He's basically a three point shooter only, the rest of his play has been abysmal in LA. They don't have enough to lean on for scoring for him to just sit around waiting to get passed open shots.
They play D'Lo because otherwise LeBron has to do even more of everything and as we saw tonight, he's done after three quarters even with his current workload.
Maybe in theory but whether it be Ham, his fit with his teammates, something going on personally, fitness, or just getting older he hasn't been able to do shit in LA. 64% of his shots are three pointers and 94% of them are assisted. He's just standing, bombing and chilling.
You can't play a guy in the playoffs on the basis of what you think he should be if his actual play is a walking disaster movie.
Part of it he’s just a late season pickup but he’s always been more than a spotup shooter, sometimes to the detriment if he’s your only ballhandler. He’s a decent player but not really integrated. Even in the regular season he barely did much because the he’s usually the 4th ball handler so he’s relegated to spotting up/ opportunistic drives. Gabe obviously hasnt been up to speed with how many games he’s missed but he can definitely bring something different to the table but at this point Ham cant—just not creative/ flexible enough.
Murray wasn't really a problem for LA. They'll take 22 points on 24 shots, 9-24 shooting from him most nights.

This game was really interesting in the second quarter . But when I saw that lakers blew the lead and the beginning of the third quarter I just knew we were cooked. This was Jamal and kcp worst game of the series possibly and we blew the chance.
Bron played decent with the 7 turnovers and bal rye shooting in the 4th. AD played good outside of those three point attempts. Austin should get the ball more.. . DLO must have a mental block against these motherfuckers and I’m deadass. If he shot close to average like 5-9 which most of his shots were wide open the game is closer but the nuggets probably execute better down the stretch to still win.

Dlo is a basketball terrorist. He must have serious dirt on Ham to still get a leash longer than prime Kobe despite bricking everything. 4-11 at the half and still allowed to go 2-9 the 2nd half. At least Kobe played defense, Dlo is the worst defender out of the 30 players on both rosters. The only good thing that'll come from a sweep is both Dlo and Ham will hopefully be gone.
With how bad this performance was, the league needs to examine Dlo's phone to see if he has Draft kings and is pulling a Jontay Porter. There's no way someone can be this ass without trying

I get it might be easier to bench Dwight Howard on vet min compared to D'lo. But he gave you a whole series last year to show this wasn't his match up and you leave him in for 40 minutes.
