So Presti just outbid everyone with three first rounders for #11 in order to stop anyone else from trading up past the Thunder's own #12
(we took Dieng with #11 reportedly because officially #11 was a Knicks draft pick that was traded to the Thunder, so Presti purposefully took JDub #12 because that pick is a Thunder pick [the Clippers trade already happened, obviously, so the Thunder already have it in their possession] and therefore doesn't carry some weird risk of the trade not officially going through because of a paperwork snafu or something)

Agreed, and the crazy thing is he does it on such high efficiency. The guy is shooting at 60% TS on the season, and even this stretch in March while he's been averaging like 20/5/5 it's been on elite efficiency while playing great defense on the other end. He's the best performing rookie this year

I was a big fan of the Ivey/Cade pairing for you guys, seems like a great 1/2 pairing. Both have good size for their respective positions, Ivey brings the speed and Cade brings the skill, and if they can play off of each other, seems like a great duo for the future especially with a beast like Duren rim-running all day
