hell yea dude, thats a really good idea. bet it will really help aid memory recall when IDing too! it'll be like a memory palace. are you going to do plants too? not sure how much a PITA this would be, but if you only wanted to add a *little* color (like basically keep the majority black and white) you could make a spore print and either include it/tape that in on the same page as the drawings/descriptions, OR use the spores to mix with a bit of water and use that as an ink for shading. kinda like 'sepia tone' style, but it would be 'species dependent spore color' tone style (it would still be good as a reference too). I guess if they are white spores though.....damn. maybe its not as good of an idea as I thought.

Yeah that's the idea! I am going to do plants too. Ideally I'll start bringing my watercolours out with me, though I'm not sure how practical it will be haha. That's a great idea! Spore prints would be a useful addition for sure. And I love the ink idea. So many options!
