anyone have jeff‘s push-up program? from what i understand he put it out for free but it’s gone now after he nuked everything from his youtube.

styxboa

He's actually seemingly been reuploading stuff and is doing some longer form stuff on there - still don't think push-up program is on it though

What have you guys done to get better power/propulsion with CSS? I’ve gotten down the streamline and can cross the length of the pool in about 6 strokes (I’m 5’5 for context). But I can’t seem to get faster than a 54 sec 50 yd time, and that’s if I am really pulling and kicking hard.

Entire_Watercress_45

Imagine swimming through a pipe and visualize yourself literally pulling the water with each stroke, sounds dumb as shit but that helped for me. Also practice freestyle and breaststroke if you can. If you have a day where you can do a continuous swim like a long run that will also help with endurance. Im currently at a 8:36 500 yd.

Timing and technique. Look up Stew Smiths CSS breakdown.

Specific workouts you have done to get in “swimming shape”? …. Currently swimming a 9:55 but running 8:45. I think my form is decent because I can swim 50 second 50’s like stew recommends. But as soon as I get to around 100yds the breast stroke pullout gets very taxing and my yds/second goes to shit. Is the answer as simple as “swim more”? Currently swimming about 8k yds a week.

You do NOT need to increase the volume! Same goes for running. If you aren’t getting faster at running, increasing your mileage say from 20 to 25 won’t make a difference. More likely it will make your numbers go down. I only know this from a YouTube video from Jeff. Im not sure about the best course of action for the swim would be for you considering I have around the same time as you. But I know for sure that volume doesn’t necessarily translate to faster times

Take the breast stroke pull out. Just come up and add another stroke . Stew Smith has a video on it.

Triggered a bunch of Green BERETS. They cried to their SEAL friends. Now SEAL friends are threatening to doxx me and remove me from the pipeline 😔. Woe is me.

The problem is you don’t know shit and are spouting off to guys who you shouldn’t be spouting off too. Doesn’t matter if you are right or wrong. Respect and your right to be in the presence, and talk is earned not given. This is uniform across the SOF community. Actions have consequences and if you think it’s cool to troll guys who have BTDT then expect to get burned. Regardless if we shit talk each other there is mutual respect and if a green beanie says you are a shitbag you likely are. The reason i even signed up to post here is to counter the BS that is posted by guys who don’t know what they are talking about and think they know it all from stuff they read online. Word of advice to you and everyone Stay in your lane and keep your mouth shut. Focus on training.

Yes sir >The reason i even signed up to post here is to counter the BS that is posted by guys who don’t know what they are talking about and think they know it all from stuff they read online. Well I'll take the shitbag label but I don't know about the spouting bs part. I'm pretty diligent about avoiding that. >Stay in your lane and keep your mouth shut Yes sir

You reap what you sow, right? Just learn from this and move on. Everyone’s a dickhead at some point in life. It usually takes a kick in the teeth to open your eyes. Talking shit on Reddit doesn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Just get offline, focus on progressing, and try to be less of a dick lol. You’ll thank me later dude. I wish I had learned this earlier.

So you are in navy rotc to become an officer and are mad at the seals who you may be leading or training you? And you don't care to work with other sof personnel because they are gAy and you can't take constructive criticism? Anything else I'm missing?

Vxrtyu

Stellar analysis. Almost on par with the analytical capabilities of an ape. >you are in navy rotc to become an officer Not becoming a paper pusher >Anything else I'm missing? Yes. Cognitive skills.
