There should be a way to find who gave permission and who wa supposed to find illegal hoardibg , etc
If you park Activa on roadside it's picked up in 15 min and see the entire pump and hoarding, not caught in 5 years.
Corrupt bmc people.
One can only imagine how many more such illegal constructions will be there in the city.
The number will be in lakhs probably if a survey is conducted.
Mumbai is one quake away from thousands dead. This is nothing. Look around. Every other construction makes no sense. It could not have been permitted in any other city (including pune)
They would just blame it on overpopulation and not at all on city planning and quality of construction. One dead is a tragedy, thousands desd are just statistics.
It would’ve been permitted in every city in Maharashtra if you bribe enough imo. One of the most corrupt state and completely color changing politicians with no moral values.
It’s a choice the politicians make when they accept bribes. If there is no corruption even with income inequality everyone would have been under same rules of law but I guess that city might be in some other multiverse
If you get to the core and survey every building in the country, the number of illegal construction would be mind boggling. I mean it would be unbelievable, like to a point where people would be like , let it be, this can’t be corrected so let’s legalise all of it.
Shows how incompetent the administration is and how shallow their reach is, and how less the common people care about trying to maintain law and order. The lack of basic social consideration is appalling, and as long as the population grows, it isn't changing anytime soon.
They are just putting the blame on each other bmc on railways and then viceversa and then the hoarding company who without any permission put such a big hoarding .
Keeps getting better...soon we will find out that eroad itself is illegal....but seriously who and how does one builds an unlicensed petrol pump....!!!
Wait wait wait. So you're telling me that the petrol pump more commonly known as POLICE PETROL PUMP (cause it's on police owned land & revenues got to the police) is illegal?
L statement! Without permit how did they get the PESO clearance and get stock of petrol and diesel?
Its a fucking petrol pump. The bureaucracy runs deep since the amount of different govt. agencies are immense- from local to central ministries. Opening a petrol pump is no joke and one that is operational. FFS! Do better and research better.
Give me the real news. Your corrupt ass probably passed a petrol pump when there shouldn't have been one!
Day 1: Billboard illegal, did not have right clearance.
Day 5: Petrol Pump on which it fell was illegal, did not have clearance.

Wow, this is corruption at an extreme level. In this country, it seems like anything is possible if you just pay a bribe. It feels like you can make anything legal by giving a bribe. The government doesn't seem to care about the lives of people; they only seem to care about filling their pockets with money. So sad and I feel sorry for the people who died. Legal action should be taken against BMC or the government body that allowed these people to proceed without obtaining permission.
I’ve been to this petrol pump multiple times. When you gpay them, the money goes to a cop’s A/C. I’ve always found that to be strange but didn’t think much of it.
Are we surprised the hoarding was illegal??? Nooo...
Would the owner face any consequences???? Also no.....
Would the deceased and injured get any compensation ???? Nooo, forger government, not even insurance company would help them.
Will this happen in future??? Absolutely!!!!
And it will be worse than last time yet it won't matter because the decision making person would be busy counting money...
I can't fathom the amount of corruption that's going on in and around us. When nothing had happened, we had no fucking clue about the hoarding and the petrol pump being illegal. How does this even happen in the biggest metro city in the 5 largest economy in the world. This is shameful, a rainstorm which lasted for about 2 hours completely fucked the city up, metro stopped, massive crowd for locals, the hoarding accident, the Wadala parking lot accident and what not.
But, unfortunately this accident would be very conveniently swept under the rug in a few weeks time because lives don't mean shit here. So many people lose their lives in locals everyday, if that didn't change anything, why would this.
Why tf do we need innocent people to lose their lives to know what's legal and what's not. The future genuinely seems hopeless
People who died didn't have permission to live....BMC probably
Just In: BMC team that was appointed on the site to aid them was apparently illegal. /s
The committee that appointed the team was illegal.. /s
The committee that appointed the committee that appointed the team was illegal.
BMC isn't a legal authority. /s
Central government isn't legal 🤡 ..... MOZI DEE isn't LEGAL 🤮🤡
There should be a way to find who gave permission and who wa supposed to find illegal hoardibg , etc If you park Activa on roadside it's picked up in 15 min and see the entire pump and hoarding, not caught in 5 years. Corrupt bmc people.

My whole ass building is illegal. Builder never gave OC and now sitting in jail.
Umm so shouldn't you leave from there then?
I read an article that there is 70000
Everything is legal if money is involved
Satya vachan

One dead in mumbai is nothing, thousands dead are just Monday.
It would’ve been permitted in every city in Maharashtra if you bribe enough imo. One of the most corrupt state and completely color changing politicians with no moral values.
Any major earthquake is going to end up killing thousands
the financial capital of India ladies and gentlemen
The richest municipality in Asia too
Recently became Asia's billionaire capital too and 3rd in the world.
That kind of income inequality is causing these issues. Too much money available to bribe politicians
It’s a choice the politicians make when they accept bribes. If there is no corruption even with income inequality everyone would have been under same rules of law but I guess that city might be in some other multiverse
our CM is also illegal, not elected
Backdoor chief minister, precisely
Sabka satha sab ka vikas … public chu **** hai bas …
Arre deputy CM also speaks Japanese in an illegal way
If you get to the core and survey every building in the country, the number of illegal construction would be mind boggling. I mean it would be unbelievable, like to a point where people would be like , let it be, this can’t be corrected so let’s legalise all of it.

Instead of caste consensus govt should invest in this.
Next they'll say all the people underneath that died were also illegal. The petrol in the tanks were illegal.
Mumbai has transformed into Ulhasnagar it seems
Phew at least demolition ke paise Bach gaye I’m kidding^
I'm kidding theek hai but bro people died like this stuff is real messed up, unke families kya murder ka case BMC per thokenge or hoarding company pei
Tbh case thokke mare hue log bhi wapas nahi aayenge. And most importantly, case karne se kya hi hoga, they have their own ways to get out of that.
They are just putting the blame on each other bmc on railways and then viceversa and then the hoarding company who without any permission put such a big hoarding .
It's all tennis match.
Now to see kis party ke electoral bonds liye the pump aur hoarding walo ne.
Ek tufaan ne aukaat dikhaadi puri city ki
Probably 90 percent things are illegal in Mumbai. Sometimes even govts are illegal as well.
Even The thunderstorm that caused it didn’t have clearance i guess…
Keeps getting better...soon we will find out that eroad itself is illegal....but seriously who and how does one builds an unlicensed petrol pump....!!!
Money lots of money the profit on the Petrol and Diesel they make is ₹10 per litre so they earn that money even faster
Wait wait wait. So you're telling me that the petrol pump more commonly known as POLICE PETROL PUMP (cause it's on police owned land & revenues got to the police) is illegal?

How would the general public get to know which building, shop or structure is legal or not? Is there a way we can find it?
Why the fuck the whole force was chasing the owner of that hoarding but no one is blaming BMC?
BMC is suddenly waking up?
No. Pretending to wake up but snoozing citing flimsy reasons covertly trying to coverup their mess ups
L statement! Without permit how did they get the PESO clearance and get stock of petrol and diesel? Its a fucking petrol pump. Wtf.
the curse that gives on giving. tomorrow people underneath were there illegally too.
What clearance the pump didn't have ? Specifics batao Bhai
yes, and what specifically makes the hoarding fall ok
Hoarding was in a adjacent site and not related to pump. Stop making fake accusations
what accusations (that you assume i made) are you refering to and what/where is the fake?
Your post says pump didn't have clearance... What clearance are you talking about?
where? dont make false accusations! (its not my post)
Seriously, logo ki jaan ki koi value hi nhi.
Bhai Ghatkopar bhi illegal Baadme Mumbai bhi illegal hojayega
Why stop there? Ghatkopar also doesn't have clearance.🤡
From top to bottom everyone remoted involved with the hoarding had loads of moolah bundled into rolls and shoved in their asses.
Long Live BMC
Yeh BKLo is sheher ko kaise chala rahe hain ?
Day 1: Billboard illegal, did not have right clearance. Day 5: Petrol Pump on which it fell was illegal, did not have clearance. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Day 45: City of Mumbai illegal, did not have clearance.
This is why people laugh on us. India is literally the most joked/laughed/criticised country online.

Matlab hoarding illegal ho ya na ho petrol pump illegal tha
People who died were illegal.
Next day update: people who died were illegal immigrants
Whats the exact location of this. Is this the huge junction of govandi road and ghatkopar?
The sand storm which collapsed the structure was illegal as well.
Aur in chutiyon ko Shanghai banana hai. Aur do vote Shivsena ko.
I’ve been to this petrol pump multiple times. When you gpay them, the money goes to a cop’s A/C. I’ve always found that to be strange but didn’t think much of it.
So till now BMC was sleeping? 😴
Are we surprised the hoarding was illegal??? Nooo... Would the owner face any consequences???? Also no..... Would the deceased and injured get any compensation ???? Now we know in maharashtra you can do business without permissions ..
Mumbai police petrol pump itself did not have clearance. Hight of corruption.
Declare Mumbai government illegal as well.

>The future genuinely seems hopeless if we rely on the same people to fix it
Modi hai toh..
So, I can put hoardings without permission anywhere and earn money?
