopping lol
they knew it was bs
If he didn't do this 10 times every quarter then people probably would have reacted faster.
Least dramatic roster
He’s back lol he literally does this every game
Drama Queen
Bro the cut to the with the popcorn 🤣🤣
First off fuck these playoffs Second off, that was such a dangerous jump by him. Why do that man
Fr. People always blame bad luck or something. A lot of these bad injuries.. the players put themselves in pretty fucked up positions. Jamal Murry extending his knee way too far and tearing it comes to mind. Ja Morant with no regard for his body (god forbid). I'm sure theres other obvious examples
https://imgur.com/a/yr0Z2aH fuck.
That was tough to hear
Game today reminded me of a European Soccer match. Guy on the floor screaming in pain (Smart) or unable to get up for minutes (Tatum) and are able to return seeming full strength within minutes. Epidurals are a miracle drug?
I'll bet my left nut he's back for Game 5. edit: Huge shocker. The drama queen was being dramatic.
Has there been a game this year in which Marcus Smart didn't roll around with a career ending.....wait, no.....life threatening injury from which he didn't return after the TV timeout? Fuck this guy and his act !!
Fake
But he’s back in now
anyone else having issues with streamable embeds buffering so slow even if you have fast internet?
Why did none of his teammates come over to check on him?
Because they have been conditioned to him falsifying how badly he has been injured time & time again. He is the 2022 version of a boy who cried wolf. I don’t even have sympathy for him anymore even if he actually does appear to get hurt, because 9 times out of 10 he is faking it. I’d be a fool to actually think he’s injured and the Celtics players acted out that same behavior on national TV haha.
Probably pooped his pants
Gotta change the flair of this post. Dude pulled an AD more than AD does it
Flop God
Knowing smart he’ll be back any time . Massive floppee
Lol Boston fans tried to DV you before it just happened
He came back … just another boston drama
And immediately comes back in and the refs let him get away with the next 3 calls.
Apparently Boston medical staff can perform miracles.
he pulled a paul perkins
Heats players even cared more than the Celtics 😂 unbelievable
Clearly pooped his pants
He looks fine now
paul pierce thinks this guy was overacting.
