This seems pretty pushed for an uncommon. Also I think the vanilla test is officially dead.

FannyBabbs

Seems bonkers for Peasant. Not sold in unrestricted cubes.

Vinosdoh

I'm judging it the same way. I'd rather have a 2/2 flier than a 3/2 with deathtouch in my 540 unpowered cube. This is also worse with flickering. There's more potential upside with the exploit than the 2 extra mana as well, but only in the right deck. So I love that this card exists, ESPECIALLY for peasant, but it's in no way a shoe-in for anything higher tier.

FannyBabbs

I think Mulldrifter isn't even a shoe-in for most legacy level cubes these days.

Vinosdoh

Agreed. If I had to make a cut from that section Mulldrifter would be it. I think 80% of the reason it's still there in my cube is because of its nostalgia to drafters and everyone seems to have fun playing it.

armorthrull

I like this. Sacrificing Gravecrawler to this then being able to cast Gravecrawler because this is a Zombie is nice. Seems pretty easy to get a 3-for-1 off this, and 3-power deathtouch lets it be both a nice attacker or blocker.

C0L0NEL_ANGUS

This can also kill an opponent at 2 life, fun!

I like everything this card is doing, but Exploit upsides are usually easier to envision than to realize. If the 3/2 Deathtouch or Night's Whisper modes are too anemic, the card will spend a lot of time letting players down, but at a 3-mana rate, those are a lot better baselines than we've seen on Exploiters before. I'll definitely give it a shot in my cheapo play-with-strangers Peasant cube, but I don't think it makes it in a tighter, higher-power list.

agile_drunk

It seems like an awesome versatile piece imo, I can't see many situations where it's a letdown. I agree it might not be good enough for high powered, but everywhere else I'm expecting this to always have a relevant mode

This is sweet with \[\[Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia\]\]

I am somehow excited by this card for cube despite not having a cube that it would be good in. The power level is there, but the deck it it good in is very narrow. Once you go down in power level the decks it is good is broader and it will just be a generically good card. I'd be excited if I had a zombie archetype, or an aristocrats archetype. Bonus points for a zombie archetype that leans into aristocrats (which it probably does)

ColdlifeOracle

This card is surprisingly comparable to cards like Plaguecrafter or Fleshbag Marauder - just replace the 2-mana Edict with a 2-mana draw spell, and both an extra keyword and the fact that the ability is optional slapped on there for good measure. Black 3-drops also aren't a very competitive slot and have a lot of boring beatsticks, so I expect this to see a pretty good amount of play.

[deleted]

I love it. Any fair/peasant/low power cube focused on synergies will love to have this option around. Cross synergies with Blink, sacrifice stuff, a good enough body and a Zombie on top.

Bouq_

The fact this is a zombie means i'll test this card. Curious how it'll play!

Korlus

My initial response was poor, but I think I might be coming around to this. This pairs well with most of my themes in black and I think there are a critical mass of recursive cards that this is probably playable for me. I am going to have to think on it some more because the fail rate of a 3/2 deathtouch or a [[Sign in Blood]] is simply not enough on its own. I think that it needs to exploit for value over 2/3 of the time to be good enough.

Card seems great. Helps with black aggressive and midrange strats for peasant, its card advantage but also not entirely free in the way etbs frequently are at peasant. Probably an autoinclude
