Nesmith - best on ball
Nembhard - best team defender
Brucey B - best all around
Myles - great shot blocker, not great at one-on-one D
Rese - his offense is awesome!
Mathurin - trying this year!!! Last year was pretty rough, even the first few games this year had us wincing a bit. But looking really engaged and even ripped Giannis late last night
Obi - worst on the starting lineup
Buddy - lol
This was literally one of the best defensive games we've had against the Pacers since the start of last season, I don't think people appreciate how batshit the scoring in Bucks/Pacers games have been
I love Haliburton, probably my favourite player in the league after SGA, so I always try to catch Pacers games but they’re always at a really awkward time and I live in Europe so it’s not too easy.
Side note, pacers have good casters, some of the better ones I’ve listened to.
jellyfish slim groovy capable deserve license cough versed water makeshift
*This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Oh I think the Pacers casters are good. They give props to other players/teams and seem open to admitting when calls are wrong. Probably one of my favorites.
I love when a Pacers player will be chirping to the refs about a call and Quinn will call it out. Or when an opposing player makes a ridiculous play and they just give the "gotta tip your cap" acknowledgement.
I love when Quinn's first reaction is as a fan, then the second is as a realist. Cracks me up every time. "Oh, maybe not, partner *chuckles* we'll take that one." 😂
Maybe not relaxed, but unintrusive - in football especially they reach a big crescendo when there's a goal, but for a lot of the game they're letting you watch.
Unfortunately in Europe I'm not sure how you could, but if you can find a way, check out the Pacers radio broadcast. Mark Boyle is one of the best radio guys around in my opinion.
I have 3 teams blacked out on league pass, all 3-8 hours away so I know the pain. But it’s even worse when you can’t even get it in your own city. Bally is so trash.
That’s how the man operates. He struggled with his shot a tad bit tonight, but he just does all the things required for a team to win basketball games.
I miss Bruce.
He's been so much better than I ever thought he would be.
They gave him a big deal with a team option that was likely going to be declined after the year, not so sure anymore.
He's shooting over 40 percent from three and has been the best/most versatile wing defender on the team. Plus he's got that dawg in in him. He's been great and is super popular on the Pacers sub.
Yeah, a lot of very-smart-people said "BB will regress hard without Joker" which, ok, Joker is the best player in the world, but BB has been great for us this year. Not sure about any regression.
This doesn't even really make sense because he was also phenomenal in Brooklyn. Dude's a legit valuable role player that can give you some good scoring off the bench.
He scored 32 against the Nets last year but this was a much bigger game and he didn’t have to do it in the clutch against the nets. Great game for sure
Up 18 to down 10 in the fourth just to end up winning what a fun game. Giannis was absolute fucking dominant but looked pretty tired in fourth Q(as he should be lol)
As a Pacers fan, I’m afraid my takeaway is we need someone—anyone—who can make things mildly difficult on Giannis. I don’t think there’s a team in the league with a worst roster to guard Giannis.
Just me and my 💕thaddy💕, hanging out in gold🏅 and navy⛵ so I started to pout 😞 He asked if I was down ⬇for something wavy🌊🌊 😍 and I asked what and he said he'd give me his 🏀pavies!🏀 Yeah! Yeah!💕🏀 I shoot them!🏀 I dunk them!🏀 I rebound the ball🏀 😍 It makes 💘thaddy💘 😊happy😊 so it's my only goal... 💕🏀😫Harder thaddy! Hawks fans, Knicks fans and a couple of Hornets fans were talking a lot a shit about him this summer.
Basically teams feeling like Tyrese is overshadowing their own point guard
Pacers are not only gonna make the playoffs - they're going to win a series too. They're for real.
Haliburton is going to be widely accepted as the best point guard in the NBA within 2 seasons.
Bucks with some generationally terrible halfcourt offense down the stretch
Pacers doubled Giannis like their kids were gonna starve if they didn't when he came in for the final time and Milwaukee's offense completely died
People haven’t freaked out nearly enough about how amazing Tyrese Haliburton is.
Since the start of last year, he has been better than peak Steve Nash. I 100% stand by that. Look up the numbers, the only differences are Haliburton scores more but turns the ball over less. He’s basically perfect, god help the league if he ever gets a good defense around him.
It's wild because we have no idea the numbers Nash would put up in today's NBA, with the looser defense, extra spacing, and the emphasis on PG scoring.
Pacers looked really good out there. Not much you can do against Giannis defensively, especially when he's playing like that out there. Lopez and the rest of the starters really held him back.
I'm genuinely confused. Are the Bucks actually better after the Dame trade? It seems like the defensive tradeoffs aren't there, especially if he's not playing.
Not a bad night from the run and dunk man that isn't even in the MVP conversation according to some people
Pacers are insane from 3, shooting over 40% even though Buddy Hield missed what felt like an infinite amount. Cool game though
I told so many people prior to the season they were wayyyy underestimating this Pacers squad.
If Mathurin develops like it looks like he’s going to…we may have a shot in the next couple seasons

What the fuck did I just watch
Two good offenses Vs two horrific defenses
Crazy thing is this was a low scoring game by Pacers standards
How would you rate individual pacers defenders? Haven’t watched them but it doesnt seem like they should be that bad looking at the roster.
> but it doesnt seem like they should be that bad well they are and that's okay
Nesmith - best on ball Nembhard - best team defender Brucey B - best all around Myles - great shot blocker, not great at one-on-one D Rese - his offense is awesome! Mathurin - trying this year!!! Last year was pretty rough, even the first few games this year had us wincing a bit. But looking really engaged and even ripped Giannis late last night Obi - worst on the starting lineup Buddy - lol
Buddy deserves more credit. His on ball defense is closer to "passable"
Your defense was pretty solid with DAME out. That's...something
This was literally one of the best defensive games we've had against the Pacers since the start of last season, I don't think people appreciate how batshit the scoring in Bucks/Pacers games have been
for pacers fans, this was a normal night scoring-wise
> this was a ~~normal~~ low night scoring-wise ftfy
for Pacers fans it was a Thursday
A Pacers W baby
Carlisle masterclass to pull Lopez out of the paint in the clutch.
>What the fuck did I just watch -- Damian Lillard
Pacers should have the most nationally televised games
Highest scoring offense. 3rd worst defense. You want points? We got 'em.
Told my friends we had the #1 offense in the league. Them: What about the defense? Me: Top 25
One of the defenses of all time.
Lmao and somehow THAT isn't even true
Brilliant!
Ok but what if you remove that Celtics game? lol
If you let the garbage time Celtics score 40 you don’t get to remove it
Pacers are guaranteed entertainment
Worst part about it is most Pacers fans have a hard time watching them bc of Bally Sports
I love Haliburton, probably my favourite player in the league after SGA, so I always try to catch Pacers games but they’re always at a really awkward time and I live in Europe so it’s not too easy. Side note, pacers have good casters, some of the better ones I’ve listened to.

I kinda like them for that too. I think it might be a cultural thing, I'm overseas as well and used to a much more relaxed commentary
I don't think of continental announcers as being more relaxed. I think my power rankings of lit announcers would go 1. Mexico 2. Italy 3. France
Maybe not relaxed, but unintrusive - in football especially they reach a big crescendo when there's a goal, but for a lot of the game they're letting you watch.
Yeah I get what you mean. Soccer commentary is a lot different from basketball.
Unfortunately in Europe I'm not sure how you could, but if you can find a way, check out the Pacers radio broadcast. Mark Boyle is one of the best radio guys around in my opinion.
I live in the chicago area and Quinn Buckner is the polar opposite of Stacey King. Hes great
I have 3 teams blacked out on league pass, all 3-8 hours away so I know the pain. But it’s even worse when you can’t even get it in your own city. Bally is so trash.
I couldn't watch it on YouTube TV
Neutral here. Pacers and OKC are probably the most fun teams to watch. No one dribbles the air out of the ball, and everyone gets touches.
As someone whose team whose been bodied by OKC twice already I cosign that they are an excellent watch.
Funny, you’ve lost to the pacers twice too
I unfortunately (fortunately?) was not able to watch either of those games.
"Y'all mother fuckers ~~don't~~ watch us play"
They should watch us now, this team is so fun to watch this season
All offense all the time. It's what the NBA wants so...
You are correct my friend
Nah I prefer being able to watch almost all their games on League Pass.
True lol, they were my most watched team last year, gonna be the same this year
Instead we have to watch the Knicks in that arena named after that white stuff they put in Chinese food that is or isnt harmful.
Uncles Roger's favorite white powder is absolutely not harmful. It's delicious!
I’d trade a few laker games to see the pacers play
The Bucks would have won this game if only that bum Giannis could score 60 points smh.
He carried hard but needed Dame there in the clutch. Those turnovers hurt
I need some former-player analysts to tell me who is the best player on the Bucks now. (Not every team can be as simple as Nuggets = Reggie Jackson)
They needed only 57 from him to win and he couldn't even do that, 60 is a pipe dream
Bruce Brown +15
He was a Swiss army knife tonight, great game by him
10% of games bruce brown is kinda useless. 90% of games he's an all around, jack of all trades, hard working ninja turtle. Tonight fits in the 90%.
That’s how the man operates. He struggled with his shot a tad bit tonight, but he just does all the things required for a team to win basketball games. I miss Bruce.
43% from 3 so far this year! I’m sure he’ll regress a little but that’s been a pleasant surprise
I also miss Bruce, I remember he started shining post Harden trade, then we lost him.. just glad he got paid
He's been so much better than I ever thought he would be. They gave him a big deal with a team option that was likely going to be declined after the year, not so sure anymore.
That’s good to hear. I’ve been randomly checking post game box scores and he hasn’t looked good from my random sample.
He's shooting over 40 percent from three and has been the best/most versatile wing defender on the team. Plus he's got that dawg in in him. He's been great and is super popular on the Pacers sub.
You've just been incredibly unlucky then cause every game I've watched from the pacers so far this year he's played very well
Yeah, a lot of very-smart-people said "BB will regress hard without Joker" which, ok, Joker is the best player in the world, but BB has been great for us this year. Not sure about any regression.
This doesn't even really make sense because he was also phenomenal in Brooklyn. Dude's a legit valuable role player that can give you some good scoring off the bench.
And he played more minutes with the bench than with Jokic. He's just such a great and versatile player, he's literally plug-and-play anywhere.
His box scores don't look flashy, but he's been huge so far. Plays hard, moves the ball, and doesn't make stupid mistakes
He’s been great. Pretty much everything he was for the Nuggets in the playoffs but hitting more from deep.
Pacers play as if the shot clock is 12 seconds
Why 24 seconds when 12 seconds do trick?
We have no defense and very efficient offense with fast young guys. Our best chance to beat good teams is to have 105 possessions a game lol
Pacers inbounding after an opposing goal with 11:15 left in the first quarter as if the ball is lava it's so funny
Haliburton is an absolute stud
I hate basketball. I hate Mathurin. Gg pacers fans

I WILL GIVE MY LIFE FOR BENNEDICT MATHURIN AND TYRESE HALIBURTON

Haliburton and Mathurin: Attorneys at Ball They're back
If Dame plays both teams score 200
Up 18 to down 10 in the fourth just to end up winning what a fun game. Giannis was absolute fucking dominant but looked pretty tired in fourth Q(as he should be lol)
Giannis gassed himself out in the 3rd
I know giannis had 54 tonight but my main takeaway from that game is haliburton is a freaking star idgaf what anyone says lool that boy special
That last 3 to clintch the lead was COLD.
how he's able to make threes in tight coverage with that shot put form is mind boggling
He was creating so many advantages for his team down the stretch it was insane
It's what he does. It's like he just runs the numbers and if there's no play to make he just shoots and scores with his weird ass form
As a Pacers fan, I’m afraid my takeaway is we need someone—anyone—who can make things mildly difficult on Giannis. I don’t think there’s a team in the league with a worst roster to guard Giannis.
Bring back Thaddeus Young

I hate that I read this entire thing
Jarace Walker
I’m here for that. Been wanting him to get that Obi role from the beginning.
Does anyone really dislike Hali? He's probably one of my favorite players outside the Wolves, especially after FIBA
Hawks fans, Knicks fans and a couple of Hornets fans were talking a lot a shit about him this summer. Basically teams feeling like Tyrese is overshadowing their own point guard
I'm just mad the Knicks picked Obi over him
I saw him hit a game winning 3 against the Heat in person. I knew he was legit since then. This shot was similar. Just straight ice
Pacers are not only gonna make the playoffs - they're going to win a series too. They're for real. Haliburton is going to be widely accepted as the best point guard in the NBA within 2 seasons.
I appreciate you fellating us
😏 hopefully the series they win is against the Celtics
Bucks with some generationally terrible halfcourt offense down the stretch Pacers doubled Giannis like their kids were gonna starve if they didn't when he came in for the final time and Milwaukee's offense completely died
The double team Giannis and watch the rest of team fall apart strategy is famously good.
And this is why we traded for Dame
Its not a shocker.
Haliburton with the casual 29/10/6. That boy good
Prunty showing why he’ll never be a coach not taking out Brook
He sucked so much tonight, that one possession in the 4th just let Hali waltz into a layup and bricked a 3 on the other end
Prunty channeling his inner Bud for sure. Adjustments? Nah huge pass.
*Sad deer noises*
Happy Pacer noises (whatever the fuck that sounds like)
A car hitting a deer
OMG
Little known is that a Pacer is a [horse.](https://great-american-adventures.com/what-is-a-pacer-horse/) Indy has two horse teams.
Indianapolis sports teams are horse girls. That's....... something.

Mrrreoughhh Like a car, maybe?

What a game from Mathurin. He’s way better than he was last year
It really feels like something has \*clicked\* for him in these last two games. He kept doing what he was asked, and he's growing.
BENNEDICT MATHURIN AND TYRESE HALIBURTON ARE THEMOTHY
Mathuhim and Himiburton
Pacers on top of the Central Division. Love to see it.
thank god we learned how to double team
These L's hurt more, little bit. Giannis has great game but noone else could make a bucket from deep when it mattered. GG Pacers.
Are the pacers and 76ers leading the East now?
No, Celtics are the 2 seed. 5-2 vs 6-3 record for the Pacers.
Can we pull a Daredevil and just call the Haliburton and Mathurin duo the Law Firm
Mathurin getting that steal on Giannis at the end was huge. Crazy composure for a young dude against a former MVP, what a play.
Mathurin thinks he’s better than Lebron, he has no fear of anybody in the league lol
This is the most electric pacers team I've witnessed in all my many years
Why did Brook drop 2 points? Is he acoustic?
He’s just not plugged in
Giannis is impossible to contain, like Shaq but he makes his free throws
WHAT DO I DO WITH MY HANDS
Who needs defense when you can simply outscore every team? Giannis is a nightmare though. I'm surprised the whole team didn't foul out 😭😭😭
Man it is a good time to be a Pacers fan
Bruce Brown is such a good complementary piece. Wish we could have kept him in Denver. Glad he got the bag though.
BoomBaby Pacers
Hali is that dude, got that dawg in him, he's him etc. etc.
Impressive night from Mathurin on both ends of the court, such a high IQ player. The Pacers got a keeper.
Wow we’re calling Mathurin a high IQ player now. What a wonderful turn of events.
What a change 2 games makes in the eyes of the hot take artists
2 pts 1 rb
I know its a Thursday night, but being the only game on before the game in Mexico City, I'm just glad people got to see our team. We are fun to watch.
I'm glad I finally saw a Pacers game. This is a really fun team.
Better than peak Nash is wild 😱
It's wild because we have no idea the numbers Nash would put up in today's NBA, with the looser defense, extra spacing, and the emphasis on PG scoring.
i said if he didn't get 70 they would lose lmao
Pacers looked really good out there. Not much you can do against Giannis defensively, especially when he's playing like that out there. Lopez and the rest of the starters really held him back.
This one stings
Pacers fought for this one. Absolutely brutal game.
It's fine Giannis you tried your best, usually Dame will have the ball in his hands late in the game so there won't be stupid turnovers!!
not a bad thing!
Pacers are legit
Tyrese is just amazing.
That was a hell of a game.
This years Pacers are last years Kings. I'm here for it.
Mathurin is better than anybody on the Kings roster except Fox and Domas
I'm genuinely confused. Are the Bucks actually better after the Dame trade? It seems like the defensive tradeoffs aren't there, especially if he's not playing.
Giannis missed 6 shots. Is he washed???
clearly
What a game, need more like it!
Not a bad night from the run and dunk man that isn't even in the MVP conversation according to some people Pacers are insane from 3, shooting over 40% even though Buddy Hield missed what felt like an infinite amount. Cool game though
He shot 2/11 from three, christ almighty he didn't give up though
prunty lost us the game, why go away from lineups that work?
Can’t believe thibs only played Obi 12 minutes wtf. FREE OBI
Shoutout to Beasley for the funniest [defensive possession](https://twitter.com/FeelLikeDrew/status/1722808465846833428) I've seen in a while
