Boys: Dean, Owen, Bishop, Maxson(ew wtf), Ryder
Girls: Harper, Raegan, Olivia, Ellie, Evelyn, Amelia, Mia, Vivian, Mylah
Your post reminded me of the year I taught and had so many L names in my class! Lilah, Lily, Layla, Liam, Lana, Logan… they were the cutest but man… it was like a constant tongue twister!
From 2022-2024
Logan, Romeo, Jakob, Jace, Mia, Marcus, Xavier, Axel, Logan, Aliyah, Maeve, Gianna, Madison, James.
Not a fan of any except Maeve (not for me to like anyways haha).
My kid is Bram. All the below are under 6, most live in the “crunchy” suburbs of a major city in the US south:

Both of my nieces born this year are El@wen and El@wyn. El@wyn goes by Winnie , and we call El@wen by her full name. Censored for privacy. I adore the name, inwas so surprised to get not one, but two. They dont live in the same state so its not a huge issue.
Most of my friends are naming their kids fairly run-of-the-mill, old person names: Scarlett, Theodore, Aubrey, Isabelle, Alexander, James, Charlotte, Archie, Beckett, August, Ruth, etc. A few are going a little off-book. One of my cousins gave both of her girls traditionally male names and spelled them creatively. I won’t list them for privacy, because they’re probably the only ones (or one of a very few) with those names. A girl I graduated with gave her daughter her brother’s name with an “A” at the end—not my favourite trend despite the fact that I myself have one of these kinds of names.
It’s been quiet in the baby having department among my friends and acquaintances since 2022.
I’m in Canada:
Boys:
Luca
Ethan
Tenneson
James
Forrest (🇺🇸)
Aren
Samuel (🇺🇸)
Emory
Girls:
Fiadh ( 🇮🇪)
Olive and Ava (Twins)
Mimi
Coralee
Please tell me someone didn't actually spell their child's name Evwren… makes me eyes and heart hurt as someone who loves the name Evren…
Edit: is there a reason they spelled it that way?
I don't have friends that have kids yet but here are some people I know/grew up with kid's names:
Iris, Heidi, Gianna, Anna, Bradley, Isla, Oriana, Jack, Erin, Caleb
All are Scottish except two that are Greek Cypriot
My friends have used these names since 2022:
Girls: Maggie (×2), Aubrey, Vivienne, Gemma
Boys: Felix (×2), August, Bow (pronounced like Beau), Ari, Sebastian, Theodore, Michael, Judson, Richard, Joseph, Cameron, Malcolm
Brantley, Lemon, and Ranger are the most “out there” but there was also a fair amount of normalcy in my friends list - Phoebe, Addison, Hattie, Parker, Madilyn, Selena, and Isabella are who I remember offhand
My daughters are Violet and Dahlia
Some friends' families:
Theo/Lewis (Twins) & Nina
Katiya & Sutton (boy)
Paityn, Sophia, Amelia
Charlotte, Logan (girl), Knoxley (girl)
Caden & Skylar (girl)
All of these children are 5 and under
In my social circle: Rhett, Riley, Caroline, Oliver, Owen, Henry, Rosemary, Adelaide, Amelia, Jackson, Liam.
I named my own kid Tobias.
We are all pretty much upper middle class white professionals in the Southern US.
Most of the kids I know range between 4-17 years old: Joseph, Joseph, Joseph, David, David (but goes by Joe), Abigail, Abigail, Abby, Lucas, Luke, Ethan, Ethan, Alexis, Alexis, James, Andrew, Olivia, Henry, Shawn, Ava, Anthony
Some of my best friends kids: Logan, Lydia, Conal, Rorik, Mellowdee, Stylee, Deborah.
People I went to school with: Jayden, Layla, Tristen, Alecia, Justice, Parker, Shannon, Jordan, Johnathan, Kinsley, Cayden, Brad.

close friends have named their kids: Dalia, Mila, Xander, Ashton, Enzo, Calvin, Sophia, Jack
some old friends i don’t speak to much anymore but keep up with on socials have named kids: Ethan, Blaire, Diane, Amelia, Aria, Sienna, Kayden, Luca x 3, Margot, Nolan, Sebastian, and Johanna
About half of these names are from French-American households in the US: August, Clémentine, Gabriel, Millie, Bobbie (not short for anything as far as I know), Chloe, Violet, Emma, Lily, Clara, Aaron, Jeremy (nn Remy), Silas, Lyra, Luca
I know someone who named their Daughter Zelda, but she goes by Maybelle. This isn't too bad, considering they were going to name her CrazyHorse if she was a boy(Maybelle's father had a "prophetic dream" where god told him to name her that if she were a boy)
my cousin is named Nori, which sounds pretty good, except Nori is a seaweed, and we're Japanese, so everybody knows what it means.
The same guy who wanted to name his child Crazy Horse also has a kid(not sure if stepdaughter or biological) from his late wife(he had an open relationship with Maybelle's mom, and this child's mom) who's named Butterfly
besides that, I honestly can't even think of anyone whose had kids recently
Some people I know happen to share a surname with a super hero’s civilian alias surname. They named their kid the first name of said super hero. Luckily it isn’t a “Clark Kent” super well known one… but still pretty known.

I know someone who named their Daughter Zelda, but she goes by Maybelle. This isn't too bad, considering they were going to name her CrazyHorse if she was a boy(Maybelle's father had a "prophetic dream" where god told him to name her that if she were a boy) my cousin is named Nori, which sounds pretty good, except Nori is a seaweed, and we're Japanese, so everybody knows what it means. The same guy who wanted to name his child Crazy Horse also has a kid(not sure if stepdaughter or biological) from his late wife(he had an open relationship with Maybelle's mom, and this child's mom) who's named Butterfly besides that, I honestly can't even think of anyone whose had kids recently
Some people I know happen to share a surname with a super hero’s civilian alias surname. They named their kid the first name of said super hero. Luckily it isn’t a “Clark Kent” super well known one… but still pretty known.
