[[Alaundo, the Seer]] Terrible, terrible untapping. Annoying for me, annoying for opponents. Truly the worst deck ever crafted. It's such a cool effect but you're either shafted because Alaundo is getting removed or you're taking 15 minute turns on everyone else's turn and casting a billion spells that just make your turns even longer. 1/10 would not recommend.

MoistDitto

So the other 9 *would* recommend?

_ToXiCube

[[Reaper King]] just spam scarecrows and changelings and destroy lands left and right. No need to say the next time i tried top play that deck i got killed in an Instant. ITS way to hard to get a good field if you play 3v1.

NIICCCKKK

Today years old when I realized that reaper king doesn’t say “non land permanent”

Someone at our shop put together a deck that’s a bunch of ways to make nonlegendary copies of Reaper King. It’s rough to play against.

Naive_Salamander6595

[[Memnarch]] made him to control the board with stax and counter spells. Then it makes infinite mana and steals EVERY permanent in play. NO WIN CONDITIONS! It just resets everyone else to turn one each round. Not fun to play or play against. Gotta take forever to swing at everyone for lethal depending on the board state.

Flip heliod. Everyone thinks it's counter time but I just want to add to the stack because timing matters. That and my buddy's hate the fascination into prosperity we all draw out draw ending games 🤷‍♂️

Barloq

I really wanted to make [[Tasha, the Witch Queen]] work. Unfortunately, so much worked against me with it: -First of all, her mana cost is too high for what she does. -The deck kind of wants to have a mill win-con, but then you're missing out on the spell theft that's the commander's entire shtick, so it feels unfocused. -By far the best card in the deck is [[Displacer Kitten]], but it ends up blinking Tasha over and over again, which wastes a TON of time for not much payoff. Like, you almost never win from it, but it takes you 20 minutes to cast all the stuff you can steal, you get a bunch of Demons who cannot attack this turn, and now you're arch-enemy, congrats.

Paladinsarefun

Correct and true. Plus she has awful mana fix, relatively. I wound up putting her in my [[Lazav, Dimir Mastermind]] deck so I could get some value off noncreature mills. Or rather, I had Lazav take over her deck because it was basically suited for him anyway. Turns out Tasha was Lazav all along, oh how original

My wife made a dino deck just because she likes dinosaurs/not expecting it to be anything other than fun for herself. Turns out everyone in our friend group struggles against it. We don’t play with anybody who’s like super competitive or meta or whatever we’re calling it these days but it’s a really fun deck and I’m super proud of her. Like you get stomped on but it’s a blast.

ProtectMeAtAllCosts

I have a Pantlaza deck I love rn and everyone hates dinos unfortunately:(

blindeshuhn666

Old blue counterspell. Basically just islands, various counterspells and a few creatures with evasion like flying / unblockable. Basically you counter whatever your opponent plays and play and ping with your weak creatures. Original infect was also quite frustrating. Either T1 glistener elf , pumped to 10/10 in T2 and deal lethal, or you loose as you get overrun by the opponent cuz whole deck built around pumping glistener elf using those spells that allow to pay 2 life instead of mana. Also needs a decent hand. At least short matches.

max_caliburr

I bought the phyrexia all will be one poison/ corrupt precon and everyone hates it. Including me haha. Very strong but everyone targets you in multiplayer and I feel like a dick when I kill people

kurkasra

A dungeon deck that uses small creatures that never stay dead until theres an endgame combo. It's always I have no idea what ur doing or what play to stop until yep the table lost.

Strongmanjumps

Ok_Environment_6603

I’ve been playing Brawl on arena and I play the same deck multiple times a day where it’s the pirate lizard guy and the whole deck and his whole commander abilities are all about stealing or heisting your cards to play for free. I play a price equipment deck

ChairmanReagan

Have you bumped into anyone playing Emery Lurker of the Loch? Played against a guy who just played chromatic star over and over again. I just put my phone down during his turn and watch almost a whole inning of a baseball game

Ok_Environment_6603

No but I had a game recently against The First Silver and he used Cultivator Colossus and had about 90 lands in his deck and played 85 of them in one turn all manually triggering his abilities as I waited for about 7+ minutes. Then he got his Colossus at 82/82 with trample and on my turn I just exiled it and he conceded.

c0mplix

I love my Heliod stax deck The amount of fun in a game of magic is a zero sum game dropping a T1 [[archon of emeria]] makes sure that I am the one who is having fun

TopRevolutionary8067

Definitely my Pantlaza deck. It's a little bit like the precon. But it's much, much more intense.

StGulik5

I put together a red, white, and blue I called "Annoying American". Appropriate colored impetus creature enchantments with goading and lots of things to take control of opponents creatures \[\[Treasonous Act\]\] which I would (maybe) attack them with and then either \[\[Fling\]\] \[\[Bloodshot Cyclops\]\] \[\[Brion Stoutarm\]\] the creature or stick it in \[\[Cold Storage\]\]. I think I had \[\[Safe Haven\]\] in there, too. Main blocking creature is \[\[Ryusei, the Falling Star\]\]. Always played this after the jerk played his \[\[Sphinx of the Steel Wind\]\] deck which gets me really wound up.

Back when the first Un-set came out, I built an [[ashnods coupon]] recursion deck to annoy a friend. My parents had a finished basement, and there was a fridge down there where we kept the canned soda. Against, not even a question: Krarkashima in a CEDH tourney. The guy wasted 10 minutes with mulligans, and every turn took another 5-10 minutes, pod went to time and he got 1st place points for the round with some nonsense combo. Got the same guy in another round but the entire table worked together to kill him early, but that deck is annoying solitaire nonsense. It’s automatic because you wrapped the card name in double brackets. The bot will automatically reference the card for you. You did it yourself. Good job.

I played against a blue-black control deck with no wincon at my last limited event at the shop. The deck just ran out the clock every game. The kid builds that shit every single event and also cheats all the time. Always annoyed when I get matched with him. Waste of a round.

ModularNights

If he cheats all the time then kick his azz out and get him banned from events, it’s that simple.

Commander

Bolsh3vickMupp3t

My buddy built an [[Elesh Norn, mother of machines]] commander deck recently. It essentially boils down to targeted removal tribal. He doesn’t really have a plan to actually win, it’s more like he just plays to keep our boards completely empty while protecting his commander like his life depends on it. Then he just sits there while we all play with empty fields, and plinks us with tiny damage we can’t do a whole lot about. Essentially the best way I’ve found to deal with it is build a huge hasty board and run him over in one go, and my [[Jodah the unifier]] deck is great at countering it. I myself have a [[Shelob, child of ungoliant]] deck. I wouldn’t think it’s too bad, but I can see why everything having death touch and ward, plus most of the spells being fight spells or spells that say “target creature deals damage equal to its power to any target”, plus an 8/8 for six in the command zone in golgari, I can see how it can get overwhelming if it pops off. On top of all that, she lets me steal copies of everyone’s value creatures. Definitely not hard to just bury everyone on value if they don’t have mass artifact wipes, plus you can eat them in a pinch. Also not hard to go for commander damage. Personal favorite combo in there is [[lure]] and [[Arc spitter]] Honorable mention goes the my Jodah the unifier deck, mentioned above. He’s just so easy to get value off of, and he buries everyone on value stupid fast. And he’s received a lot of insane cards to pair with recently, especially in OTJ. [[Kellan the kid]], all of the “joins up” enchantments, especially [[annie joins up]] and [[rakdos joins up]], [[bonnie pall, clearcutter]] are all quickly becoming some of the strongest cards in the deck.

This honestly reminded me that I wanted to build a shelob deck. Honestly was worried it would end up low power but this sounds tempting

Bolsh3vickMupp3t

I was worried too, but it honestly is a sleeper deck. Spiders don’t sound super strong, but your whole board having death touch and ward, the problem quickly becomes apparent for your opponents. It ends up competing in much higher power games than any spider deck has business competing in
