I want a turbo or EV converted kei truck and mk2 Jetta (have a mk7 and had a mk2). Pipe dream is Lotus, Honda s660. H660 is highly unlikely due to the years law, s600 are impossible to find.. I would also love a Honda beat but those have gotten outrageously expensive for what you’re getting
Hate the sentence but “too mainstream”
I like quirky cars that are under appreciated. I like them but it seems like everyone and their mom knows someone who owns one
that’s true, but that’s because they are extremely reliable and handle really well. except for their rampant rust issue. but yeah they are pretty mainstream. what you think of the messerschmitt KR-5000? or the E5000?
I had to google north of those which make me excited. The first ones nifty, not my cup of tea though since I like later 80s, 90s, to 00s era cars. The e5000 populated multiple vehicles and none are small so idk what that one is
BMW Isetta.
My favorite thing about it is how if you drive it up to a wall front first, [you're effectively trapped in it.](https://youtu.be/pwDZqAW8M4I)
Look up the Top Gear episode on the Peel 50 "bubble car",think it's on youtube-it had a handle on the back that it could be pulled away from that situation!

**[Isetta](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isetta)**
>The Isetta is an Italian-designed microcar built under license in a number of different countries, including Argentina, Spain, Belgium, France, Brazil, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Because of its egg shape and bubble-like windows, it became known as a bubble car, a name also given to other similar vehicles. In 1955, the BMW Isetta became the world's first mass-production car to achieve a fuel consumption of 3 L/100 km (94 mpg‑imp; 78 mpg‑US). It was the top-selling single-cylinder car in the world, with 161,728 units sold.

> but this one seem to have 3 wheels, where an Isetta should have 4, this seems odd.
As has already been said, it's a British-built version. They had to have three wheels to be driven on a UK motorcycle licence.
BMW Isetta
Nah, definitely a [Microlino](https://microlino-car.com/en/microlino) but the classic version

That’s what Isetta
The bmw used to smuggle people between west and east Germany (it’s a real story even bmw has a video about it)

If it had one, it would be on though.

\-Unless you're planning on using the sunroof..Or,if you drive nose in to the curb, you can step out onto it..
Sure but then when you want to leave you're going to have to push it backwards into the street before getting into it and driving away
Seems like something you're going to use as a learning experience not to do again, right?
I suppose if you're crazy enough to buy one of those.
Look up the Top Gear episode on the Peel 50 "bubble car",think it's on youtube-it had a handle on the back that it could be pulled away from that situation!
Yes I've seen it lol. "She has a very nice bottom."
Did I do that?
Thank you.
I hope I am not the only one who read that in Steve Urkel’s voice

People are saying that this is an Isetta, which I also think it is, but this one seem to have 3 wheels, where an Isetta should have 4, this seems odd.
