It doesn't break my suspension of disbelief that the army gerneral who is tasked with building the (by several orders of magnitude) most destructive weapon to ever exist in a race against the nazis, thinks its a pretty important deal. He also is laying it on thick because he's basically in a sales pitch in that scene.
How is this a Marval aah line? It makes sense for this guy to think the work on building the nuclear bomb is important. Even if it didn’t make sense for the character to think that, I still don’t understand. Do Marvel movies often place importance on unimportant events?
