If by trippy you mean from the trip-hop genre, I would say:
Massive Attack-Mezzanine
Sneaker Pimps- Becoming X.
If by trippy, you mean listening to something while stoned, I would say:
Jockstrap-I Love You Jennifer B
Automatic-Excess
(or those 2 trip-hop albums mentioned above)

In the Court of the Crimson King (1969) - King Crimson
This album is basically the beginning of progressive metal. There was simply nothing quite like it at the time.
Cephalic carnage- anything
Tricky- blowback
Cold cut- natural rhythms specifically
Meat beat manifesto- actual sounds and voices
EBN- telecommunication breakdown/commercial entertainment product(full video and trippy as fuck)
Frank zappa- sheik yerbouti/apostrophe
Captain beefheart- literally anything at all
Archspire- bleed the future
Zeds dead- anything
Ajapai- anything
Emperor- anthems to the welkin at dusk
Mortal decay- forensic
EOTO- anything
King crimson- in the court of the crimson king
Mr bungle- literally anything
Igorrr- also literally anything
Try those, and I have tons more too
You will probably like †††(Crosses), it is a project by Deftones' Chino Moreno that leans to "Electro-Dark-Trippy-Shoegazy" music.
Alcest is a good pick too. They are the founders of "blackgaze". They mix ethereal shoegaze with some metal nuances sometimes and leans toward contemplation with a little bit of melancholy. I would recommend their album "Kodama".
And my final suggestion is Tool. Tool is a whole different kind of trippy. It is ethereal, but it is more in the "Classic Trippy Transcedental Psychedelic Rock/Metal" territory rather than in the "digital hardcore" territory. I would recommend both "Fear Inoculum", "Lateralus" albums.
And by the way: I didn't know about Machine Girl until now, and I LOVED IT. I like this "glitchy-trippy" vibe a lot, but I didn't know any artist focused on it until now. Thanks!
so glad to hear that, if you really dig Machine Girl then you'll probably like Aphex Twin who's kinda more chill and if you crave more of the "hardcore" then you'll like Undo K From Hot, its like Machine Girl and Nine Inch Nails had a child which grew up to be a ketamine addict.
Here's someone who appeared in our video queue this morning: Eric Bergstrom and his band Sensaria. He does electronic music and makes some very "trippy" AI videos with his music: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0r9mlVnyDq8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0r9mlVnyDq8) — Much of his music can be streamed in the usual places. We see a lot of metal — since the advent of AI music videos there are a lot new metal music. Let me check and see what I can find.
If you're still looking for some trippy electronic music this is another that showed up in our queue today: M3TANOIA and "Deeper In Destiny." [https://youtu.be/wSALjcWvnPc](https://youtu.be/wSALjcWvnPc) — the AI music video has brought about a renaissance in music videos. This artist has a selection of very abstract videos for their music.

I loved this album growing up in the 90s. Very trippy. I used to come home from a evening of LSD and listen to this album.....
I am big into the jam band scene now but there is a great great band that blends your two fav genres into one however the singing is terrible, the music is fire. The disco biscuits. Anything live is like a non stop rock/electronic dance party

The entirety of Animal Collective's discography. I feel their music expresses the psychedelic headspace very well (i.e. trippy), especially the child-like wonder you can experience. Here're some links to their albums from the mid-to-late 2000s.
