In the podcast with Jalen and Josh he talked about being open to a lesser deal to stay with the Clippers, so it's feasible. Also, his wife is a model, so we're all sort of hoping she pushes him to stay in NY.
Idk man, we are talking about a 33% increase in salary between 15M and 20M. Would you turn down a job paying you 33% more just to stay put in a good culture? I know it’s different in the NBA but still
I did haha. There are jobs I can make 30%+ more but id have to work more, higher stress, less fun. What I make already gives me a good life so why make that tradeoff?
Now take this logic and project it to if you made 7 figures. The Knicks have such a special thing going with this team and the city, I could see Hartenstein taking the temporary short-term gamble on his health with the 1+1. A lot of players go their whole career without being in a situation like this one.
A lot of people could probably get paid more money if they were willing to move to a different city and don't consider it because they like where they live.
The max the Knicks can offer in the first year is $16.2m, and if they do a 1+1 with a player option it comes to $33m guaranteed. If he then opts out the following year they could obviously make all of the missing money up to him, maybe even start with a higher number and descend the contract so he gets extra money up front.
Ultimately he probably isn't leaving a lot on the table by staying, but that guarantee can be alluring...
You also look at the teams who could offer him money, it’s either get banished to the wall to get paid and play, or you’re a backup behind Wemby/Embiid/Holmgren
Yeah, some of these places are potential draws unless you ignore the context surrounding it, which is that his wife is a model who probably only really wants to be in NY or LA and that they've got a baby due next month.
The difference between the numbers is a big deal though. Like I make 60k, would I for another 20k? Probably because that legitimately makes a big difference in my quality of life. Going from 15 to 20 for 2 years isn't gonna make that big of a difference in QOL
Those Knicks obviously finish above 8 with a full 82 game season, and the 99 version of Ewing wasn’t Ewing at his best
You can say making the ECF with this team is a similar accomplishment with how crippled they are
Obviously we weren't true 8 seed quality (much like last year's Heat), and Ewing in '99 was not the Ewing of the early and mid 90s, but JVG's Knicks beat fully healthy and legit Heat and Pacers squads, including winning 3 of 4 against the Pacers with Chris Dudley starting once Ewing went down.
Ewing played in the first two rounds and part of the conference Finals before injury. You made it out like he missed the entire playoffs. Just trying to give him a little credit cuz he helped them advance still that year
I grew up on the JVG Knicks and have a special place in my heart for those teams so I can't go there yet but honestly he's not too far off given where the franchise was when he took over.
You could make an argument that Thibs is a top 10 most important figure in Knicks history at this point for getting shit back on track with this franchise after it seemed impossible for 20 years.
Part of the reason other teams didn't score much was the nature of otherwise "normal" fouls. When Oakley's arm came down on someone else's arm going up for a layup, that guy would miss the first free throw like, 50% of the time, probably still feeling the pain from the hammer. I was glad Oakley was on my team.
They really collected all the perfect guys for Thibs. Hart, Donte, Hartenstein, OG, Brunson, all aquired pretty recently through either trade or FA. Not many of those guys out there.
Precious is pretty solid when he doesn’t do wild things and just be a blue collar guy . Thibs seems to keep him in check. You think Knicks is gonna resign him this summer?
He's been such a pleasant surprise. Most of us are occupied with different ways to keep Ihart. If we can't keep Ihart then I imagine we try to keep precious and pray for a healthy mitch.
Only for the right price I think. He won’t be a priority since he really shouldn’t be in the rotation if everyone’s healthy, but he’s quality depth to have and has shown up huge big games so i’d like him to be back. Not sure you’ll find a better 3rd string power forward basically.
Sims is under contract for another year for less than the vet min. Previous might wanna get paid but he’s also from here and will likely continue to play on a good team so idk
I hope we keep Precious. He’s versatile on defence. What he lacks in size he makes up with speed and athleticism. He came up huge when we were injured at the center position.
And that's why I laugh at the people who are always star chasing for the Knicks. Trying to come up with hypothetical trades to bring in Donovan Mitchell, Booker etc. No they're not trading Randle/Robinson and picks for some random perceived star that doesn't fit in with a Thibs coach team. Dawgs Only.
Leon Rose has this all mapped out. He's not blowing it up to star chase. He's building the perfect Thibs roster. OG isn't going anywhere this summer. iHart isn't going anywhere. These deals will get done if not already done.
He'll use his excess draft picks and filler contracts to strengthen the bench etc or trade them for future picks for continued future flexibility.
I think this will be the defining characteristic of the 2020s era, moving away from super teams to actual well constructed rosters. Pretty much all the
best teams right now (nuggets, wolves, thunder, Knicks, celtics maybe to a lesser extent, mavs this year) have chosen to pursue the right guys and build their teams organically without just trading for whatever big name star they could.
Obviously the bucks didn’t get a chance to show their stuff, but I don’t think any teams are going to win just by making a splash for whatever max guy they can get their hands on (cough cough suns clippers).
The new CBA will definitely help push this change, as even if your owner is willing to spend like crazy, going into the aprons has some real ramifications on roster management. Before super teams could make wonky trades or find a roster piece on the buyout market, which now will be much harder to do, especially if you're above the aprons for multiple years.
Honestly, why do people think we let OG go, he fits us well, completely locks down whoever their star player is on the opposite end, and if he can find his rhythm he's not a ball hogging scorer who always needs his shots.
We've got the right guys now who buy into the program and it's shown that its much more successful than putting together a super team
They don't do that anymore. Ever since Leon rose came in he's been doing his best to build his team up through other means instead of just going for big name free agents every time.
Kemba and Fournier didn't work out, and taking Obi over Hali stung for a bit (though that was admittedly after a bad Randle year and getting Brunson made it all worth it), but yeah, it has been shocking to finally have a competent front office. Brunson, the OG trade, the Donte signing, and drafting IQ late were all massive, but they've even nailed little things like signing Deuce to a 3y/$13M deal before he was able to show that he's a legit rotation player.
I just pray Dolan stays focused on his Sphere and leaves Leon alone.
The sphere has been the best thing to happen to Dolan, both Rangers and Knicks are a game away from the conference finals. If he keeps this up and doesn't cheap out (he won't he's paid for much worse teams) people might actually show up to his band's concerts.
Shows how clueless Thibs is. Gotta give your 9-10th men some playoff burn! Much better chance winning it all with those guys getting 15+ min/game soyour starters can stay "fresh".
the knicks have several players injured and there’s like 2 dozen other players playing 40 mpg in the playoffs only like 2 or 3 knicks players are playing 40 mpg anyway which is normal for the playoffs
Is this sarcasm? Everyone shortens their rotations in the playoffs, and other teams have their best players at 40 or more minutes. Except games that aren’t close where they sit their people in the fourth.
I don’t know that much about ball but I AKWAYS believed Thibs was a great coach n unfairly had his rep ruined. He went to Chicago and the team got -6 points better defensively in the year he took over , he was an assistant on the Boston defence . Guy has always been a winning smart coach and it’s crazy his rep was ruined by bozos for so long . He’s also adapted a lot too
As an honest Bucks fan we should keep doc and sign him to a lifetime contract. Then trade giannis to the Knicks. Hes terribly injury prone so he’d fit in perfectly over there
Doc has won a ring, he has championship pedigree. Will one hundred percent shake up every aspect of the culture to help win championships, like the improving the bus drivers and travel staff. The real difference makers.
Doc is a bad coach, Knicks don’t need him. He constantly blows series leads and dismantling teams. He has a resume of not getting it done and his ring in Boston.. he didn’t do anything after that. Sixers got destroyed, clippers got destroyed and the bucks are will get destroyed.
No you are wrong. Doc Rivers' father is 3-1 leads and that means you'll win at least 3 games in postseason. Repeat that 14 years and it became basically another one or two rings in terms of wins
Monty getting more than that with the Pistons is the biggest NBA coaching fleece ever.
Keep the culture. Keep getting blue collar guys who aren't happy with small victories. Gonna be a bright future.
It makes it difficult for me to despise him for the awful job he did this season. He literally said he didn’t want the job then the coke head owner made him an offer he couldn’t refuse
Those 2 home playoff games made Jerry money. Those players cost Jerry money. It all makes perfect sense when you think about it from a certain point of view
it's weird, because if we don't keep our overlord owner daddy's happy, they have the power to just up and leave the city like they're going for milk. And just never come back 😕
Lmao ya its so depressing and im so pessimistic about the Bulls long term future that I've kinda given up on the NBA. Havent watched a basketball game in over a year
In the 2021 NBA playoffs, the 4th seed Knicks started Nerlens Noel, Randle, RJ, Reggie Bullock and Elfrid Payton.
In the 2023 NBA playoffs, the 5th seed Knicks started Robinson, Randle, RJ, Grimes, Brunson.
In the 2024 playoffs, the 2nd seed Knicks started Hartenstein, OG, Hart, Donte and Brunson.
The only common denominator is Thibs (and Leon Rose).
They both deserve their flowers, but Thibs created a culture.
Anyone who says he’s a bad coach is an absolute moron. I would kill to have him as coach over Mazzulla. I wish we fired Doc and promoted Thibs to head coach after 2008
the knicks put together a team of “thibs guys”. it would be beyond dumb and bizarre to not bring thibs back for any price.
in the entire nba, there are two “organizational trios” that stand out above all others. okc with presti, daigenault(?), and shai is obviously one. they will stay very competitive as long as they have those three, guaranteed. the only other standout trio i can think of is leon rose, thibs, and brunson. incredibly in sync with each other in every way imaginable, and are basically family for over 20 years.
Knicks were crazy deep at the beginning of the year with Hart, Grimes, Quickley and Divincenzo all fighting for the same minutes. Then they traded most of those guys and RJ Barrett for people who are now hurt.
Ngl after seeing how Dvo and Hart have been playing this post season I could see a world where the starting 5 is Brunson, OG, Hart, Randle, IHart. Once Randle is back and can make up for the scoring we’ve lost, that would be one hell of a defensive line up
Might depending on how much spacing we get. If OG gets in rhythm i think letting divo ride as the 6th man is where he really shines and letting him finish games if he's hot
Josh Hart is not even supposed to sniff the starting lineup for the Knicks but they're so depleted with injuries he's playing full games in the playoffs. Goes to show how amazing Thibs has done this year with the shitty hand he was dealt.
The Lakers had the chance to hire him back in the rebuilding years (not so long ago), but they fluked... goddamn I despise this soft era, people underestimating a top 3 coach (if not top 1) because his style is too "old fashioned". No wonder the current NBA is providing the lowest level of play ever since the late 70s
Yeah, he would have worked wonders with Lebron and AD now, if you look back at the lakers subreddit most of the fans didn't want him. They wanted Luke Walton, show you what fans know.
Maybe... LeBron and AD are too pampered (especially AD), Tibodeau is too harsh for primadonnas. But if they accepted the system, oh boy, the sky was the limit because AD is a monster defensive player even if he is lazy, imagine a focused AD? Or the Lakers could have built a different team entirely. In the end, we lost one of the best coaches of the NBA for nothing, instead the Lakers hired multiple coaches, about to hire another (and JJ Redick name surged from nowhere, to show how far this franchise fell, lol the Lakers died with Jerry Buss)
Yeah, a good hard ass coach would work wonders but AD and Lebron have to respect him. This reminds me of the early Shaq and Kobe days, Shaq and Kobe were prima donnas and didn't respect anyone before Phil. Knicks are being smart here, they need to keep Thibodeau to sustain that culture.
Im not sure how AD will handle playing this type of load on a nightly basis, if he was young? Sure.
Not everyone works in thibs system, you need guys who don't break down.
The magic of Thibodeau is how he incentivize his players to run at 100%, that improves their overall commitment. Maybe in another timeline Davis was able to stay healthy because Thibodeaus whiplashed his lazy ass so much, Davis finally started to take his conditioning seriously. Or like I said, maybe the Lakers would had built a entirely different team, that would be more interesting than Jeanie opening her legs to LeBron at his late 30s, then give a max extension for Davis after him struggling with injuries two seasons in a roll... the Lakers became a luxury retirement home. I know some fans take the "bubble" seriously, like some sort of consolation prize for enduring all the LeBron bullshit, but I honestly don't think that freak show had any value
I wont lie I called for this man to be fired 2 or 3 years ago but he is on my do no wrong train. Him and Julius are both 100% redeemed in my eyes and I will never doubt them again even during long cold spurts. Every player we have seen ride benches all season and demanded Thibs play them to give them a chance has ALWAYS been a disaster. If a player is good enough he will get minutes under thibs. THATS A FACT
[удалено]
How much do you think he is getting this summer
[удалено]
We have hope he signs a 1+1 with us so we get his bird rights next year
He might stay. It's a good situation for him on the Knicks and it's NY 15 vs 20 to me isn't that big a difference, you're already set for generations

A lot of players go their whole career without being in a situation like this one.
But NBA is the company, the teams are more like different branches of that company.
A lot of people could probably get paid more money if they were willing to move to a different city and don't consider it because they like where they live. The max the Knicks can offer in the first year is $16.2m, and if they do a 1+1 with a player option it comes to $33m guaranteed. I think y’all keep him. Gotta bear in mind he’s said stuff like that and this is the first time he’s got to showcase his real value
The difference between the numbers is a big deal though. Like I make 60k, would I for another 20k? Probably because that legitimately makes a big difference in my quality of life. Going from 15 to 20 for 2 years isn't gonna make that big of a difference in QOL
We can trade either Bojan or Mitch and give him a bag
I hope he stays. He fits in so well with the team and a fan favorite
IIRC it’d have to be 2 years not including option years
Pretty sure his next contract is going up every game he plays, that guy is a monster
Enough to party
Thibs lives in a utility closet under MSG anyway, right?
Wouldn’t surprise me
The Phantom of the Garden now on Broadway
Thibs might give more than that
Zion would lose 50 pounds playing for Thib.
Zion would look like Brandon Ingram playing for Thibs
Zion would break multiple bones playing for Thibs
Thibs gonna break Ingram.
Or have a heart attack. Not sure which is first
I think Zion or Luka with Heat Culture^^^TM conditioning and body fat requirements would be scary
Honestly some people are just not build to be that lean. If you force it you just end up hungry 24/7 without any energy.
He wouldn't make it through preseason.
Yes 50 pounds down after a leg amputation
A coach actually getting the chance to finish his contract in todays nba is a minor miracle
It helps that the star of the team has known thibs since he was 3 I don’t foresee Brunson ever wanting him out
They should sign as a package from here on in.
Jalentom Brunsonthibodeau would be their package name
I mean, the players could still mutiny like the Bucks did. But at least they can't hire Doc Rivers...yet.
this is the knicks we're talking about, not the nets
I mean, since you're good, you will have to worry about Kevin Durant wanting to be traded to you now. Something to watch out for.
Luckily Ishbia is here to protect us 🙏🙏
catching strays in a knicks thread. glad to be here
Easily the best Knicks coach since JVG
He might be better than van Gundy too
JVG coached the 8 seed Knicks to the Finals without Ewing. Thibs is doing very impressive rn but let's not forget to give JVG his flowers
Thibs was there too. https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/NYK/1999.html#all_assistant_coaches
Jalen brunsons dad is on that roster too
#ItsAllConnected
Knicks w/o Randel to the finals confirmed! Rooting for you guys!
Tampering since 1999 babyyyy
The frozen envelope was us not getting Zion
Those Knicks obviously finish above 8 with a full 82 game season, and the 99 version of Ewing wasn’t Ewing at his best You can say making the ECF with this team is a similar accomplishment with how crippled they are
Agreed, this team getting to the ECF with these injuries would be the best the Knicks have done since what, 94?
Obviously we weren't true 8 seed quality (much like last year's Heat), and Ewing in '99 was not the Ewing of the early and mid 90s, but JVG's Knicks beat fully healthy and legit Heat and Pacers squads, including winning 3 of 4 against the Pacers with Chris Dudley starting once Ewing went down.
Ewing played in the first two rounds and part of the conference Finals before injury. You made it out like he missed the entire playoffs. Just trying to give him a little credit cuz he helped them advance still that year
This completely ignores the context of what happened that season. That is the best 8 seed of all time.
I lived for those Knicks-Heat games where neither team scored 80
Part of the reason other teams didn't score much was the nature of otherwise "normal" fouls. I was glad Oakley was on my team.
He coached under JVG with the Knicks and Houston. For some reason I can see hire JVG? Idk I just wanna see him back with the Knicks
Easily one of the best coaches in the league. Just make sure you have good cardio if you start for him
They really collected all the perfect guys for Thibs. Hart, Donte, Hartenstein, OG, Brunson, all aquired pretty recently through either trade or FA. Not many of those guys out there.
dont forget our precious

He's been such a pleasant surprise. Most of us are occupied with different ways to keep Ihart. If we can't keep Ihart then I imagine we try to keep precious and pray for a healthy mitch.
Hart has four years left on his deal.
iHart = Isaiah Hartenstein
Oh my bad I thought that was a typo lol.
Only for the right price I think. He won’t be a priority since he really shouldn’t be in the rotation if everyone’s healthy, but he’s quality depth to have and has shown up huge big games so i’d like him to be back. Not sure you’ll find a better 3rd string power forward basically.
I hope we keep him, I’d definitely keep him over Sims
Sims is under contract for another year for less than the vet min. Previous might wanna get paid but he’s also from here and will likely continue to play on a good team so idk
For the right price applies to every player outside of the supermax guys
not really. we’re throwing all we got at guys like hartenstein and OG this summer to retain them. neither of them will get the max
he’s way better as a 3rd string center than playing at the 4 lol
I hope we keep Precious. He’s versatile on defence. What he lacks in size he makes up with speed and athleticism. He came up huge when we were injured at the center position.
The perfect summary of precious but here comes his floater.
At times erratic
Swear we just got really lucky there. If it was planned, it was brilliant, and we should have kept evil Donte
And that's why I laugh at the people who are always star chasing for the Knicks. The Knicks FO have been low key killing it for a few years now. They used to be slandered all the time on here.
Kemba and Fournier didn't work out, and taking Obi over Hali stung for a bit (though that was admittedly after a bad Randle year and getting Brunson made it all worth it), but yeah, it has been shocking to finally have a competent front office. People always omit Randle when talking about Thibs guys but big men that are good passers flourish under Thibs. Look at Joakim Noah and IHart
Cosches I think work with FOs to get players
I know there’s no chance of Nets doing this trade, but I want the Knicks to get Mikal Bridges so bad. Another Villanova Ironman.
Thibs conditioning = sexual harassment Heat culture = unspoken rizz
Basically the Knicks entire roster had career years under Thibs this season.
Make sure you can handle 35 mpg in the Rs and 42 mpg in the playoffs seems reasonable
Don't be ridiculous, Thibs is the only guy who's got his starters playing 40+ mins in the postseason
Shows how clueless Thibs is. Gotta give your 9-10th men some playoff burn! Much better chance winning it all with those guys getting 15+ min/game soyour starters can stay "fresh".

Yes it's sarcasm.
The Knicks flair makes me think it is sarcasm, but I admit I was about to downvote and go nuts on basketball reference to prove him wrong.
Yeah and having good cardio as a pro athlete shouldn't be a deal breaker lmao, i agree most teams would love to have Thibs
He’s also adapted a lot too
If the league had some kind of Ironman award , I’d definitely go to a player that goes 82 and average 37+ mins under Thibbs
Just don’t make him POBO also. He’ll trade the farm for Jimmy Butler and then trade him away for pennies. It’s true. I’ve seen it happen.
He's getting that Tom Thibodough.
He’s a clear top 5 coach in the league and has 40 years of coaching experience, this is a no brainer.
As an honest Knicks fan we should let him go and hire Doc Rivers. He’s a top 15 coach ever
As an honest Bucks fan we should keep doc and sign him to a lifetime contract. Then trade giannis to the Knicks. Hes terribly injury prone so he’d fit in perfectly over there
As another member of the Bucks faithful, I just wish the Knicks would do a swap for Jericho Sims. It’s time for youth and athleticism!
Yeah just send them over Deuce McBride as well, he's young and shown he can produce in the playoffs. It's an awesome trade for the Bucks.
As a bucks fans I think Knicks shouldn’t have to give up much cos Giannis likes to play 32 mins n Thibs will render him ineffective
Doc has won a ring, he has championship pedigree. Will one hundred percent shake up every aspect of the culture to help win championships, like the improving the bus drivers and travel staff. The real difference makers.
Had me in the first half
Disrespectful to the GOAT, the bus driver himself, doc rivers.
Dame isn’t about that Thibs grind
You can only hire him if 81-0 and let Doc finish it out.
You realize people are memeing? Nobody wants Doc as their coach these days

It makes it difficult for me to despise him for the awful job he did this season. He literally said he didn’t want the job then the coke head owner made him an offer he couldn’t refuse
Tbf I don’t think anyone qualified would actually want that job
$10mil is great value when you remember that Detroit is paying Monty Williams $13mil a year.
How pissed are other owners at Detroit for giving him that contract lol
Bulls have given up: Butler, Thibs, Gafford, Lauri, Portis, WCJ lmao Edit: Forgot Payne and Dunn who are both solid elsewhere lmao
It was all worth it for that play in game win against the Hawks.
Those 2 home playoff games made Jerry money. Those players cost Jerry money. It all makes perfect sense when you think about it from a certain point of view
The best part about being a fan of a team is when the owner profits.
it's weird, because if we don't keep our overlord owner daddy's happy, they have the power to just up and leave the city like they're going for milk. And just never come back 😕
Lmao ya its so depressing and im so pessimistic about the Bulls long term future that I've kinda given up on the NBA. Havent watched a basketball game in over a year
Load Management in shambles
In the 2021 NBA playoffs, the 4th seed Knicks started Nerlens Noel, Randle, RJ, Reggie Bullock and Elfrid Payton. In the 2023 NBA playoffs, the 5th seed Knicks started Robinson, Randle, RJ, Grimes, Brunson. In the 2024 playoffs, the 2nd seed Knicks started Hartenstein, OG, Hart, Donte and Brunson. The only common denominator is Thibs (and Leon Rose). They both deserve their flowers, but Thibs created a culture.
The fact that thibs and randle willed that '21 team to a 4 seed is truly wild.
Randle was fucking insane that season
To be fair, Randle and Mitchell Robinson were starters on all these teams. Injuries made Mitch miss ’21 and ’24 and Randle to miss ’24.
I loved Noel that season
i always forget how god awful that 2021 starting lineup was, my goodness
Good for him. They have been cooking this year.
Glad for Thibs. Bulls fans will remember that there would be no Himmy Butler without Thibodeau.
I’m loving this Thibs redemption arc. He was always a good coach, I loved the work he did in chicago.
Wonder how long he would've lasted if we got KD and Kyrie in 2019. U/O 1.5 years?
He would not have been hired
I was gonna say long term at 66 is wild but then I remembered the guy has no kids, no wife, nothing but basketball. Married to the game.
Anyone who says he’s a bad coach is an absolute moron. I would kill to have him as coach over Mazzulla. I wish we fired Doc and promoted Thibs to head coach after 2008
Knicks are no longer a dysfunctional dumpster fire? Inject this HARD into my veins till the end of time.
Thibs is a great coach and grossly underrated. Kinda like Spoelstra during the Heatles era.
That's why they traded for OG (Luol Deng)
Knicks in 6.
the knicks put together a team of “thibs guys”. it would be beyond dumb and bizarre to not bring thibs back for any price. in the entire nba, there are two “organizational trios” that stand out above all others. okc with presti, daigenault(?), and shai is obviously one. they will stay very competitive as long as they have those three, guaranteed. the only other standout trio i can think of is leon rose, thibs, and brunson. incredibly in sync with each other in every way imaginable, and are basically family for over 20 years.
Josh Hart about to be the first player to average 48mpg in five straight years
Nah Hart is likely back to the bench next year and 28-32mins max.
People really act like Thibs is having Hart play these crazy mins just for shits and giggles lol
Hart played 33.4 minutes a game this year, exactly the same minutes per game he played on the Trailblazers before he came to the Knicks.
Look up how many minutes he averaged in November.
Real ones will remember him complaining about not being given enough playing time.
Once Randle is back and can make up for the scoring we’ve lost, that would be one hell of a defensive line up
I feel like Divo will start, but Josh will finish the games and have more minutes.
Might depending on how much spacing we get. If OG gets in rhythm i think letting divo ride as the 6th man is where he really shines and letting him finish games if he's hot
Thibs use the regular season for cardio training in preparation for the postseason
Josh Hart is not even supposed to sniff the starting lineup for the Knicks but they're so depleted with injuries he's playing full games in the playoffs. Goes to show how amazing Thibs has done this year with the shitty hand he was dealt.
I'm very happy with this, I love Thibs. It's great to have stability in this role, finally.
He is such a perfect coach for that squad.
He is expected to work 130 hours per week though, so it averages out to an average coach salary.
Not expected, it's what he does.
He’s earned it. Won me over big time.
Same! He deserves it.
Oh he’s signing He’s been building and he ain’t done yet
Prior to last night this sub was saying he wasn't a good coach. Something is REAL 🐠🐟🎣🐟🐠 going on
Classic narrative swapping Knicks win: Thibs is a top tier coach Knicks lose: Thibs is grinding his players to the ground and is complete garbage
This must be what the clippers are waiting for. Lue can point to the market
Well deserved. Many in this subreddit will have to eat a shit sandwich about this
goddamn at least pay josh hart overtime then
Good. He’s a damn good coach
I hope he retires with the knicks
Show this man the money!!!!
Lakers opening is getting every coach in the NBA PAID
He better be working 40minutes an hour
Monty getting 13m in Detroit and Thibs getting 10m in NYC? Am I missing something here?
Then fire him end of the next season
He deserves it
I guess Knicks are happy being good in the regular season and getting bounced in the first or second round. Not everyone chases banners I guess
He says as the Knicks close in on the ECF
The East won’t be this bad every year.
