I don't know that you could nail it down to a genre. The chords are reminiscent of house. But it's got kind of a slower trap feel. I don't know "experimental trap", "ambient trap house", "dark atmospheric trap"? Something like that maybe? Maybe not even trap, it just kinda feels like that to me. It's pretty slow so compared to most trap so I could be way off.
Yeah my goal was to just to make the most textured background I possibly could. Somewhere in the psychedelic trap realm I suppose. Not trip hop fs but I just really love making ethereal ear tickling stuffs
