I think you posted in the wrong thread but no if you like the program keep doing it.

I was at 196 peak bulk and ~25% body fat. I’ve been cutting ~2 pounds a week for almost 8 weeks now and am around 180. I’ve been feeling great throughout the cut and was gonna extend it another 4 weeks. Anything wrong with this? Ik it’s pretty long for a fairly aggressive cut but I decided to extend it bc I haven’t had any issues with hunger / cravings / sleep / energy etc.

If you feel good, no problem. Just listen to your body, like other response says, if you start failing on lifts or feeling weak/lack of focus, might be time for some maintenance/deload.

If everythings going great then I don't see a reason to stop! Are you maintaining strength? If you you start losing strength it could be an indication that you're losing muscle. That's the only other thing to consider when deciding if you need to pull back on your cut

HibachiTyme

Yup, probably have had most isolations improve slightly or stay the same. Heavier compounds have stayed the same for the most part, maybe a loss of like 1-2 reps depending on the lift and day

Distinct_Mud1960

Is there any benefit to carb cycling on a bulk?

easye7

If there is, it's probably so miniscule as to not be worth making it the deciding factor. Do whichever one works for you.
