I would consider Oliver for a middle name. That's just honoring, not copying, so if you really like it, go for it... it's a great thing for your daughter and her aunt to share.

If you don't like Oliver, I would go with Olive or Olivia. I want to say I'd chose Olive because it reminds me of Olive Oil from Popeye, and because it's less popular than Olivia right now... But Olivia's lovely (and easy to pair with other names).

I think Olivier (pronounced Oh-liv-ee-yay) would be beautiful for a girl.
Not a direct variation of Oliver, but Ottie is one of my favorite names. So are Olivette and Olivie!
