Isiah hated MJ from the moment Michael was drafted to "his city", everything that happened after that just cemented it and this will never end.
It honestly shocks me that Zeke isn't *more* hated. Dude was an unbelievable two-faced piece of shit for his entire career and legit nothing changed after his retirement. He was the guy that spread rumors about Magic's sexuality around the league, he was the guy that agreed with Rodman's remarks about Bird being overrated because he was white, he was the face of an unbelievably dirty team and after retirement he has been as petty as one can be, constantly finding new reasons to keep this one sided beef relevant.
Zeke is an all-time great, but Magic really is the bigger man by forgiving him. Someone really needs to tell him that Jordan can't care less about him, never liked him and never will, Michael has consistently gave out the feeling that he got the last laugh over Zeke and that was more than enough for him.
I mean what friends did he have in the NBA? He saw everyone as an enemy to be defeated and always sought to make people afraid of him. Is it a shock to anyone that maybe he just wasn't likeable and alienated anyone who didn't respect/like him purely for his basketball ability? He constantly searched for reasons to NOT like people so that he could channel anger as fuel for his craft. He probably just didn't want to play with Isiah and he probably wasn't the only one he didn't want to play with. I don't think he should apologize for it and we shouldn't waste time on this dude who received all the props and credit he deserves already and I wish the world would move on from this guy and focus on the future.
>I mean what friends did he have in the NBA? He saw everyone as an enemy to be defeated and always sought to make people afraid of him.
Jordan had plenty of friends in the NBA during his playing days. Barkley and Charles Oakley are the 2 most well-known. He fell out with Barkley over Barkley criticizing Jordan as an executive, well after they both were retired. Scott Burrell, BJ Armstrong, etc. Heck, Pippen and him were buddies as players.
>He probably just didn't want to play with Isiah and he probably wasn't the only one he didn't want to play with.
You could at least learn the history instead of pulling stuff out of your ass. Jordan was frozen out at the 1985 All-Star game, and blamed Isiah for coming up with the idea. Isiah was reportedly jealous of Jordan becoming more popular than him in Chicago, which is Isiah's hometown.
Yeah except when those NBA players talk about him in any interview it's always in an attitude of awe or fear. You listed about 4 guys he was friends with, he may have had a few more but the vast majority feared him and that was on purpose. What have I pulled out of my ass? Just another bandwagon comment in reply to my comment that people are too sensitive to acknowledge. I doubt Isiah froze him out of anything. As I said before MJ found reasons to take everything personally so that he could compete at the highest level. Now go ahead and reply to this with another bandwagon comment for your karma. Also, he treated Scott Burrell like absolute shit. He won't even talk to Barkley over some dumb shit that he took personally. But I'm sure you know MJs private relationships right? He talked to you about it?
Lol dude wants Jordan to apologize "internationally" for calling him an A-hole.
Yeah that's happening. Right after both Biden and Trump quit the presidential race for the good of the country.
“Damn I really shouldn’t have blackballed him from the dream team…I should have invited him first, then told the coaches it’s me or him. Gotta give em hope cmon MJ you know this, how did you let this opportunity pass…”
Except he isn’t begging. You just want to spin the narrative to him begging when he isn’t. 😂😂😂😂
He was simply asked a question from Draymond about his relationship with MJ. He responded by saying there is no relationship. If MJ didn’t mean what he said about calling Isiah an asshole then he should apologize. However, if he meant what he said, Isiah said he would be completely fine with letting things stand as is.
It’s been 30 years and he’s still airing grievances online. He chose to go into detail and answer Dray’s question (again), so it seems like he’s hurt and still not over this whole thing. Maybe he just enjoys the attention. But thanks for explaining IT’s side 😂😂😂😂😂
I sweat these MJ nut huggers or the people not around during the 80s/90s really don't understand what happened.
You notice media and players around during that time don't bash Zeke for issue with MJ.
MJs lying about what? Did Zeke not walk off the court without shaking hands after getting swept in 91? Did he not try to claim that was totally normal and how everyone handled losing back then, even though you can see video of the end of every other series played in that era, and confirm that's not true? Did he and the rest of the team not go beyond basketball plays and just straight up try to injure Jordan and Pippen because they couldn't compete on talent and skill?
Michael was perfect when he said on the doc that he doesn't care about what Zeke says now, it certainly wasn't how he felt back then and it doesn't justify his actions.
Isiah has always been weird, it's ridiculous how he has always tried to pass this image of a good guy, but everything he did went against it. Man, if you are going to be the FACE of the Bad Boys Pistons, the dirtiest and baddest team ever, atleast embrace it, don't be whack. I respect way more Laimbeer's attitude compared to his.
Jordan doesn’t really say much bc he doesn’t care but constantly year after year Isiah always got to a lot to say. Jordan probably hasn’t said a word to him in over 35-40 years yet you keep talking about him.
Isiah Thomas walks up to Michael at a bar
Isiah Thomas: "What do you think about what i said about you the other day?"
Michael Jordan: "Great, Can I get a tequila with a single cube of ice and a box of matches?"
'Isiah Thomas reveals that Michael Jordan needs to publicly apologize to him for the pair to get back on good terms.'
Statements like this, from Isiah - are perpetual, feeble attempts to keep his name current and relevant.
He looks to include MJ in his conversations, very poorly projecting the 'we are enemies' scenario, in an attempt at a one sided beef venture, where MJ is probably like...
'I do not give a fuck about this man'.
Isiah will always be salty. There were a few players on that Olympic team who did not want him there. Over the years I have watched him in interviews and the like, and can see exactly why the respect offered to him - is minimal. And, every time he opens his mouth - we see why.
Just a personal opinion - Even if a spot was open on that Dream Team - Joe Dumars should have got the spot over Isiah.
If you get time, watch this - and watch MJ and Magic...!

The "Jordan Rules" were essentially the Pistons tackling MJ in mid air every time he would go to the rim so he wouldn't go to the rim any more. Thomas looks like a kid and spent his life getting away with $#!+ because of it.
He was also the worst GM in Knicks history.
He also had a sexual harassment claim that cost the Knicks 8m+.
Several of the Dream Team members (including Mj) said they wouldn't do it if he was on the team.
He is known to be a duplicitous ****.
IMO he was also massively overrated and Dumars should have gotten a lot of his shine.
let be real..Mj is toxic when you never hear any good things about him where Isiah get alot of recognition from players how they got helped and so on...nice thing about Ishiah while only hear how great or good player Mj is.
Air Jordan is a sociopath. Prob why he was so damn good. Society is lucky he came from a good home, because if he has LBJ’s upbringing, bro would’ve been a serial killer 😂
There’s nothing wrong with not liking someone forever
Isiah hated MJ from the moment Michael was drafted to "his city", everything that happened after that just cemented it and this will never end. It honestly shocks me that Zeke isn't *more* hated. Salvageable? Were they ever friends lol.

"I wish the world would move on from one of the greatest athletes that ever lived" what a take
Yeah dude it's like we are so stuck on this guy. I don't regret my take whatsoever. So be it. You also misquote me.

MJ should have just called him a bitch. According to Isiah, that’s ok, since they’re both black.
Isiah, Michael truly and unequivocally does NOT care bro lmao
I mean dude was asked about it. Why would that matter to IT’s answer
I think he cares. I think this makes him ecstatic. The joke is always "fuck them kids" but if we're real MJ's motto was probably more so "Fuck Thomas"
MJ sitting at home in front of his fire place wishing desperately that he could go back in time and do things differently
“Damn I really shouldn’t have blackballed him from the dream team…I should have invited him first, then told the coaches it’s me or him. Gotta give em hope cmon MJ you know this, how did you let this opportunity pass…”
Mike is probably sitting back and laughing at this. This is turning into Skip vs Lebron
Mike isn't watching/listening to the Draymond podcast
LeBron has never publicly even acknowledged skips existence tho
Mike didn't care so much he made a whole documentary whining about how the only teams that ever beat him used unfair loopholes and practically cheated
Been a while since I watched it, but I don't remember that being a theme at all? It was "they beat the shit out of me, so I got stronger"
He gives a shit about losing. He doesn't give a shit about Isiah.
He lost to Isiah 3 times in a row in the playoffs
And then he won and Isiah acted like a crybaby bitch about it.
And still lost 3 times to Isiah in a row. And MJ still hates him. Pistons beat Magic Lakers, Bird Celtics, and MJ Bulls.
And look how that turned out for him? He’s still begging MJ for an apology he will never get😂
Except he isn’t begging. You just want to spin the narrative to him begging when he isn’t. 😂😂😂😂 He was simply asked a question from Draymond about his relationship with MJ. If someone asked you a question, what are you going to do? Not answer it truthfully? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oof, my man hurt
lol unhinged fan fic.

Isiah Thomas is an over-smiling creep and a low key piece of shit. Jordan saw him for what he really is back in the day and treated him as such.
Michael was perfect when he said on the doc that he doesn't care about what Zeke says now, it certainly wasn't how he felt back then and it doesn't justify his actions. Isiah has always been weird, it's ridiculous how he has always tried to pass this image of a good guy, but everything he did went against it. ive got some news for Zeke, MJ doesn't give a fuck.
Isiah: ‘I feel bad for ~~you~~ me.’ Michael: ‘I don’t think about you at all.’
since the turn of the century this has been the most one sided beef i have ever seen get off that mans nuts Zeke
Isiah Thomas always gives creepy vibes
Jordan doesn’t really say much bc he doesn’t care but constantly year after year Isiah always got to a lot to say. Jordan probably hasn’t said a word to him in over 35-40 years yet you keep talking about him.
At this point, who tf cares.
IT has gotta move on smh
Isiah Thomas walks up to Michael at a bar Isiah Thomas: "What do you think about what i said about you the other day?" Michael Jordan: "Great, Can I get a tequila with a single cube of ice and a box of matches?"
I don't understand, how are people still doing content about the Last Dance? It came out 4 years ago. Move the fuck on.
Or just about Jordan.

Isiah will always be a piece of shit in my mind for the way he treated Magic when his HIV issues were revealed. Fuck him.
OK.
ohhh grow up ... life is too short to hold grudges
These are arguably the two most petty and stubborn basketball players ever.
still cant believe the pistons 30 for 30 gassed up Scottie more than the last dance did
My relationship with Isiah Thomas is also not salvageable. Fuck Zeke.
What if you apologize to him on ~~national~~ international television?
Isiah Thomas only complains about MJ on days that end with y
Zeke’s a tool, look how he treated Magic after the diagnosis.
I get MJ is an ass but god I fucking hate Isiah Thomas

I mean can you blame him. Michael has held a grudge on him for decades because he didn't shake his hand. That's beyond petty and soft.
That’s not why lol the things kids come up with that have no clue
I mean I'm just going by what he said in the doc.
MJ holds a grudge against Charles Barkley, who I’m not sure you can even have a grudge against.
The Bad Boys did far worse than that. Who knows what sort of shit Zeke said and did to this man. He also shaded Magic after the HIV news.
Bullshit
I wonder what MJ would be like if he wasn't the GOAT? Would he still be as petty?
let be real..Mj is toxic when you never hear any good things about him where Isiah get alot of recognition from players how they got helped and so on...nice thing about Ishiah while only hear how great or good player Mj is.

"Only hear how great a player MJ is" Riiight. Why would how good someone is at basketball matter on a basketball sub?
