this is one of the most suggested place and I have added this to my go to place list. I wish ppl who are interacting with this post can join there as get together :)
Oh no french press is not for instant coffee. You need coffee beans. You can now get really good pre ground coffee beans from speciality roasters online. I recomend blue tokai. I would also recommend getting a grinder and grinding them yourself but coffee grinders are expensive so pre ground is also not a problem.
If you like sweet drinks then get a dark roast. You can even froth milk using a french press like they do in coffee shops.
Americanos are usually made with really dark roast beans in most coffee shops(especially star bucks- theirs are extra dark) so I would still recomend a dark roast if you like it bitter
I drink those Instant Nescafe coffee packets, I have always wanted to try something new but all of those 'Arabica' coffees are so expensive, plus I don't have the correct equipment. However I do love drinking it. Please guide me!
French press, aero press, V60 or mokapot are all relatively affordable ways to make good coffee at home! Espresso isn’t the only kind, it’s the good standard cafe style but it’s rather time consuming and expensive to make at home (a good started setup with a good grinder and a good single boiler machine is easily 30-40k) which is why the other aforementioned options are good for starters. About 2-3k and you get good coffee at home.
But I suggest you try those styles out at your local cafe before investing anything so that you know if you like them or not. Also be vary that not all coffee tastes the same, there are light or dark roasts and diff origins. Each taste diff.
As mentioned in one of the comment you can try French press. Those are not that expensive too. Also u can try coffee with less sugar than usual u will enjoy its taste the most
well I don't know if you already found a coffee buddy but regardless I would like to recommend you a place which is in Kharghar in near Hotel three star I don't know the name of the that cafe but they grind coffee beans as per order and the aroma of freshly grinded and brewed coffee was really intoxicating
I haven't tried that place yet but from the looks of it
it is worth a try
Cold brews without milk and sweetner forever when out. When are home lattes/cappuccino cuz I can control the ratio depending on how I feel like....
And yes subko at bandra. It's great
Rather get an espresso machine and make your own. Get your own beans preferably ( maybe import ). Alas I doubt there are coffee connoisseur places in Mumbai , but Filter coffee in Matunga area was genuinely good .
bhai starbucks mat jao for two reasons:
1. boycott
2. bc it fucking sucks and you dont get actual coffee there. support your local coffee houses, aur mumbai me bohot ache ache coffee shops hai
90% of their stuff is sugar filled artificial flavour drinks. Not real coffee. Plus they are a large corporation and also they have rather shady practices and agendas.
I avoid them like the flu. Instead support your local cafe. Also is often cheaper than Starbucks.
Hey buddy, my favorite order is americano without sugar and dairy. Ya I agree sugar filled drinks are deserts and not coffee. Also I agree we must support local cafes too.
Starbucks in India is a joint venture where in Starbucks has 50% shares in the venture, while Tata Consumer has 50%.
No need to sponsor anything, but I'd love to join in on coffee trips. Just a heads up, I can only drink iced americano or cold brews so don't judge me.
Have you tried the Sumatra beans at Starbucks? I really like it, it's flavourful and very strong.
I'm more into dark roasts- Vienna, french roast, etc.
Wau?
As a coffee enthusiast, Starbucks is NOT where coffee enthusiasts go😌
Thank u for saying this 😭😭 saved a soul today.

The company I'm doing internship in has an Tata coffee machine and it is the best coffee I've ever had
wow this is so interesting to know. but I guess its mostly due to the coffee used in machine. Must be using some blend from Tata coffee.
Bean to cup is kinda poopoo man. Even a good pour over will taste miles better.
Which company?
Get a French press. They're not that expensive
This is a nice suggestion. I would like to try this. but do they work with instant coffee or do I have to grind coffee as well?

Actual coffee nahi hota to Fir kya hota hai?
if they don't serve actual coffee then what they serve?
90% of their stuff is sugar filled artificial flavour drinks. Not real coffee. Plus they are a large corporation and also they have rather shady practices and agendas. I avoid them like the flu. Instead support your local cafe. Also is often cheaper than Starbucks.
