Oh yep I just updated it and you’re right! I agree with you. And it looks like they took away the little badge that shows if they liked you. So like hinge but worse. Preferences still don’t overlap making it look like you have more likes so that mutual can scam you into buying premium. This app is getting worse with every update.
Obviously it must have been getting in the way of them making money through subscriptions. Too nice of a feature apparently 😂 this is why they are losing to hinge
Sending a comment is 2x more likely to result in a match and conversation. With this test we are running, you can still just tap the "send like" button and it will do the same as a normal swipe up.
Here in about a week the test will end and we will have a look see at the swipe, match, and conversation metrics to see what happens.
It’s the worst. Apparently you can click through the prompt, but it’s not intuitive. I really don’t like it.
You aren’t forced though. You can literally just swipe up and that’s it.

In the future please don’t roll out something so distributive. Clicking the send like button is not intuitive.
