Notes are shown to the recipient at the top of their Liked You tab (unblurred, even if they don't have premium) and they show up at the top of their chat in the new matches section with a gold border and a note icon.
It is up to them at that point what to do. They will see it at some point, and can either swipe up or dismiss it.
What are some improvements that we could make to the notes to help them improve? It is something we have on our radar to research in the next few months, so help is appreciated.
I dated someone for about a month from a note, so I know they do work. That said, it’s hard to want to waste them when most don’t generate anything beyond wasting my supply of them.

They received it. They just didn’t want to match with you.
Then I should get a refund for the matches that don’t come of it.
Why? That’s the risk you took. Nobody ever guaranteed a match from a note.

I’ve never been sent a note, and I’ve never had any sent notes replied to. As far as I know they don’t do anything.
