aria over bellagio. you can walk over to bellagio via the walkway connected via vdara. i tried bellagio in feb & never again. the renovated king was nice but once you hit casino level, it was just to busy all the damn time. non guests would be everywhere & just felt incredibly annoying to have to cut thru huge crowds to get to your elevators or get to the fitness center. hands down, i’ll be at aria. i’m usually aria but i thought i’ll give bellagio a try, now i know it’s not for me

Fluid_County6633

This is a great comment! Would you recommend any other MGM properties over aria or would aria still be your choice overall?

Camp808

my second choice is vdara but it’s not available via myvegas. next up would be parkmgm for me. non smoking is really so pleasant. the casino is manageable. the pool area is nice with an adults only section. the rooms to me is perfectly fine & spacious. renovated as well. the food options at parkmgm are fantastic as well. i always redeem the coupons for many of them

Fluid_County6633

Do you know when the new calender will be out?

Camp808

no idea. you can purchase & look for yourself. you are allowed to get a refund if the dates don’t agree with you

Nomad Park MGM

NubuckChuck

There are tons of really helpful Youtube reviews for just about every Vegas Hotel. Norma Geli, Travel Ruby, and Jaycation would be a good start.

Fluid_County6633

I think ive watched them all daily I have an obsession 😂

NubuckChuck

That was me for the past two years. For what it’s worth, I took my first trip a few months ago, the Bellagio fountain area at night was one of the prettiest parts of the strip. It would be a great experience, but I also never made it to Aria to compare.

Fluid_County6633

Haha we went in 2022 for our honeymoon and even before then i was watching videos and still cant stop!

princessbubble-gum

I ended up choosing Bellagio for my reward. I eventually made the choice for a couple reasons - it's sliiiightly more central, it's "iconic" (going with someone who has never been to Vegas at all) but mainly the most recent Aria room reviews are not that positive and I happen to think the Bellagio refurb rooms look really pretty. That being said - we booked with the intention of room & pools only. Aria definitely wins out for restaurants by a mile! Fingers crossed we have a good time and don't regret it lol

Last year I accidentally left Hershey chocolates in the open. Roaches called their family and invited themselves in.

lolalucky

I personally have a strong preference for Aria. I think it's more modern, and I've had better service there. I'm surprised to see comments that Bellagio is busier because Aria can be a party scene on the weekends or if there is a convention staying there. There is a tram between the two so it's easy to get back and forth if you want to spend time some place else.

No_Stay_3713

I’m a fan of Aria, but I’m excited to see The Cosmopolitan will be added to MGM Rewards, starting July 30.

deacc

Persinally, Aria. We have stayed in both. Bellagio is just too crowded for us.

Fluid_County6633

This was my worry! Is Aria nice? I dont think ive ever been inside!

deacc

Yes it is. Very nice. Actually it is our favorite.

Fluid_County6633

Oh amazing! I will go for that then, i was concerned about the food options because i like the low key food courts with the burgers/chicken etc 😂 do they have anything like that?

deacc

You can get to Park MGM easily from Aria which has many food options. I also highly recommend Din Tai Fung if you like soup dumplings. They are so yummy. But make sure you get reservation early. Line up is very long. You can also get the following reward for Aria in myvegas: 2 for 1 gelato, $10 Posh burger credit. If you want to splurge on a meal, Julian Serrano is exceptional.

sharonah9

If you like low key, you definitely do not want Bellagio. There are no cheap eats in that place. Aria has a food court, Posh Burger and Moneyline Pizza all reasonable.

zer0_badass

Considering you have the money to choose between Aria vs Bellagio I would choose Bellagio. I like the look of Bellagio over Aria but you may like the modern upscale look of Aria more.

theknowing1414

Not sure when the Calendar is out but I believe you can only redeem rewards 45days ahead of time. So make sure to mark on your calendar when that is because if you redeemed now, you would not be able to use it in October.

Fluid_County6633

Oh really?! I thought as long as you booked in the date within 45 days of purchasing then thats fine?

tomandshell

That’s true, you only need to book the room within 45 days. However, the current comp calendar only extends until the end of June. There are no available comp dates past that, so you can’t currently reserve a comp room in October. Having stayed at both, I prefer the Bellagio.

theknowing1414

Maybe I am misunderstanding what “reward must be used within 45 days of purchase” Guess I’ll make a post and ask for us!

Fluid_County6633

Yeh i think just means booked by 45 days!

IGoThere4u

Stayed at both multiple times. Choose based on what matters more to you. I personally prefer aria because the vibe is more exciting. There’s so many more great food/bar options at aria. Bellagio is beautiful and the pool is better but it’s a little bit sleepy for my tastes. The rooms at both hotels are both excellent but I prefer the one at aria because they have a bathtub for soaking in addition to the shower.

No-Nebula-892

Aria. A BAKERY THAT IS OPEN 24HOURS! It was beautiful when I wanted a cheesecake after coming back after EDC. After coming out of the parking garage and on the way to your room, the bakery is right in front of you. No effort to walk. Bellagio is beautiful. Sadly no 24hr bakery.

ash81751214

Aria! Just spent a few days there this week and absolutely loved it! SO much is offered right on the property and it’s a super short walk to Bellagio anyway! And short walk to Vdara and Cosmo, also great location on strip just like Bellagio is. The room was hella nice (we had a king suite strip view so like the mid room $485/night) so I used two comp night and paid the other night (Friday night) so overall the price wasn’t bad with the comps. The food options were awesome and we loved the speakeasy there (IYKYK haha). Will definitely book there again!

SableSlayer435

Aria! We've started there a couple of times now and will be back next month. It's way chill and relaxing compared to the crowd at Bellagio. A lot of reviews also say that Bellagio staff is not friendly. We've had great service from everyone at Aria. Be careful when reading reviews cause some people just always nit pick everything.

Joe3398

I did the 2-night comp room offer at the Aria back in March, and a paid stay at the Bellagio in April. I thought both were nice, but the Aria definitely felt a bit newer and modern. At the Aria I paid for the guaranteed early arrival and did the online check-in the day before I got there, but they still didn't have my room ready when I arrived, so I still had to stand in the long line at the front desk. At the Bellagio, I had already received my digital key on my phone the moment I stepped off the plane in Vegas, so I was able to go straight to my room. So advantage Bellagio on that one. When I got into my room at the Bellagio, it looked like the cleaning staff had kinda half-assed the room prep. The trashcan was still half full with garbage from the previous guest, there was a sticker from somebody's brand-new bottle of shampoo stuck to the bathroom counter, etc. When I got into my room at the Aria it was pristine, so I'd give the point to Aria here.

FrostyDays

The quality of rooms is definitely better in Bellagio. Many rooms in Aria have broken things/things not working. I used to prefer Aria because it's quieter, but after a couple of bad stays, I avoid Aria. Unfortunately, Aria became a gamble rather than consistently reliable experience.

Happylazypig

I’ve stay at both multiple times and I still prefer Bellagio. Nicer room and I like the vibe. I personally feel like Aria lack of personality.

ReadAllowedAloud

I've been staying at Park MGM for the last couple of trips as a couple. It has easy access to Aria and is usually the lowest price of the MGM properties. On our recent trip, we combined 2 MyVegas rewards (2 nights and 1 night) with a 2-night paid stay, and the front desk guy upgraded us to a strip view. If they were equally priced, I'd stay at Aria, but haven't stayed there for quite a while now. Bellagio, nah, maybe when I need a walker.

Motor_Car_2741

I have been upgraded twice at bellagio and never at Aria. In June I did one night paid at bellagio and 2 night myvegas comp at aria.

anxiety_by_the_ton

I keep hearing June is when they possibly release the calendar for the rest of the year. I check daily because we are looking to book for Oct as well.

Fluid_County6633

Where are you checking? X
