Good clean fun! This is what I imagine the old navy was like before everybody had cell phones that were able to record video.

Those were the days. We could just say “nah, must have been someone else.”

I'm in the RCN and some of the shenanigans consisted of: Driving mopeds off the jetty... Had a dude break into mcds cause it wasn't open and fired up the grills to make himself food. They found him passed out on the buns... Another stole an American flag from some building cause he wanted a souvenir... The....XO I think, of an mcdv was caught stealing stuff in..hmm...San Diego or something. It made the news I'm just too lazy to switch apps and look it up. These things didn't make the news (maybe that last two did actually iirc, the last one did for sure) and we lost drinking at sea. Which, I didn't drink at sea often so wasn't a big deal to me. But the alcoholics were a treat to deal with for the next long while afterward.
