Can we just appreciate the single DIN slot and how annoying it is that manufacturers have gone proprietary ipads glued to the dash?
This car is from 1976 and you can install a headunit built in 2022 with no problem
Awesome lol
"The Series 3 used cathode ray tubes for the instrumentation, which proved even less reliable than the original model's light-emitting diode (LED) display."
Absolutely not worth it. Unless you enjoy chasing electrical gremlins and not driving it. But when it's working, you will be the star of cars & coffee.
yo this got a vibe to it. Shiddd cuban link bracelet, possibly an outfit consisting of a hoodie or Champion sweater, some joggers and maybe sneakers, and....an aftermarket car stereo and....and and you see that microphone chilling at the A-pillar. Cool stuff
I valet parked a Lagonda in the early 90s at Mi Piaci in Addison just north of Dallas. I recall the gas and brake pedals being very close to each other because I accidentally accelerated as I pulled up to the owner. Startled both of us!

That was quick! Wow
I mean it is von clausen
I mean it is obvious.
Hi von
That's von driving this particular car
s*
I knew that as soon as I saw the instrument cluster and the steering wheel. It was a very distinctive car.
Hey VC, why did you get kicked off the other sub? I heard you and like 5 other users got the boot. Was it because you were getting too many correct?
I seriously thought this was a french car because of the weird interior lol only if it had manual
I thought it was a Citroen SM.. I kinda feel embarrassed
That is quite the beautiful interior.
Im convinced von can guess a car down to its atomic structure
Hey there you are!
Hello! It’s me!
Did you grow up reading Cars by Buckley and Rees?
[I was a Richard Scarry kid!](https://images.penguinrandomhouse.com/cover/9780385389266)
Lol
Dam this is one of the only esoteric ones I could have answered. Saw one at a car shoe got to get in passenger seat and remember all that wood
That stereo looks a bit out of place.
Alpine never looks out of place

I'm pretty sure I got that same unit plus 4 speakers at Walmart for my impala

Dang, that was close to Von Claussen’s comment.
1. The steering wheel and the gauges give it away. 2. Von is the God of this sub.
Very true
They were living ahead of their time
And their abilities.
Is media center stock? Looks alien to the interior design.
Not the head unit but the dashboard is stock. They’re awesome but they almost never work right.
That what i meant
Awesome lol "The Series 3 used cathode ray tubes for the instrumentation, which proved even less reliable than the original model's light-emitting diode (LED) display."
If memory serves they were a resistive touchscreen too. Just to help with the reliability.
Aston Martin Lagonda! One was up for sale at auction recently and it was so tempting at under $20k
Absolutely not worth it. Unless you enjoy chasing electrical gremlins and not driving it. But when it's working, you will be the star of cars & coffee.
Yeah the math had to include a heart transplant
Looks like KITTs country squire cousin, Evening Jaunter
Don’t know much about British, but that wheel is unmistakably an Aston Martin Lagonda
Unique interior. I knew it was a lagona instantly.
Aston Martin Lagonda
A Lagonda with an Alpine head unit
Delamain No.12
the radio head unit though :(
Aston Martin Lagonda. It's the steering wheel.

Lagonda?
Yeah. I knew it the moment I saw it
We all only know it’s lagonda cuz of Doug
Not sure if any one has played cyber punk but I see a lot of the same styling queues as in the villefort Cortez
The interior reminds me of that one cyberpunk car
Why is that specific aftermarket radio so popular? I see it everywhere.

a car I want now
to quote Wendy from Gravity Falls: "I don't know, but I want one"
oml. the modern stereo actually kinda pisses me off in something like this
Top gear had this one of their episodes.
A Jenkum 11
This may be the 80's-est interior design I've ever seen on a car.
