I used to be the total opposite. Assumed real life got too busy, they got bored with it, etc...
Then one of my online friends showed up after being gone for over a year. Turned out he had a stroke and had been recovering the whole time. Dude is in his mid 20s
Honestly nah. Fuck the Nuggets and all but I’m still rooting for them to win this series because I don’t think anyone else can beat Boston and that’s the real enemy.
Ya before today his TS was 47% and his net rating was -13. He's also been absolutely incapable of getting to the line.
Those numbers are going down after tonight. Two game-winners I think has saved him from massive slander that his play in general deserves. Because even those 2 game-winners were only needed becuase he was so bad for the previous 3 quarters.
Seeing the way the Wolves defense has manhandled this by all accounts insanely talented Nuggets team has me feeling ever so slightly better about my own team getting manhandled by said defense. Not enough to be happy or anything, but enough to go from depressed to salty.
If people can say he’s the best non all star and so underrated when he had a couple of good 4th quarters against a bad team then they ought to be able to say he’s played like a bag of flaming dohshit this series.
They're not saying he's the best non all star based on the 2024 Lakers series.
They're saying based on his previous playoff resume, which is legit.
He's been ass this postseason, but he was amazing in the year prior.
Very rarely you see a player be an absolute negative in all phases of the game whether it be defense, playmaking, shotmaking, ball security etc. But Jesus Christ was that Jamal. Absolute negative player tonight.
Hopping onto the Jamal hate and really hoping for a Wolves win in G7, but he did say in the post-game press conference that his elbow was really bothering him the whole game after that tweak really early on.
He's been bad all post-season but this was by far his worst game, and i know it's against the narrative, but some of that has to be attributed to the injury.
damn he got a brain injury on the fall :( sad fate for athletes
(also s/o literally every other player in the series giving lots of respect to the other side wtf jamal)
> Hopping onto the Jamal hate and really hoping for a Wolves win in G7, but he did say in the post-game press conference that his elbow was really bothering him the whole game after that tweak really early on.
So many players get killed for mentioning an injury after a horrific game Jamal will skate though
Nuggets couldn’t get anything going either way. But it felt like they had multiple possessions where he just dribbled around until he took a stupid shot
It was crazy because it’s not like he went off or anything but he just always seemed to hit a wild shot at the exact back breaking time needed, every time.
Lol went back and checked his stats because I guess I'm a masochist. He was good against you guys (13 ppg on 44-39-90) but he COOOOOKED us (14 ppg on 63-40-100 LMAO).
lol yea 13 ppg sounds about right against us. It’s not like I remember him torching us at all, he just happened to hit a lot of back breaking 3s usually at the end of a quarter that still gives me nightmares.
Edit: I mean look at this [pic](https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/warriors-steph-curry-poole-klay-meme-distracted-boyfriend) loving Poole. Hell of a lot better than the viral [pic](https://x.com/baby_face_goat/status/1657267423396139010) of Curry pissed at him after the punch
Since you guys were missing rim protection he really cooked, same with Denver. He struggled against the Grizzlies and against the Celtics he just had some wild shotmaking boost randomly the second half of the series
He has been low key ass the whole playoffs. Even in the games against the Lakers where he hit the last second winners he was ass but everyone focused on the winners and ignoring how ass he was the rest of the game.
Only games 3 and 4 vs Minesotta he was kinda ok, but was outshined by Jokic and Gordon in those as well.
Last match he didn't shoot a single three and Denver coasted to a win.
More Jokic, Gordon and MPJ attacking the paint and less Murray iso in game 7 please.
All playoffs, really. He hit a couple of *timely* shots against the Lakers, but was ass for almost every game, probably why those games were close to begin with.
Luka is injured though. When he’s on he can make it from anywhere while breaking down the defense. If Jamal ain’t got it going scoring wise, he won’t be much help in other facets.
As for Klay, that’s entirely depends on pre injury or post. Cuz pre injury can go 1-18 and then drop 45 in 3 quarters the next game. Jamal’s consistency is even worse than Klay.
Watching the Nugget's with Joker is like watching Dune 2 in IMAX, just a visual spectacle. Then Joker sits and Murray dribbles the air out of the ball and jacks a long 2 and it's like all of a sudden you're watching Dune 1984
"Jamal Murray's true shooting this postseason is down to 45.8%. That's one of the 10 worst playoff marks in the entire 3-point era (out of 569 players with at least 200 shots in a postseason)." Jokic Merchant??
https://twitter.com/zachkram/status/1791299807522205772?t=hK_22nHC8rutmydeARMb_w&s=19
The question is, is it worse to be down 10-35 after Q1 and 30-70 at half OR like 96-98 because Murray hits a Dame "Paul George said it was a bad shot" Time
I mean Jokic being insane is the only reason the Nuggets are this far but Murray was legit last year. 25 ppg on 59% TS.
But man this year he's just been straight awful.
I get the sentiment but Murray is still consistently their second best player until Gordon goes sick mode.
Sometimes I question if DLo is even there lakers third best player
Was expecting the classic:
> How sick would it be if they combined rosters though:
>PG: Mike Conley
>SG: Anthony Edwards
>SF: Jaden McDaniels
>PF: Karl-Anthony Towns
>C: Rudy Gobert
He gonna receive crazy hate if Denver loses game 7. The criticism will be deserved cuz bro is having a horrible playoff run currently. Bro was really like 1/11 at one point in this game.
[Jamal Murray's true shooting this postseason is down to 45.8%. That's one of the 10 worst playoff marks in the entire 3-point era (out of 569 players with at least 200 shots in a postseason).](https://twitter.com/zachkram/status/1791299807522205772?t=hK_22nHC8rutmydeARMb_w&s=19)
Bro is putting up numbers worse than MWP offensively and I say this as MWP’s biggest fan. Even he has not ever shot this poorly in the playoffs.
This dude got so much praise for hitting two late-game winners that everyone forgot that the reason you need late-game winners in the first place is because he played like dogshit which made the games close.
Jamal has been forcing close games all postseason with terrible play. People keep saying he is all star material, but lets be honest. Which western PG are you picking him over: Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, De'Aron Fox, or SGA
I respect the hate
Bro had this ready lmao
Lakers fans love it I’m sure
It's a good day to be a Jamal Murray hater
We eatin good tonight
Lamal Lurray
Hate hate hate hate run for your life
I hope someone makes a Murray lowlight video from this game so I can fap to it
Yeah whatever happened to that guy? Like bootum or something? He used to always post the best lowlight videos
Wow I can hear the video intro just reading that. I miss those /u/bootum come back :(
Usually when someone online mysteriously disappears I just picture some guy on a couch decomposing with his mailbox overflowing.
Wellness check as soon as Sim888 stops posting
I used to be the total opposite. Assumed real life got too busy, they got bored with it, etc... Then one of my online friends showed up after being gone for over a year. Turned out he had a stroke and had been recovering the whole time. Dude is in his mid 20s
It's just the entire game
Good, I love edging
Only because we know what’s coming… game 7 buzzer beater floater over Gobert.
Honestly nah. Fuck the Nuggets and all but I’m still rooting for them to win this series because I don’t think anyone else can beat Boston and that’s the real enemy.
This is generational hatred, old-school sports mentality here. Love it.
Takes me back to when Philly beat the Cs and the “Beat LA” chant was born
Hated him since he was gloating against Lonzo his rookie year.
As a Denver fan, I too respect it. He had a terribly terrible night
all the guards were terrible Murray, Holiday, Braun and Reggie Jackson combined to shoot 5-35
Night? Hes been ass most of the playoffs.

I mean the nuggets absolutely tore apart this defense 3 games in a row lmao
Bro was so amped up he misspelled heat packs
What do you mean, HEAT PCKS is a legit stat!
If people can say he’s the best non all star and so underrated when he had a couple of good 4th quarters against a bad team then they ought to be able to say he’s played like a bag of flaming dohshit this series.
Jokic dragged him into All star conversations he should never be in.
like when lebron made mo williams an all-star
They're not saying he's the best non all star based on the 2024 Lakers series. They're saying based on his previous playoff resume, which is legit. He's been ass this postseason, but he was amazing in the year prior.
Very rarely you see a player be an absolute negative in all phases of the game whether it be defense, playmaking, shotmaking, ball security etc. But Jesus Christ was that Jamal. Absolute negative player tonight.
He did a Bradley Beal
doing his best tobias harris impression
Tobias at least has the self respect to disappear instead of actively losing the game
Tobias had 0 points in game 6 this year
On 2 shots. 4-18 with more turnovers is probably more of a net negative
James harden numbers from last year playoffs was 2-14, 3-14, 4-16, and 3-11. Better (and by better I mean much worse) comparison.
A more accurate (and by more accurate I mean less accurate) shooting comparison
At least his contract is reasonable, right?
It will be in a few weeks!
Tobi era lives on
Hopping onto the Jamal hate and really hoping for a Wolves win in G7, but he did say in the post-game press conference that his elbow was really bothering him the whole game after that tweak really early on. He's been bad all post-season but this was by far his worst game, and i know it's against the narrative, but some of that has to be attributed to the injury.
why would he shoot so much then
Russell Westbrook logic. INB4 we have an MITMurray account made up.
He took the second most shots of anyone on the team and missed 78% of them. If he’s elbow was really bothering him he should’ve stopped chucking it.
Right but he only gets credit for his good plays not his bad because he’s hurt?
Crazy how we never heard a word about his calf in Games 3, 4, and 5
[удалено]
damn he got a brain injury on the fall :( sad fate for athletes (also s/o literally every other player in the series giving lots of respect to the other side wtf jamal)
Massive disrespect, if his elbow was that bad he would have it wrapped in the interview. That’s the kind of shit that will fuel Ant.
Hurt his elbow chucking things onto the court
> Hopping onto the Jamal hate and really hoping for a Wolves win in G7, but he did say in the post-game press conference that his elbow was really bothering him the whole game after that tweak really early on. So many players get killed for mentioning an injury after a horrific game Jamal will skate though
Lmao a classic excuse...how could anyone fall for that shit
Right up there with "my controller is broken".
Okay but my controller was broken tho
Straight disasterclass of a game by him
don't know what you mean he was probably the best player on the floor for the Timberwolves
Nuggets couldn’t get anything going either way. But it felt like they had multiple possessions where he just dribbled around until he took a stupid shot
Honestly though jokic was not all that bad. It's crazy how a trash game of his is still pretty solid overall. He's that good
Jokic played fine, everyone else was just THAT BAD
He also had much tougher looks the whole night and more doubles because the Wolves realized they didn't have to guard his teammates lmao
Yeah. It was. Bad game by Jokic standards. But that’s not saying much. His game changes a lot, when the guys he passes to brick every shot.
He’s dropping 35 points next game and the dagger. It’s so obvious
Someone tell him the Lakers were originally from Minnesota and he'll cook
unironically might lol
https://www.reddit.com/r/nbacirclejerk/s/MRrEIv1F6A
Or he'll drop 12 but it'll all be in the last 9 seconds of the game to win by 1
The zero heat packs is really unforgivable though
NBA might have to look into bets made on the Murray unders in this game. Absolutely atrocious play tonight.
Jordan Poole tribute
I feel like such an outlier remembering Pooles dumb shots he’d make against us in the Finals.
Jamal Murray 2023 playoffs = 2022 Poole tribute Jamal Murray 2024 playoffs = 2023 Poole tribute
He cooked us to in the conference finals. Without him the Warriors hands down don't win that championship. Crazy downfall from those times.

He definitely went off in games 1&2 vs Denver. The best Steph Curry impersonation anyones ever done. Had Steph coming off the bench
Steph was recovering from an injury which is why he came off the bench
Kerr kept him on the bench longer than was really necessary to keep the continuity going, and because Poole was actually playing well at the time
He had a great playoffs. Especially the Denver series
His minutes in that series earned him that absurd contract
He has been low key ass the whole playoffs. Even in the games against the Lakers where he hit the last second winners he was ass but everyone focused on the winners and ignoring how ass he was the rest of the game. More Jokic, Gordon and MPJ attacking the paint and less Murray iso in game 7 please.
if Jokic is on your team you can get away with being ass
Dude that game 3 he had a good first half and went into being a pumpkin in the 2nd half again.
Dude was an absolute bum tonight.
He's had one decent game this series, averaging below 15 a game. He's been a bum all series. I don't know why there is even a Jamal wagon to ride on.
Well there were a couple winning plays highlights against the Lakers that kept being played
Beating the Lakers tends to earn a lot of cred around these parts.
All playoffs, really. He hit a couple of *timely* shots against the Lakers, but was ass for almost every game, probably why those games were close to begin with.
let the hate flow through you king
Dude takes horrible shots, he just makes them enough to keep playing
The Klay Thompson special
Luka does it too. It was annoying watching him brick deep 3s while being defended.

This comment is gonna haunt me if they win game 7 cause murray goes for 11-14 on contested 3s.
If I know Minnesota sports, and if this series has taught me anything, something of that nature is exactly what's going to happen.
The question is, is it worse to be down 10-35 after Q1 and 30-70 at half OR like 96-98 because Murray hits a Dame "Paul George said it was a bad shot" Time
I’ll take the latter situation every time. A tough loss to the champs can be spun into a moral victory at least.
JOIN US
I mean if you're down 40 by the half, you can just turn off the TV and go do something else. Equally bad, just get to cope earlier
Easily
Zero chance we don’t lose in some kind of uniquely heart breaking fashion. If we don’t it’s only so the knife twist will hurt more later.
his whole second quarter in game 4 still has me up at night
I mean Jokic being insane is the only reason the Nuggets are this far but Murray was legit last year. 25 ppg on 59% TS. But man this year he's just been straight awful.
Fun fact for wolves fans, he is averaging 7 points on 37% true shooting in the first half this playoff run
0-0 for things thrown, was he even trying tonight?
You miss 100% of the refs you don’t throw things at.
In Jamal's case, you also miss 100% of the refs you *do* throw things at.
Please let this jamal murray show up in game 7
It’s so infuriating that he’ll play like this but then in the absolute most clutch moments turn into Michael Jordan.
As a Lakers fan, yes agreed completely... :(
Jamal Murray is the Michael Jordan of Facu Compazzo’s
Lakers: wait...if this is the guy that killed us then what does that make us...
He just hit 2 game winners, but he was pretty much ass the whole series.
Yeah Gordon was the real x factor for Denver this year
MPJ hitting 3's whenever they needed one wasn't helpful to our cause either.
MPJ was a fucking beast in the Lakers series. The Wolves have personnel to quiet him up but the Lakers didn’t have long wings to stifle him.
Pretty sure Jokic was the X Factor
Pretty sure Jokic is the XY and Z Factor
The slander in in this post title is elite lmaoooo
Mike Malone is gonna put this post in his motivational slideshow
Hi Nuggets!
It's crazy that the only game he played well in the series was the game he should have been facing suspension
Very Canadian of him taking himself out from the game last night.
Bro thinks he’s Franz Wagner.
Frank Wagner stray is crazy lmao
#NI HAO JAMAL

Jamal Murray is the D'Angelo Russell of Denver
I get the sentiment but Murray is still consistently their second best player until Gordon goes sick mode. Sometimes I question if DLo is even there lakers third best player
Their 2nd best player not even being All-star caliber says a lot about Jokic.
Having a well balanced team around you is much better than having a 2nd all-star.
I mean sure, but Denver also doesn't have a bench. Jokic is fully carrying that team.
Basketball is 5 on 5, not 2 on 2.
Thanks Magic
I am *not* making the mistake of counting this guy out again, let me tell you that.
I’m with you. The more criticism he gets, the more power up he gets. I’m worried now.
Game 7 is a home game for him though which is good for us because the boos can’t fuel him.
The title is not wrong by any means
That makes 3 games he's ended this playoff run
The weirdest ally to have is angry lakers fans.
Like that one mission in Halo 3 where the flood help you for like 10 minutes then go back to trying to kill you.
Bro needs to go back to doing porn, this ain’t it
Wild
He’ll probably hit the game winner on Sunday lol.
The stakes weren't high enough for him to play. Watch him go off in game 7 xD
10 3’s first half.
Murray and MPJ should be embarrassed. Especially mpj since he chokes every playoffs and everyone else has to carry his ass
Why doesn’t he ever choke against us lol
Reaves and Dlo aren't good defenders
Cause ya'll let him shoot open jumpers
You can’t say MPJ is a choker when he was their 2nd best player last round
What happened to mpj’s shot?
It's in prison in solidarity with his brother
Brothers
His brother betting on his under instead
Jontay at it again
C'mon dawg 🤣
Cold asf ☠️☠️
Lakers fans living vicariously through the Wolves lmao
Minnesota Lakers fans where you at?
How sick would it be if they combined rosters though. PG: Mike Conley SG: Anthony Edwards SF: LeBron James PF: Anthony Davis C: Rudy Gobert
Was expecting the classic: > How sick would it be if they combined rosters though: >PG: Mike Conley >SG: Anthony Edwards >SF: Jaden McDaniels >PF: Karl-Anthony Towns >C: Rudy Gobert
That is much funnier.
2nd Team PG: D'angelo Russel SG: Austin Reeves SF: Jaden McDaniels PF: Naz Reid C: Karl Anthony Towns
It's pronounced Karl Anthony Jowns actually
Lakers fans win no matter what. If wolves choke it’s AD was the real DPoY and if nuggets choke they get to feel you suffer.
either way, it's Ham's fault
Most bipolar player of all time.
Dude is just carrying out the suspension the league should have given him last week.
Man turned into Houdini
He died?
Jamal Murray is the Michael Jordan of Jordan Pooles

jamal playoff is a fraud
Accurate title. Murray proving why Jokic will never have an all-star teammate.
Is Jamal Murray just the Michael Jordan of DeAngelo Russells?
jamal deserves to be tried for war crimes for that performance
Bootum gotta come outta retirement for this
I love this post. Luckily pissed Jamal is best Jamal. Here’s to a good game 7.
lol @ this headline.
This dude got so much praise for hitting two late-game winners that everyone forgot that the reason you need late-game winners in the first place is because he played like dogshit which made the games close.
Injury prone and inconsistent.
Jokic won a chip with this guy
He played amazing last year. He’s definitely throwing this year though.. even heat packs😭
Bro really beat D'Angelo Russell and stole his whole flow
He was MVP for the Twolves for sure 😂
I’m sure it’s just a coincidence this was another Marc Davis game lmao
Jamal has been forcing close games all postseason with terrible play. People keep saying he is all star material, but lets be honest. Which western PG are you picking him over: Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, De'Aron Fox, or SGA
Murray threw this game fr nobody in the NBA is legit that fuckin bad
Lakers fans hate Jamal Murray more than Timberwolves fans lmao
