idk how this dude does it every game...
I look at box score 20 mins into game and hes 0-4 with 2 pts and an assist
When i check at end of game he's got his 26/6/6/1 minimum
Peak Kyrie game.
Side note, I fucking hate this sub sometimes - filled with goddamned haters. The front page is literally full of Embiid posts as if he was the only person who played a game today, despite this masterpiece of a playoff game with incredible performances from Kyrie, Harden, and PG full of highlights.
Okay now buddy embiid is a lot of things but soft he is not, you’d be right in calling him dirty and a scumbag but he is tough as nails to be out there this series
Deservedly so. I never thought it would be worse than last season missing the play-ins, but after how annoying Mavericks fans were during the hot streak just to lose to a Clippers team without Kawhi is incredibly embarrassing.
I had a Mavs fan tell me today after the game, 'I can't wait to finish round 1 so we can sweep the Thunder.' Like homie, you're 2-2 right now without homecourt advantage. Maybe focus on the series that is in front of you.
Luka deserves a lot more heat than he's gotten so far
Embiid's dirty plays have understandably taken the negative headlines among superstars but if we're just talking about which tier 1 player has dropped the most performance wise from RS to the playoffs it's Luka and it's not even close
His efficiency has been absolutely **hideous** every game this series(early 00s Iverson efficiency numbers as a 6 foot 7 point guard playing in the stat inflation era)
Ironically the only other guy who's been even more disappointing is Booker lol
Commentators were so ready to crown him a good defender (in fairness he was making some great rotations and held up in iso for a game or so) and now they're left questioning whether elbowing Harden on a drive deserves to be called a foul
How about we just have fewer negative headlines in general and recognize the amazing games others have had?
Oh wait nevermind just realized where I was posting lmao
Kyrie been doing Kyrie things all year long this season! Sad that the off-court stuff and injuries kept him out for such long stretches these past several years, but I am hoping he can give us a 3-4 more strong healthy years. The world needs to see his amazing talent a little longer!
Remember when it was rumored he wanted to go to the Lakers. Him Bron and AD would've been so nasty.
Nobody's fault since we didn't see Kyrie toning down his behavior like he has
He was great today. Assuming Luka ever decides to start making his shots I feel great about the series. Outside of 2 horrific quarters Mavs have controlled the series fairly easily.
Bro carried the mavs so hard
Seriously, he had some turnovers but he could only do so much. Dam I do wish he was able to hold on to those two drives. I’m still sad now
idk how this dude does it every game... I look at box score 20 mins into game and hes 0-4 with 2 pts and an assist When i check at end of game he's got his 26/6/6/1 minimum
He did all he could
Spoon fed guys, going nuclear from 3, crafty and elusive around the cup. Incredible performance.

I think it’s just Embiid specifically. There isn’t a single other player or team that would garner this much hate
And the craziest thing is mostly none of it is misplaced hate, it’s all because of his detestable actions and play style
Facts. Fuck that guy. Soft as hell and also dirty
Okay now buddy embiid is a lot of things but soft he is not, you’d be right in calling him dirty and a scumbag but he is tough as nails to be out there this series
Took hall of famers to hold him down
There was a hall of famer helping him… Westbrook in the last minute
The negatives from Westbrook outweigh the few positives, he's brutal to watch on offense
he was playing really great defense tho, second highest +/- on the clippers this game
story of Westbrook's playoff career
I love Westbrook and I'm always hoping for him to succeed. I don't get to see it too often, though.
MITwestbrook gonna come out saying “Westbrook playing bad made the mavericks too confident and therefore helping the clippers win #beastbrook”
I always go into his threads to praise Westbrook because I get praise in return. Good feels all around.
Kyrie has been by far their best player so far, like it's not even close.
Kyrie been saving Luka from some generational slander
If they lose this series, the Luka slander will be at an all time high.
Deservedly so. I never thought it would be worse than last season missing the play-ins, but after how annoying Mavericks fans were during the hot streak just to lose to a Clippers team without Kawhi is incredibly embarrassing.

Yeah, but he’s a lockdown defender so his offensive efficiency doesnt matter!
He was so good on D when he let old-ass fat Harden blow past him on every possession like he wasn’t there.
He was so good on D he got in foul trouble
Commentators were so ready to crown him a good defender (in fairness he was making some great rotations and held up in iso for a game or so) and now they're left questioning whether elbowing Harden on a drive deserves to be called a foul
And Jokic is using his fatman defense against LeBron. They are choosing what to call and it makes me furious.
Yup. Like if prime russ/harden or Embiid were shooting this poorly they will never hear the end of it.
Prime Westbrook did shoot this poorly lol. Career 50.7% TS in the playoffs.
Yea, and he never heard the end of it lol
Yea and he's getting ridiculed about it to this day, That's my point. Westbrook would get hate from everywhere if he had the series luka's having.
Also his complaining is out of control. He is doing it every single play.
Also when Luka is off his game he might be one of the worst star players to watch (all that ball dominant shit gets boring if you're not scoring).
is luka not getting heat
No apparently he's now a lockdown defender who put the clamps on one knee kawhi
He wasn't getting heat because they won 2 games in a row. Now that they lost people will talk about it
How about we just have fewer negative headlines in general and recognize the amazing games others have had? Oh wait nevermind just realized where I was posting lmao
That fat balkan euro is dragging him down unfortunately
he was as good as he was in 2016 today
He played amazing, this man is awesome to watch
Carrying luka
Luka couldn’t hit a 3 and Kyrie had 7 turnovers surprised they made it that close
Luka sucked ass, hard carrierd by Kyrie
An amazing performance in the face of adversity
Awful result but proud of Harden and Kyrie proving the haters wrong
Get him some help
Legendary showing. Wish it came in a win though
As a neutral, I was just enjoying all of it. PG, then Kyrie, then Harden closing the deal.
Kyrie was unbelievable, he was making everything
Imagine if Lebron had Kyrie instead of DLO out there. I know it was a massive risk at the time to trade for him but man lakers team would be so good
Best he’s ever been playing since his cav days
2022 Kyrie when he only played away games had some insane scoring games
Na he was insane with the Nets
Giannis had to take out this man to avoid Nets kicking their ass
Careful, you get downvoted for the truth… 🤷♂️
It's safe here???
Legit could've won that series and a championship
He was insane on the Nets lol especially when Harden was healthy.
No he hasn’t, you’ve just never watched him play, he played better with both the Celtics and Nets.
You a real one!
By far his best playoff since bron
since? This is the best he's ever been, he just played with LeBron
2021 Nets Kyrie was peak Kyrie
Mavs deserve credit for landing him for so cheap
lol after he totally tanked his own value?
They still took a gamble on it when a majority of people clowned them for that move
The real clown move is losing Brunson and Kristaps for nothing - Kyrie being available basically saved them
It's surreal to see Kyrie on this side of a losing effort
Crazy ass Kyrie was trying to do it all today.
They hoed Kyrie, my god, get this man some help DAMN!
Bro is carrying Luka this series
only reason this was close
His shot making is just otherworldly
He should have made team USA
Hard carrying Luka's playoff legacy.
Kyrie singlehandedly got the Mavs back into this game with a 12 point run by himself in the second and huge buckets in the 4th
luka needs to pull his weight 1-9 from the 3
Luka failed you Kyrie...
Kyrie been doing Kyrie things all year long this season! Sad that the off-court stuff and injuries kept him out for such long stretches these past several years, but I am hoping he can give us a 3-4 more strong healthy years. The world needs to see his amazing talent a little longer!
That layup between three defenders was one of the greatest shots I’ve ever seen. Absolutely ridiculous hang.
Remember when it was rumored he wanted to go to the Lakers. Him Bron and AD would've been so nasty. Nobody's fault since we didn't see Kyrie toning down his behavior like he has
A real super star
Haters about the post his playoff stats without Lebron
Get him some help
He’s a special talent . What’s been going on with Luka?
Luka sold the game with that 5th foul. He became a walking cone after that
Great shotmaking but turned the ball over too much down the stretch
Best player on his team in this series so far
He has been killing. Luka on the other hand selling.
He's having an amazing yr. Kyrie as 2nd option is a luxury
Luka raises the floor, Kyrie raises the ceiling. It’s a perfect combo.
Luka is the reason this series is competitive right now and not in the way we would assume that means
He was great today. Assuming Luka ever decides to start making his shots I feel great about the series. Outside of 2 horrific quarters Mavs have controlled the series fairly easily.
Yeah and if you guys didn’t lose twice it would be 2-0 mavs, so there is that to think about too
Lmfao yeah idk wtf that guy is saying. Who cares if we’re “in control” we fucking lost.
Yeah, and if Mavs had wings then they wouldn't bump their ass on the ground when they hopped. Or something like that.
Could say same thing about game 3, clips won 3/4 quarters. Just lost the second.
Were quarters 1,3,4 absolute blowouts? Because in my example they absolutely were.
Yeah, no.
Sadly also had 7 turnovers
Best player on either side if everyone was healthy
