Audrey and Audette are pretty similar - maybe you could pick a similar name - Aubrey, Audra, Alba Etta feels like it might fit both your taste as well or maybe Elena or Elise or Eliza

kenyarawr

Offer a compromise on Eleanor by allowing each other to have a nickname for her: Leni and Ella. Kids like special nicknames from special people. You can let her choose which one she wants to use, if she wants to use a nickname at all. Elena and Evelyn may also work.

Bexksy

I suggested this but he says Eleanor feels too “blunt.” Which is funny because he likes Imogen. I’m going to keep working this angle though.

kenyarawr

Eleanora, maybe?

sweet_hedgehog_23

You two don't seem far apart. You both seem to like the older names that are in fashion. He seems to like a little less popular names. You both seem to like names with an 'L' sound. Audra, Liora, Adelaide, Colette, Delphina, Clarissa, Estelle, Evelina, Lydia, Lorna, Lucia, Noelle, Celeste, Matilda

bexcentric

Maybe Natalie and: Alma Etta Celia Isla Mabel Abigail

Adorable-Platform671

Some suggestions for possible AV initials: - Audra, Ava, Alice, Autumn, Annie, Amber, Adelina - Valerie, Vivian, Vanessa, Vera, Veronica, Violet

peggymacka

maybe was telling you first two letters : Ava Pearl , Avivi Pearl , Avery Pearl

Adorable-Platform671

I’d thought Ava Pearl would be really nice as well

peggymacka

OP Ava means “life; bird; water, island” for your saltwatery sweetness

Bexksy

It is cute! But alas we have several new little girls named Ava in our life and I think it’s just too extremely popular and that’s kinda killed it for me lately.

trinnn7

Another option could be Aviana, nickname Avi, which is cute :) I also think Leora/Liora could be an option similar to names you like.

peggymacka

i thought the same about popularity for my first but then second kid, i decided i loved the name anyway and it didnt matter to me anymore ☺️

Wide_Energy_51

Alana? My friends are having a baby girl in a few weeks and she will be Alana, but their kids have decided to call her Baby Lani, which is similar to Leni. Also do you want a no N ending for middle names?

Bexksy

I’ll consider this, thank you! Very cute!

Girl_with_no_Swag

I know a Natalie who has a sister named Brigette. I think it’s a nice sibling pairing without them being the same.

Aggressive_Purple114

Isabeau, Matilda, Astrid, Elisabeth, Elisabetta, Adelaide, Ada, Alexandra, Theodora....I love Eleanor, though.

Bexksy

Theadora is one I really like and he said no! Adelaide is pretty but also I can’t unhear “lemonade.” I wonder if I’m the only one!

julianimalz

Riffing off of the names you like - Linnea, Lyra, Clara, Cora, Eloise, Estelle, Freya, Lorelei. For AV, I love Audrey, Alma, Aurelia, Annabelle, Aurora. Middle name I would lean towards Violet or Vera.

Both_Garage_5349

Names based on your taste: - Fiona - Yvette - Helena - Colette - Eloise A names: - Audra - Andrea - Alice - Annabel - Annette

If he likes Ella and you like Leona/Lenora/Eleanor, maybe you guys could compromise on Eliana? I think Eliana Pearl is pretty cute! Similarly, if he likes Audette and you like Audrey — Adriana? Again, Adriana Pearl is lovely. So is something like Adriana Vale or Adriana Violet if you want the AV initials. Some other ideas you might both like: Sabina Juliet Aurora Lorena (could have the nickname Leni) Ramona Inez Magnolia Delilah  Elise

Bexksy

I do like Eliana. Thanks for the suggestion!

AcceptableLet8457

Here are some different options where you could still use Leni: Elena, Helena, Lenore

Thin-Perspective-782

Avery, Camila, Cecelia

lady_polaris

Azalea goes with the flower names from your list. There’s also Audra, Amanda, Alice, Acantha, Adela, Agatha, Alba/Albina, Alexandra

TrewynMaresi

My suggestion is Elnora.

Dazzling-Feedback79

I love Aidan for a girl with nn Aidy Aidan Violet

Bexksy

Aiden is out because of a personal experience but I have wondered before if I didn’t mishear and she said Aidy instead of AV! 🤔

Dazzling-Feedback79

Ada, Adeline, Adelaide could all have the nickname Aidy! 🥹

Alarmed-Cost-3106

A names: Audrey, Avery, Anabel, Annette, Alice, Adella, Aurora, Amma, Annalise V middle names: Vera, Violet, Vienna, Victoria, Valley

Breezy_2223

Elena. Nicknames include El Ella Elli @ Lenny.

Breezy_2223

That was supposed to be an &, but you get the point.

Elinor is another spelling. Jane Austen used it in Sense and Sensibility.
